   Service was absolutely amazing, the steak perfectly cooked and tender, however, the side dishes were not hot at all, even after sending back the second sides were not as hot as they should have been. That is the only downside

   Mother’s Day dinner was not what we had come to expect from Ruth’s Chris! Darden’s new ownership and management seriously impacted upon our experience today. Arrived before our reservation but lady at reception kept answering the phone rather than checking in reservations, proudly announcing to callers that they more than 700 reservations and then politely listened to them before eventually saying that no reservations were available. She asked my name about 5 minutes before our reservation (confirmed twice—even confirmed that we required either a booth or the two well-padded chairs as my wife has had serious spinal surgery), but couldn’t find it; after spelling my name four times, she finally found our reservation (which said either a booth or the one table with we’ll-padded chairs would be acceptable). After 20 minutes (during which some were seated but many were asked to patient), I again inquired as to when we would be seated, and was told that no booth or the one table was available now. I inquired when the couple at the table had been seated and was told 2 hours ago! Another 15 minutes went by, then we were told the restaurant manager was cleaning the table and we would be seated shortly. All this time, my wife was uncomfortably sitting, being jostled by those also delayed. We were seated 40 minutes after our stated time; fortunately we had our favorite regular server. As we walked by the one manager visible, she was leaning against the wall and talking to another server. We declined our normal bottle of sparkling wine (which went from three times retail to more than SIX TIMES retail since Darden took over) and had one 9 oz glass apiece; we immediately placed our entree order (no appetizer). The entrees arrived forty minutes later. Shrimp cocktail (my wife was in pain so she wanted to get home & so didn’t want to wait for a steak) arrived but had NOT BEEN DEVEINED! OVERBOOKED & UNDERSTAFFED! Also, there was no assistant manager and no promotional $25 giftcard!

   Went to Ruth Christ in Ponte Vedra for Mother's Day and everything was awesome. The place was very busy but the hostess did a great job checking people in and getting them seated. The server was also great and although they were extremely busy, everyone was keeping up and all the wait staff were very attentive. As for the food, it too was amazing, steak cooked as requested and we really enjoyed all if it. The special treat wss that they were open early enough for Lunch/brunch. Will definitely be back again. Kudo's to all for making it a dynamite experience and a great Mother's Day!

   Our Porterhouse for 2 came out medium well instead of medium rare, we sent it back and we waited 20 min for a new steak. The other couple we were with finished their meal before ours showed up. The steak was delicious when it was served, however they did not freshen our sides which were cold by the time the steak came out. Our waitress Cat was attentive, no complaints there. The manager never bothered to stop by our table, even though I saw her stopping at other tables checking in and chatting.

   Reservation with wife and 2 kids at 6 pm. Did not get a server to ask us for drink orders until we got up and left at 7 pm. Good food usually but service has now been a pattern of bad service the last 3 times we visited . They need to do better. Management is the isssue.

    Great food and service. Menu choices are good. Wine selections are a bit limited for a restaurant of this stature.
