We are still in search of the great steak in the Jacksonville / St. Augustine area. Tough to find USDA Prime filet mignon around here. The food was good but I think the Dr. Philips Orlando location is much better when it comes to just about everything. There were some ceiling tiles that need adjusting (as far as ambiance) and we could feel the a/c go on and off. My water glass was empty more often than full. My first steak was overcooked (burnt and hard) but the replacement was fine as a medium cooked steak. Have to be careful with the hot plates as they keep cooking the meat. Chopped salad was too heavy on the mayo side. Tuna appetizer was good as were the potatoes au gratin and corn. The bone in filet, I was told, was very good. Excellent wines.
They sat a table with 5 small children right next to us. Completely ruined our meal. They were loud, banging fists, running around the table. We were so disappointed that we didn’t order an entree and left after our appetizer.
Food is well prepared and offers generous portions. Top notch team of servers and waitstaff all provided timely service and professionalism
Service was a bit slow to start. Didn’t get cocktails until 15 minutes after being seated.
We have enjoyed dining at numerous Ruth’s Chris Restaurants. We were pleased with this location, as well. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and overlooks a small lake with a fountain.
As we had expected, the food and service were outstanding.
Unbelievable as it sounds, worst birthday dinner ever! Steak was charred and dry and waitress so unavailable, we poured our own wine. Been going to this location for over 18 years for our special occasions but looking for a new place to celebrate. Way too pricey to not have excellent service and food.
We were a party of 6 which included four 12 year old girls. Our waiter was Cain and his service was impeccable. The night out was to celebrate a birthday, but was also a test of the 12 year olds manners. Cain treated them as adults and was quick to fulfill every picky eaters request no matter how odd. We have had Cain as a waiter in the past and his consistent excellent servic is always appreciated and noted. Our food was cooked to perfection as always.
We had a wonderful time and a fabulous meal. TJ and Bryant took GREAT care of us. Steaks, over the top, as usual, and that lobster Mac&Cheese was heavenly. Can't go wrong with the creamed spinach to round out the meal. Thanks Ruth's Chris for the consistency over the years.

Enemy with family for my daughter’s birthday, her first visit to a Ruth’s Chris and she loved it. Food was great, service was great.
We ate here for my husband's birthday. Our server, the food and ambience was excellent. The manager has done a great job keeping everything running smoothly. We enjoyed the experience.
Appetizer came out lukewarm and we waited an hour and a half for our main course because our waiter forgot to put our order in
The staff at Ruth’s Chris’s Steakhouse here in PV were wonderful. My Open Table reservation for our birthday dinner somehow didn’t go through. But they managed to prepare a table for two for us, complete with shiny birthday confetti scattered on the tablecloth & a card signed by the staff. Our fabulous waiter, Cain, made sure we were well taken care of, comping our corkage fee. Of course the food was sizzling hot & delicious. What could have been a disastrous evening turned out very special. Thank you!, Ruth’s Chris’s!
Everything from the valet to the dinning was sub par. We have dined at several Ruth’s Chris locations, and were regulars at the one in NC when we lived there. Since we have now moved to Jacksonville, we were excited to go somewhere familiar. The valet service was very slack, there was no sense of urgency and neither of the staff was friendly in their greeting....this was our sign of things to come. As my wife and I were seated......in the middle of the dining room at a 4top table, the hostess seemed distracted and not really at our attention. It took several minutes before our server showed up and took our drink order. While he was pleasant enough, he was sweaty and did not have a very neat appearance. The server assistant was equally in poor form, and it was obvious she was coming down with a cold....flushed, coughing occasionally, and a stuffy nose. While she was packing up our to go bag, she was turning her head and coughing more than once. We decided to throw our left overs away to help avoid catching a cold.
Food was just ok. We have had several exceptional meals at various Ruth’s Chris locations, this one was not one of them. While there was nothing specific that was bad, it just wasn’t the “wow” we are accustomed to.

We enjoyed a belated Valentine's Day dinner at Ruth's Chris this past weekend. We were seated promptly with a nice table by the window overlooking the water. Our server Michael was absolutely phenomenal! He was attentive and thoroughly explained the menu and offered his recommendations. Our steaks were cooked perfectly (filet and bone-in strip steak). We ordered Brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes. The potatoes were bland and could have used some seasoning. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and we will be back!

First time I’ve been to RC since I went no carb. Great salad with oil and vinegar. Great NY Strip done perfectly. Grilled asparagus, amazing. Where else can you have this much gastronomical pleasure with so few carbs. Jacob our server was great.

Valentine's Day was busy, but we were treated like their only customer. Outstanding meal and super service. As always, Jason was great.
We went on Valentine’s Day thinking we’d have a pleasant experience similar to the Ruth’s Chris in the NY/NJ area. When we arrived for our reservation we were told we’d need to wait about 15 minutes. This wasn’t a problem and we ordered drinks at the bar. No sooner had the drinks arrived (less than 5 minutes) however, we were told our table was ready. No one, unfortunately, offered to take our drinks to the table so I juggled a full martini and my drink to the table. When we ordered our steaks we asked about the various levels of prep and were told that “medium” was “pink throughout”. Only to find when the meat arrived it was red/rare throughout. The Chilean sea bass, which normally would flake onto your fork was tough and dry. Overall a bad culinary experience.
My husband brought me there for my birthday which is also Valentines Day. Dinner was very good. Service was slow at first then was much better. We celebrate all of our special occasions here. I saw other women getting long stem roses from the manager, this year no rose for me. A little disappointed in tonight’s experience.
I can always count on the staff to be prompt and knowledgeable for everything we need.
As usual outstanding, professional service makes the experience incredible. It doesn’t matter which server we get it’s always top notch. The food especially streaks served on 500 degree plates is always second to none! Thank you!
Here for a Birthday and an Anniversary celebration. I don’t think I’m going to tell them I’m celebrating in advance from now on. I’ve noticed a trend. They always sit us at the front, right near the bar and the waiter Entrance/Exit to the kitchens (I assume). It’s very loud and not as romantic.
We did receive a free dessert, however, we did not get to pick it. I understand that it’s free. We just personally do not like cheesecake and probably would have declined the dessert if we had known they were bringing something out.
Otherwise, the food is always delicious. Service is always great. My complaints are my own, but if someone benefits from them, all the better for their planning.
To me-Ruth's Chris restaurant is very good but not worth the price! it is way too expensive for what you get. $60 for a small ribeye steak and no sides is just insanity. I would much rather go to the Tree Steakhouse and pay half the price and it comes to the salad and a side. Drinks are also way too high. I paid $15 for a glass of wine that costs $15 for a bottle at the store.(meoimi pinot noir) and it's a twist cap. cocktails were also $15.

Service was excellent. We enjoyed the food and the bill was as expected, high.
We frequent Ruth's Chris but the last 3 visits we had horrible service. A few months ago I never received any of our sides even after asking 4 times. We also never received any bar service or water refills while we dined. They apologized about forgetting all our sides and packed my spouts, broccoli and mushrooms and the wrong dessert into a box and sent us on our way. Last week again we dined here and my filet was ordered medium rare and came well done. I sent it back and was assured another would be out shortly. About 50 minutes pass and we were all done dining had received the check and the others had bagged their leftovers to go. Out comes our steak and they were pushing me to take it home in a box. Nobody wants to eat leftover filet from the microwave the next day! I guess my meal review will be the broccoli which was just broccoli because that is all I ate. High end restaurant with low end service the last 3 times we went.
Our server, Jacob, helped to make our son’s birthday dinner a memorable event.
