A perfect evening, great service, food and ambiance. It was our anniversary and my wife’s birthday.
I got a gift card on my birthday from a friend, we were there to give it a try and we loved everything! Service, food, ambience ... definitely we are coming back.
We had a great meal, loved our waitress and everyone was helpful. We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary
I would prefer her not sitting in the back room the ambience wasn't as good .
Our waitress was great except for the fact that she should have told us how much the red wine was . The pours are very small & The price is way too high . $ 24 for a very minimal pour.
Erika was outstanding!
The "surf & Turf" was outstanding! Awesome meal, with excellent service. We celebrated three birthdays, which is now a tradition for us at Ruth's Chris Steak House.
AuGratin potatoes came out hard, sent back and were still hard in the middle of the dish. I had a bone in fillet that was tough in some spots.
We always enjoy this restaurant. Excellent service (request the same server every time) is consistent with all of the staff. Amazing steaks, but the sides are also fabulous.
My only complaint is with Open Table. I made a reservation for 6 people but the default of 2 was what the app showed.
Wonderful service, tasty appetizer and meals. Warm ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Delicious dessert with hot coffee latte. Perfect evening. Thank you!
We went for our Anniversary and had a delicious dinner. Everyone greeted us with happy Anniversary and there were rose petals on our table. Erica was our server and I think Francisco assisted. Both were attentive and very nice. The one down side was that the table next to us had a lot of traffic - people swapping in and out of seats mid dinner, phone calls, going back and forth to smoke and people standing around the table talking with those seated. I understand stand that’s challenging for staff to address. Overall we just tried to tune it out and enjoy a delicious meal.
Good food, great service.
I ordered bbq shrimp, it came out cold, so I sent it back and ordered the chicken, the plate it came on was hot it burnt my fingers, no one told me it was that hot, so they then bring me some gel and just sat it on the table and walked away. 😡😡😡😡
Ruth Chris is always good. Though, this time there was a bit of confusion. We went on NYE and they gave us two different menus with different selections and pricing. I had one, my spouse had a different one. I didn't care much for our server. I found her to be bored and annoyed at any questions.
We we're seated the coldest part of the restaurant, ask them to turn the heater on and they never did. We asked for a new napkin for one of our guest, never got one. Our food was half cooked and one steak was way over cooked. We thought about sending back. The only positive thing was thank goodness we had jackets to wear.
My daughter and I celebrated my birthday on Dec 29, 2018. We had a marvelous time! My daughter had the T-Bone steak, and I had the Petite Sirloin and Lobster Tail. We started with Ahi Tuna, Lamb Ravoili, Crab Cakes, and Lobster Bisque. The food was absolutely delicious!!! The ambience was wonderful! The table was set with happy birthday confetti, in fact, there were 3 other tables of birthday celebrations! Wonderful service!!! We had an amazing time!! The bill was about $200
Out server was great!!!! I believe Her name was Ericka!
Reggie was awesome
Pllease enforce your dress code
Always a great experience and fantastic food.
Food excellent. Service excellent. Drinks excellent. Overall great experience.
Wife had salmon-she loved it.
I had fillet mignon-Diane - always great-best steak around.
We had the bbq shrimp- great
We both had Cesar salads which were very good-excellent.
You are getting the idea.
Service was exceptional though I had made reservations for a booth 2 months in advance and one was not available without waiting considerably longer than my reservation time. Food was excellent and the portions abundant. The pricing, however, was beyond Michelin Star dining, without the Michelin Star.
Christmas Eve. Very good food and service.
The steaks are absolutely delicious! The sides, however, were lackluster. We ordered salads that had quite a bit of wilted lettuce, and the potatoes au gratin were okay. Same goes for the Brussels sprouts. They were a bit undercooked but the flavor was there. The meat is where they shine, but it would be nice if their sides lived up to the star of the meal.
I made reservations for my husbands 30th bday dinner. We had reservations at 9pm, showed up 5 minutes early and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We waited 10-15 minutes to have our drink order taken. The door to the patio was open letting in cool ate most of the night. Food and wine were great!
