Disappointing. Been dining here for years. Now the plates are tiny, salads are tiny the coffee cups belong in a diner. Friends had sea bass that was tough to cut and looked liker a baseball. Ruth's Chris Corp please buy to back before it is completely ruined.

For the most part our waiter Chad was great buuut… It took FOREVER to get our plates picked up and our check delivered. He finally picked up our plates after we sat at least 15 minutes maybe longer then he went off and help somebody else instead of bringing us our check or asking if we wanted dessert. He did finally do both of those probably 15 minutes later, so now we have spent 30 minutes waiting on him. He just seemed very unorganized about how to handle the tables.Our steaks were ordered medium, which would be a little pink in the middle. It came to us rare. Very red. I’ll eat it that way but I would like to get it the way I ordered it. I don’t think we will ever go there again. Just didn’t meet the expectations for the price-$250.

We have been ardent customer/fans of Ruth's Chris for over 20 years. The last two times we have been to this Roseville, CA store has resulted in dis-satisfaction. Both times the service has been slow, inattentive and generally lacking. In addition, this time some of the food was substandard. My wife's filet was tough and contained gristle, the asparagus was over cooked and awful and they didn't have the Irish whiskey I usually get. We are debating whether or not to try this place again but haven't made a decision. At the current time and for the first time ever, we can't recommend this restaurant.

Food was great! Server however, was not. He never brought out my wife’s wine. He didn’t check on us once in the 2 hours we were there. Just didn’t seem like he cared to be there. It was our anniversary so he brought the whole mood down a little.

This was a special occasion so we decided to try it. I saw that the other servers visited the tables around us throughout the meal at least 5-6 times. Our server checked on us once during the meal and we were able to ask for a second drink only because she walked to our table in error for another guest. Then we didn’t see her until the end. Maybe we didn’t appear high class enough or order what is expected but that is no reason to ignore a table. I had a hair in my meal (clearly belonging to the server) and the potatoes at gratin were undercooked. I didn’t bother to complain about it because she never checked on us again. I never tip on the low end no matter the cost of the meal but this was one exception. Seriously disappointed and will never go back. The service ruined this meal for me.

Was stunned that this 4 to 5 Star (and very high-end / pricey) restaurant did not have an adequate selection of Bourbons. Also, I requested a single rock of ice in my Bourbon and was told they did not have that! ? The highest priced Cabernet on the menu was closer to a non-descript Pinot Noir. That was $41 per glass. Food was good. My wife and I dropped $330 for two small Filets, shared potatoes and asparagus. Not dessert. No appetizers. Only one drink before dinner. Only one glass of wine for each of us. With tip, $330! Far better value elsewhere.

Though our waiter Chad was fine he shouldn’t have been given more tables when he had a table of 20 guest. Nobody came to see if our fine was fine or if we needed anything else (which we did) until we were done eating. We ordered a bottle of champagne but no ice bucket to keep it cold…unacceptable.

We asked for spicy shrimp and received spicy calamari it was comped and they gave us the spicy shrimp. We asked for Mushrooms as a side and got mashed potatoes we did not say anything because we were already eating our main course and just wanted to eat and talk about things. I asked for medium rare steak and received well done but it as still good again did not complain. I wont be back it was not worth the money.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. It felt like the staff really cared about us. I wish their cocktail list was larger though as we aren't big on wine. I would say it's one of the best places around. I thought the steaks were slightly overpriced but not bad in comparison to other high quality restaurants.

I was very disappointed. The first time I had the lamb chop special, they were tender and juicy and I could not wait to order them again but unfortunately, this time they were tough, dry and overcooked. The waiter offered to remedy the matter but I did not want to ruin the flow of the birthday celebration dinner. I will give Ruth Chris one more try before I decide not to go back.
