Engagement. Luis was top notch and amazing!
Excelente Fantastic. Uno de los mejores bares y Terrazas en la ciudad. One of the Best Bars and Terrance in town. The food is great and top service.
We have visited this Ruth’s Chris before. This trip was for our 30th Anniversary! It was beyond outstanding! Our server, Raquel, was knowledgeable and helpful! From start to finish the night was perfect! Food was excellent, as usual!
I would recommend. But not for lunch. The prifix menu was way too expensive at $31.95 and there was no option to Change it. Should be a couple of choices. Our server was not good at all. She forgot our drinks and had to be reminded. She was constantly trying to upsell to a point it was a little uncomfortable. I ordered a steak sandwich and it was ok. But the bernaiase sauce just didn’t make much sense. The sandwich was a bit dry. My clients has the steak and many claimed they were over cooked for the temp they ordered. I had dinner there the next night and that was good. Def better than the lunch.
Unfortunate long wait. Excuse was the transition from brunch to dinner, unacceptable excuse for a fine dining restaurant. Perry's next time around.
The Mother’s Day brunch closed at 3 pm but they accepted my reservation for 2:45 without telling me that. The service was friendly but slow. The food was good but one could tell it had been out for a while.
Food was excellent but the service was non-existent.
Made a reservation for 6 for a business lunch - it took over an hour to get our food, and one of our party couldn’t wait any longer, and had to leave before his food arrived. This restaurant is adjacent to the Convention Center - you’d think they could handle a lunch rush. Noise level high as well.
Always great food. I had never tried the filet, always going for rib eye or sirloin, but it was excellent. Great asparagus.
The service was slow, the food was not as good as the price reflected.
Overall positive experience - great location on the River Walk. Food was very good, as usual for Ruth's. Service, however, was not as expected considering my prior experiences. Our waiter seemed to be over-stretched, was serving an entire area, and only managed to check on us a couple times. This is NOT typical of Ruth's. We were at the restaurant for about 2 hours - though not in a big hurry, this is a bit too long for our party of 2.
The food was amazing and Raquel provided outstanding service!
Great food. Great service!
Food was not hot . Service was slow which contributed to good not being hot. Seemed like food had been sitting a while before it was served.
Very disappointed we burned our hands on the plates they were extremely hot but we never got reminded of it the plates were really hot
Food was fantastic service was also great was a perfect Easter brunch with family
The food is just ok but the service was not very ideal…
When serving the food the waiters were not very careful, some shrimps fell from the steak to the tray and they just picked it up and put it back to the plate…
Ask for lemonade with no ice and it came with 80% of the glass ice cubes…
Everything was perfect! The staff really made my Birthday Lunch for one very enjoyable and extra special!!!
Fabulous as always! We sat on the patio next to the Riverwalk. Delicious food and great ambiance
Great service amazing food I would recommend to anyone
Great service and food! Always like eating hear when we are San Antonio!
Had an absolutely fabulous evening here. My husband & I and a friend were closing out a nice weekend visit and this was the icing on the cake, so to speak. Our server, Raquel, was amazing! She paced everything well, gave great recommendations, took our picture as a memento, and was truly a part of our special evening. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail. They were amazing. We all had the filet, which was so tender and flavorful. Then the blueberry cheesecake with ice cream...just topped it off correctly. Thank you Ruth's Chris -Riverwalk!
As usual, Ruth's Chris was on point. Excellent service, food and overall atmosphere.
Average at best! I think I will take this place of my list now. Too many better options in SA now.
We came for lunch and attend many different high end steak houses in the San Antonio area. Service was fine, but there were lots of servers just hanging out since they just opened; service could have been better. Our steaks were over-cooked and crunchy rather than what it should’ve been for a $31 lunch. Mashed potatoes weren’t hot and the drinks were way overpriced for the experience. Definitely will not be back to this location. Expected better from a high end steak house on the riverwalk.
Good time thanks.
Great service and took great attention to my reservation notes about our Anniversary and where we would like to sit (on the patio with view of river walk). They had decorated the table with rose petals and we got free dessert. The manager also came by and thanked us. We will definitely be going back. Amazing food and top notch customer service
I could have bought and cooked a better steak myself. The Augustine potatoes were cold and were very lame and the Brussels sprouts were not thoughly cooked. Was very disappointed and will never be back. Definetly had buyers remorse for the amount of money we spent.
Poor service, They were not even busy. Waited 20 minutes for a cocktail. Then the same for a dessert. My bill was over 200.00 . Not complaining on the price because it is a nice place but the waiting I wasn't happy about.
It was our first time at a Ruth’s Chris, and Ive gotta say it was amazing! Our server, Dominique, was spot and my filet was probably the best Ive ever had.
$3400 dinner and it just was terrible. Corporate probably needs to take this one over as well.
The atmosphere was like dining in a typical hotel restaurant. Nothing like what I’ve seen at other Ruth Chris restaurants.
The waiters we had was awesome. She was always checking on us to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything.
We went there Saturday 3/2/2019 for dinner and both ordered the filet and shrimp classics meals, with iced tea for me and water for my wife. We don't drink alcohol. The tea and water arrived after we had finished our starters and been served our entrees, although we noticed that a table near us was served their drink orders almost immediately, and received almost constant attention from our waiter throughout their meal. We never saw our waiter again (a runner brought our meal out), but the Manager did stop on his rounds and we mentioned the lack of attention from our waiter. I told him that we were used to being ignored because we didn't drink and waiters will take care of drinkers because of the bigger check and bigger tips. He acknowledged that that happened but did not want it to happen in his restaurant, and said he would go back and talk to our waiter. He noticed that our tea and water had not been refilled and said he would take care of that also. Eventually a different waiter did the refills, after we had finished our desserts. Our waiter did eventually did show up with the check and a perfunctory "Have a nice day" as he dropped the check on the table, which was the only indication we had that the Manager had talked to him. We regularly visit Ruth's Chris in Houston and have come to expect better service, so we know when we don't get it. Maybe this location is too used to serving tourists along the River Walk that they feel that they don't have to do a good job, but poor service still reflects on the whole Ruth's Chris organization, and there is too much competition among high-end steak houses (particularly in Houston) to have to accept poor service like this. I certainly know we won't soon forget it. Particularly the ineffectiveness of the Manager in dealing with the problem. Other than that, the food was as expected, although the portions (especially the side dishes) were smaller than we remember - hardly "family-sized".
Enjoyed service and meal.
Waited 45 min for our food then steak came out raw. We walked out
Great food but definitely pricey but othe money if you’re wanting a nice dinner.
Our first time at this location and it was the same outstanding experience. We were promptly sat and everything from the service to the food was exemplary. There's no going wrong with the choice of Ruth's Chris.