We can't let the holidays pass with out our annual trek to the Galleria and a dinner at Ruth's Chris. Delicious dinner, wonderful drinks and a super server. No pressure to leave and we had a very relaxing time. Having valet parking outside the door was a bonus! No looking for a parking place during the holiday rush! Looking for a wonderful evening to celebrate? This is the place - just make a reservation! Worth every penny.
Great experience. Hostess was pleasant and friendly. Server named Reggie was exemplary. Food was hot, fresh, and delectable!
Regarding Open Table, excellent way of making reservations. We were not No Shows but we were 20 minutes late. Fortunately for us, we were seated immediately and the restaurant was pretty busy.
We had a wonderful Holiday Dinner this week with Dayna as our server. She was most congenial and helped us with our desert choices. The Classic 3 course meal is most for the value. Always know we will have a "fine dining experience" at Ruth Chris.
Great food. Outstanding service from our wait staff led by Donna. Made the anniversary special for us. Rose petals were a nice touch.
We have dined at this restaurant before and had a better experience. On this occasion the service was poor and had to flag down another staff member. One of the meals did not arrive until the rest of us were finished. Several of us returned our sides because they were cold. They did comp the last meal which was nice.
The waiter, Aaron, was an outstanding addition to the four of us enjoying our meal and time at the restaurant!
The meat, what they are known for was fantastic. We had two issues. We were seated to close to the bar. One lady there was having way to much fun. She was so loud! Really not the restaurant fault but when my wife and I had problems hearing each other, it’s a problem. The second issue was with the roasted Brussels sprouts. They were tough, to the point of being hard to cut. A big disappointment when you consider the quality of other food. They should know to stay with the baby sprouts, big is bad with sprouts.
We have a tradition of going to Ruth’s Chris with friends each year to celebrate Christmas. This year was a little disappointing. We arrived before our reservation in order to have a cocktail and relax before being seated at our table. This was apparently impossible because the entire bar was crowded with Happy Hour customers and we were informed that there was a wait list for the bar. Didn’t think about it being a Friday night...seems that they should have some accommodations for people going on into dinner (and spending serious money there). The service was a little slower than usual and it took a while to get some cocktails ordered, but ok. As usual the food was good for the most part, but I was served a very cool baked potato with hard butter pats in the middle. Kind of surprising because they are so careful about the temperature of their meats. Anyway it was good, but the whole experience was not up to the standard that we have come to expect from this establishment.
Jessica was our server, she was great. The food was amazing!!!
To be honest I paid 350 dollars for steak and lobster that I could have done at home much better. The lobster was tiny and pitiful. The steak was good, but not anything special. The sides were au gratin and corn veggie mix- not impressed at all/nothing special The table setting was on point and atomsphere good- staff was lovely. Your food is lacking creativity and taste and over priced. I’ll say it again- lacking creativity. And. Taste.
The service was exceptional. The steak not so much. But it was cooked perfectly. When you are paying that much for a meal it should be flawless and should be a different dinning experience than a mid priced steakhouse
They were serving cold water lobster which is bland at best in my opinion. They steak had very little flavor. I am told as well that they don’t always serve prime beef but I don’t have verification of that.
We go often to celebrate special events and usually have a wonderful experience. This time we went to celebrate a birthday for our 15 yo. I told the server we had to leave at a certain time when we sat down for dinner and things started great - food was amazing as usual but then the server never stopped back by so I had to finally ask someone random to get our leftover food ready to go as we were out of time. I was expecting a small birthday treat for him with a candle to celebrate (we didnt do cake at home as we were just doing dessert at the restaurant) but it never came (they knew it was a birthday - had the confetti on the table, etc). The server finally showed up with the check, I had to ask if they still served a small treat for birthdays and she said 'oh yeah' and I had to ask if we could just get it to go. The family already left to get the car and I stayed to pay the bill. Told the manager I was unhappy as we spent $200 for the 'celebration event' and he just said 'yeah sorry we will take it as a coaching opportunity'....guess we just go for happy hour from now on...did not meet our expectations this time.
We celebrated my wife’s Birthday again at “Ruth’s Chris (we do this every year)” and loved it once again.
Poor service. Bad quality waiter was an idiot and forgot a variety of things.
