👍👍👍 everyrhing was excellent....!
Food was excellent, service was excellent, nice restaurant, overall wonderful experience and will definitely be back.
For starters, my waiter got my order wrong. I order a petite ribeye and lobster tail but was brought out a 6 oz fillet and lobster tail. I did appreciate the manager coming by to apologize an offer a free appetizer. When the correct steak came out, it tasted funny. Like the meat was old. I was not impressed with this location at all.
Great place with amazing food and atmosphere. My family and I went for Easter brunch and loved it! Our waiter was super attentive and concerned about our wellbeing.
Steaks are always the melt in your mouth .
Great place for a romantic dinner. Highly recommend!
We had a reservation for 8 pm and a couple walked after us with no reservation was seated first after we were told they had no table ready . I know the couple did not have a reservation because they stated it and was told it was a 45 minute to an hour wait when they walked in behind us but was seated less then 10 minutes later because us . The table cloth was dirty and the waiter took the salt and pepper shakers and placed them over a few of the many dirt spots on the white table cloth . This was the worst experience I have ever had while dining at a Ruth’s Chris steakhouse!
My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. It was our first time there and Mitchel the waiter made our night with the great service he provided to us on our 24th Anniversary. The atmosphere was amazing along with the food.
Food is average at best. Steaks ordered medium plus and came out medium rare, then was well done when sent back to cook more. Overall not very good.
Loved it! Everything you’d expect at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Excellent food, service and ambiance.
Loved It.. Waitress didn’t check on us enough
Started with blackberry side car and Wow!
Crabmeat stack was out standing! Ruth’s special menu is the way to order! Celebrated our anniversary and they made us feel so special. Make sure you get Michael and Dragon to help you.
My wife and I go to Ruth’s Chris when we want a dining experience, not just dinner. Most recently we celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary at the Houston location. We enjoyed a long meal, slow-paced and filled with conversation, facilitated by our wonderful server Sherry and the support staff. Ruth’s is always a top-three choice for steak and wine, and we always leave satisfied. HIGHLY recommend.
Definitely worth going for a special occasion. We went for my birthday and they made sure to take a few extra steps to make me feel special. They sprinkled birthday confetti on the table. They even had a birthday card for me signed by the staff and the waitress even took a polaroid picture for us to remember the night. The service was great as was the food which was cooked just as ordered. We both ordered from the prix fixe menu. We both had the steak and I added the lobster with mine. The roasted veggies with bleu cheese were really yummy. For dessert, the waitress was really sweet and swapped out the standard cheesecake (which I don't care for) on the prix fixe menu to the chocolate duo which was exactly what I wanted and the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner!
My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The table was decorated so beautiful. There were rose pedals and candles everywhere. The service was amazing. It was also a Anniversary card signed by the team. Fellows remove yourself and let Ruth Chris take care of it. Thanks for the experience and creating a memorable moment!
Food was excellent! Service was great !! Only thing that had me bothered was a fly in our wine .. which they didnt charge us but still was bothering
I have fell in love. My husband ordered the stuff chicken breast. OMG it was seasoned sooooo well, didn't have to add salt or pepper to it. I had the bone-in rib-eye steak, I wanted it med rare but the waiter recommended to be prepared some type of way ( I cant think of what he said) I was delicious. The side was enough for 2. We had the lobster mac and cheese and the corn, but really good. The atmosphere is very nice and laid back but classy. I didn't feel like we didn't belong. Definitely worth the money and drive.
Typically dine at RC in Los Angeles. This was my first time in the Houston restaurant. The vibe was completely different but the service was outstanding as usual. We were celebrating my son's acceptance to his number 1 college choice and the wait staff all congratulated him individually as they walked past our table.
My only recommendation is for an expansion of the whiskey list to include a few more single malt scotch offerings.
The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and delivered each course at the right time.
