Mother’s Day lunch. Everything was great!
Enjoyed a very fine Mother’s Day meal with one of our favorite servers. While lake view room was full, it was not crowded with tables, all were appropriately separated and with an adequate number of staff on a day when many “amateurs” take their mothers to dine. Fortunately the staff realizes the neophytes’ dilemma and provided guidance so tables turn over in a timely manner. We were able to enjoy a well-paced meal without incident.
Looking forward to our next trip to Ponte Vedra!
Service was impressive. Table was ready on time and staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was cooked perfectly. Fantastic overall experience!!!
Fortunately, one of our favorite servers, Jeremy, was working when we made this short-notice reservation. Even though we opened the dining room at 4:30, soon it was full of pre-Mother's Day diners that Thursday.
Jeremy kept our meal well-paced and made some excellent suggestions. We look forward to another great experience on Mother's Day!

The Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We made our reservation a week or more ahead. We were in an off room & the noise level was so incredibly loud we could not even have a conversation. It certainly took away from our overall experience.

Love RC for all our family special events. It is a cut above and the food is consistently great. I always hear about this or that steakhouse and how they are better than RC, but this is rarely the case. PV Beach location is solid and the service can't be beat. Location is great too. Enjoy!

My sister and I had a great night together
Celebrating my wife's birthday with one of our sons and his wife, enjoyed an excellent, well-paced meal. Despite dining on a Saturday at 5, the tables were well-spaced so we didn't have any COVID-19 risks and the adjacent tables didn't fill up until we were having our dessert.
Jason had our usual champagne bucket filled with our favorite sparkling wine, gave us time to review the limited menu (good news--they are expanding the menu soon, perhaps returning to the traditional book!). When my son inquired about the ribeye, I thought of the Easter Special--the Tomahawk. After discussion, we decided on sharing that while the ladies enjoyed some seafood.
I was surprised when Christine, the GM, presented the Tomahawk personally, then proceeded to cut and serve our meat while Jason served the ladies.
My son and I split the 40-plus ounce Tomahawk, leaving very little (other than the VERY BIG BONE) for our dog.
Afterwards, my wife enjoyed a complimentary dessert, shared by all as we were quite satiated.
Looking forward to our next opportunity to travel to Ruth's Chris, perhaps for happy hour.
MORE GOOD NEWS! On the way out, we noticed that the bar now has seating, in addition to the four tables (previously, the bar stools were removed as a COVID-19 measure).
Started out great - Cody took our drink orders and was very attentive - even made recommendations. We ordered salad and lobster bisque - salads came but never got the bisque. Next thing we know our entrees are here - still no bisque and no wine and no Cody. Server offered bisque but why- our meals would have to be recooked. We had started our meals when Cody showed up, apologized, said "mix up in kitchen" said he would remove from bill - of course u will. Now where is our wine??? Overall ok but discouraging that a caliber restaurant like RC allows things like this to even happen - not just one issue, but 2.
We had great birthdays and fantastic service and food.
Everything was superior, EXCEPT that of the 3 filets ordered, O were cooked as requested. The good news is that the staff quickly agreed with our evaluation and apologized and replaced the steaks and even the side dishes. Mistakes were made in the kitchen and reactions were all appropriate and the 2nd attempts were perfect. The good news was that all was repaired quickly and the bad news was that it was necessary.
Why? Who knows. Maybe because it was a Monday.
In any case, I heartily recommend you try Ruth's Chris. Their reputation is terrific and deservedly so. This restaurant is "high end" indeed, so be prepared for potential sticker shock.
I went there to eat dinner with my family
We’ve been to this chain before at different other states and it all was good.
This time it all started good too. We sat at the table, our waiter was great and his service was amazing
Appetizers tasted good as expected
My daughter said her lobster bisque soup was good
Wedge salad was good too, just had more then expected blue cheese dressing in it
Now the main course
First I just want to say that side dishes we ordered were good. No complains about them. The only disappointing part was that they did not have mushrooms as a side dish which is usually very popular at other good expensive steakhouses
My daughter had lamb chops and said she tasted better ones before
My son had a ribeye steak which was a bit rubbery and difficult to chew
My and my wife ordered a porterhouse for two. This is our favorite steak which we order a lot at the good popular steakhouses, we have been to good places before since we lived for many years in NYC.
Steak was cooked as we ordered medium rear
Filet part tasted good, strip part was also rubbery and harder to chew.
Usually we had no issues with this before and tasted great
Also the size of it was smaller then we expected
Usually they precut this steak and our was too but pieces
were so thick and not well presented on the plate
We used to get better presentation with a little thinner slices at Peter Lugar or Wolfgang’s steakhouse in NY
It tastes even better if served correctly

From the time we were greeted by the hostess until we finished dinner, everything was great!
Really disappointed all around!
1) 3 of us were there, they overcooked ALL our steaks. I hate to make a big deal about food so I didn't and the waiter didn't seem to care at all, even after I told him every steak was overcooked.
2) Bread wasn't even warm. Asked for more bread 4x before he remembered to bring it and it was not warm or hot again! Waiter brings it out saying it's "hot out of the oven".
3) To fix our unhappiness with our steaks, he gave us a free dessert ... gee thanks.
4) Crumbs all over the table and waiter didn't crumb our table once.
5) Their prices went up as well. $60 for a ribeye. I don't mind paying but at least cook my steak to the requested temperature.
6) Quality and Service has gone down severely since pre-covid.

We enjoyed our Easter lunch sitting at one of the best tables in the restaurant. Service was attentive and prompt, food was prepared according to our requests and came out piping hot and full of flavor. This is one of their top locations.
Much like every dining establishment on Easter, there were fellow diners who were not familiar with the mores of fine dining. Despite these amateurs attempting to detract from our dining experience, Jeremy kept our meal on pace and managed to delight us with some extra touches.
Arriving when the restaurant opened at 11, we were treated to a table not previously occupied and thus not possibly contaminated with COVID19. Jeremy and all staff wore masks and we felt quite comfortable with the safety measures.
Had another excellent meal and look forward to returning soon!
Celebrating daughters 18th Birthday. Service was great as was the food, which I always expect from RC. Our bill was $260 including tip for 3 people and no alcohol so that is why I rate the value a little lower. They did give her a free gluten free desert and a nice card for her birthday. She loved it.

Not up to expectations for Ruth's Chris. Boisterous guests (inebriated), one table with sweatpants and ball caps - during evening dining. Steak was good, not great - honestly, seemed more like choice, not prime beef and very little evidence of dry aging. Simply not up to level expected at this price point.

Fantastic experience and the food was amazing! We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and plan to make it an ongoing tradition.
It was our son’s 18th birthday.Everything was wonderful and the service was awesome.
Excellent meal and service. The only complaint we had were the appetizer sizzling crab cakes were not sizzling but then my husband mentioned it and he ordered them for dinner and they were sizzling. The martinis we requested to be extra cold and they were not. Again, we mentioned to our server that we wanted them extra cold when we ordered a second and they were perfect with a layer of ice on top. The waiter shook them himself also for the price of a martini, they should be filled to the top, not an inch below the rim. Other than that, everything was delicious and our service was good. If you want a delicious steak, this is a great choice!
