Food was excellent. Steaks cooked to perfection and the lobster mac and cheese was so delicious. Our server John was very attentive and courteous. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and as always, Ruth's Chris is by far the best place in making you feel special for whatever occasion you are celebrating.

Ruth's Chris is my go to steakhouse on Ponte Vedra Beach. However, in celebration of my girlfriend's birthday, I decided to surprise her with her favorite meal: Lobster stuffed with Crab Meat. So I called in advance and ordered two 3.5 pound Maine Lobsters stuffed with crab meat without breading. We arrived and was escorted to our booth, with John and Chris our waiters. We shared the Ruth Chris chopped salad, and when the lobsters arrived she was all smiles. The Lobsters were cooked to perfection, and the Crab Meat was outstanding. We added a side of Creamed Spinach which by far exceeds anyone's expectations. She just delighted in the meal, with Irish Coffee and Cheesecake for dessert. The service was impeccable. If you're a Lobster lover, call in advance for the chef to order the exact lobster size and certainly add crab meat with it.

Normally Ruth’s Chris experience for us is overall 5 stars, however the stuffed mushrooms tasted like left overs, they tasted like they were already cooked and re-heated. I should have said something to the server, but that was very disappointing, the broccoli which is also normally good was cold and a little over cooked. The service was good, We drank a lot of wine, and my wife enjoyed so didn’t want to overshadow the moment, but it was overall just average.

Birthday dinner for my wife. Steaks we ordered were medium well and upon receiving them, my wife’s steak was medium rare. We asked to have it fixed, it was immediately addressed. However, all they did was place the plate back in the oven and turn it into an overcooked steak ( well done). We didn’t want to draw attention again and decided to just push forward. What killed me, was the fact that it happened to her during her birthday dinner. I offered to give her mine but it was a different cut and she declined. Given the cost of the restaurant and steak being their focus, this should not of happened. Will not return as there are other options

The restaurant was very busy almost hectic. Our server did a very good job of keeping up with multiple tables. The manager also helped out so we never felt neglected. I usually don’t care about dress codes but there were men in shorts and t-shirts with unbuttoned flannel shirts. We arrived on time for our reservation, checked in and were told to wait. Somebody with the secret handshake came in and went straight to their table as waited for a while longer. Not cool.

Very poor service for Ruth’s Chris’s standard. Drinks were not filled, waiter was over whelmed, ribeye but a foot cut, manager said they were short staffed - well then don’t book so many reservations. I should have to sacrifice my service because you don’t have enough people. I would not go back to this facility again. Always had much better service at the Ruth’s Chris in downtown Jacksonville.

My wife and I had another great visit to Ruth's Chris. As always, the food was outstanding but this time I stepped out of my normal comfort zone of a Ribeye to try the Lamb Chops. They were excellent and paired so well with our Mondavi Cabernet. My wife's Filet was perfectly cooked and she enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed my meal. But the best thing about visiting the Ponte Vedra, Ruth's Chris is that it is a couple of hours of respite from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We arrive with an appetite for great food and leave with the satisfaction of a wonderful time spent together.