I had never been to a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, though my wife had many years ago. I did not know what to expect. I have been to several of the national chains like The Palm, Mortons, and Flemings, not to mention our local chain in Houston, Perry’s. So was this going to be another typical experience of “good, but not great”? Actually, no. First of all, the location, on Westheimer in the Galleria area is beautiful and spacious. The wine list is excellent. The service was exemplary. The ambiance is comfortable, business casual to elegant, and the wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The steaks were excellent and tender, my wife going with a filet, and I went with a ribeye. I do wish they featured seared fois gras, as that makes a steak, but they do feature other options. The sweet potato side was the best I ever tasted, with strong vanilla overtones. The dessert was the chocolate duo, which was a melting cake and a chocolate mousse. All in all, the overall dining experience was excellent, and I won’t hesitate to return. Some national chains have not aged well. I was underwhelmed, for example, with Mortons. But Ruth’s Chris is still churning out excellent food at a good price for the genre.
We came here for my husband's birthday. Everything wass excellent!
My sons 15th birthday
The service was terrible. It took forever to receive our drinks, the food order came out missing the mushrooms we had ordered, it took 20 minutes from dessert to be checked on, waters weren’t refilled, the booth’s seat was torn. For the price, similar restaurants offer much better service and seating that is comfortable and not damaged. We were highly disappointed.
The seafood tower was awesome. The steaks came out perfect as usual.
We went to Ruth's Chris for my birthday dinner. The table was nicely decorated including a birthday card when we arrived. My martini was nicely prepared and wine was the proper temperature and generously poured. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested. Ruth's is the only place that has figured out how to make a ribeye well done without having the texture of a track shoe. Sides were delicious. They were pretty busy, but the manager, Aaron, stopped by our table to wish me a happy birthday which I thought was a nice touch. Great experience.
As always...Excellent food and service! Delicious sizzling steak!
We appreciate the effort taken to make our anniversary dinner very special.
Awesome evening, great meal with excellent service!! We were not in a hurry and our server got that!!! Thanks!
Everything was perfect. Wait staff was attentive; Presentation was very good; meat was perfect temperature and very tender. Waiter also asked if we had a timetable and made sure we stayed on time for our show. Managers cam to the table to check on our satisfaction.
As usual, our experience was outstanding. the food is always superb, and the service is casual yet elegant. I love the way this place smells~ thanks so much for making our celebration meal special!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1st visit! Excellent food and waiters! Mr. Jose and Danzel did a great job of making us comfortable and taking care of our orders.
The valet wasn’t tentative but the waiter was on top of his game, it’s hard to say much about the ambience when people are grazing your chair as they walk by. The food wasn’t Exactly as I remember comparing to the San Antonio location but overall the experience and the food I’d say 8/10 for this location!
In the past I would haven given this restaurant a 5 all the way. They were extremely busy and there were a couple of large groups which probably explains my experience Friday night..Louder than usual, our waiter seemed harassed and a bit impatient and there their light crunchy fries were actually cold and soggy.
Honesty this has never happened to us at any Ruth Chris. So we will go back to the Houston location again and complain to the manager if there is a problem.
Their steaks are wonderful and a great wine selection. Even the best restaurants can have an off night. So don’t be afraid to give it a try.
Great service ! I never give any a 5 star unless it’s outstanding!
The only issue was the garage next door, the lights from the cars parking was extremely bright
This was my first visit to Ruth Chris and it did not hold up to its reputation. The service was very poor and the food was average at best. The overall experience left a lot to be desired compared to other steakhouses on the high end level in the area. I reached out to the corporate office about my experience and never heard back.
Loved the atmosphere and Gergio was amazing. The food was poorly seasoned in my opinion, everything except the baked potato. For 200+ dollars, I expected more from the food. But everyone's service and attention to any needs was impeccable.
Everything was excellent. I had the 16 oz bone in filet Pittsburgh style. AMAZING! Sweet Potato casserole looking thing that was recommended..... AWESOME! We went on a Sunday at 5:30. Quiet and Relaxing. If you’re lucky you will get Mitchell to serve your meal. He knows his stuff and could not have gone further out of his way to make sure my wife and I had a great evening.
The waiter Mitchell or Michael? was very attentive and accommodating! My oldest daughter wanted to join us at the last minute and within minutes she was served ready for a fine dining experience. Thank you for a pleasant experience!
