We celebrated our anniversary and the treatment was very special. Attention to detail and courteous service epitomized our evening.
So much more than just an amazingly delicious meal!! I cannot day enough about our dinner at Ruth’s Chris Pasadena! From the greeting staff to the bar tender to our wait staff we had impeccable service with kindness and care. Francis and Jeremy who took care of us at dinner were above and beyond amazing. I cannot thank them enough for making this night special. The food - do I even need to say?! The steak - melts like butter in your mouth. My shrimp & steak were perfectly seasoned and cooked and I still salivate remembering them! And the fresh strawberry shortcake and chocolate sin were the perfect finish. But the attention to detail - from the birthday confetti on the table to a menu page wishing me a happy birthday to them even writing in chocolate(!!) Happy Birthday on the plate they brought my free birthday cupcake & ice cream on (that cupcake - O M G!!!the frosting is addictive, the cake moist and perfect!) plus the fact we never got the next course til we were ready for it(no piling up), our drinks were never empty, and there always seemed to be someone near by if we needed anything, yet we never felt bothered or watched, made for an unforgettable experience. So much more than just a good meal.
Food and service was great. There was a large party table set up next to us. Considering our reservation was early, we should have been sat away from large party.
They made effort in making our 16th anniversary special. Thank you!
We were celebrating our anniversary, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Our server was friendly and informative about the menu as this was our first time dining at this establishment. The food was excellent and cooked to order, we were treated to a complimentary dessert and glass of champagne. This was a wonderful evening that we will remember.
Awesome steak, veggies, wine, service. But I had fish and I'm 100% positive the chef could've done better. Background music was sophisticated, mellow, very 60's. The crowd was comfortable being there and the room itself is well-considered. Even the calligraphy in chocolate on the dessert was expert. Except for the fish, everything was unceasingly excellent.
Food was amazing. Waitstaff was every friendly and on top of everything.
Excellent service, and the make customized menus for special occasions! Even brought a complimentary dessert and champagne toast for our anniversary.
Our waitress was very kind and understanding. Really made the experience a lot better. We have been to this Ruth's Chris multiple times a year and this was one of the better times.
Three time’s a charm? No. Went to Ruth’s Chris, for what else, a great steak. The 11 oz filet was ordered medium but came out rare. The server took it back. Served a second time and it came back STILL rare—deep red like raspberry jam through the middle from top to bottom. On the third attempt it came back medium well and charred on the outside. (Which is not surprising and pretty much unavoidable: you can’t cook a thick piece of beef three times to try to bring the center up to temperature quickly each time and expect it to turn out well). The worst higher-end steakhouse steak I’ve ever had. Made me wish I had picked Mastro’s or Morton’s or Del Frisco’s instead.
The manager comped the steak part of the bill as a self-described “nice gesture” but really that’s not enough to make me feel better. If I wanted to eat a bad steak on the cheap I would just go to Sizzler. At least I wouldn’t have to wait an hour for that bad steak while my date finishes their meal and twiddles their thumbs. But that’s not what I wanted: I went to Ruth’s for a great steak. I guess I’ll have to wait to find that another night.
Service is always outstanding. Portions were a bit small, delicious but small. Bigger portions would be a plus considering cost. Nonetheless, great time and dinner.
Great ambiance, delicious food, superior service - they were especially attentive after the 7.1 earthquake the shook the entire dining room!
They made it perfect for my mans birthday.
This is a top Pasadena restaurant. Great food & service
Loved our waiter and manager checked in with us as well. Staff observant and responsive.
It was an amazing evening celebrating the retirement of my younger sister. Thank you to all the staff who made the evening wonderful.
Rickey was an amazing waiter! Answered all of our questions and was very attentive!
Great Graduation place for dinner.
Excellent service and food was prepared perfectly.
I took my niece to Ruth’s Chris to celebrate her birthday. The confetti on the table, her personalized menu and of course, her complimentary cake and ice cream made her feel truly special. Our server, Hugo was professional, genuine and charming. She ordered the BBQ shrimp entree and sweet potato casserole and I went for the petite ribeye and creamed spinach. We also celebrated with a variety of cocktails. Everything was delicious and special.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was served at a nice pace. Would recommend a visit.
Everyone we came into contact with was an excellent representative of the company, from the GM Linda Jordan, through our primary server, Tony, to his assistants, including Pedro. They anticipated every need, were extremely efficient, friendly and courteous, and made my wife and me feel like welcomed guests, not just restaurant patrons! And of course, you really can't get a better quality steak or sides than what Ruth's Chris provides.
We've been to this restaurant many times over the years, and have also had several holiday parties for our staff here, and for good reason: Outstanding food, service, ambiance, selection, and to some extent, value. While it's not inexpensive, this is an example of the old saying "you get what you pay for!" HIGHLY recommended, whether for a dinner with friends, family, colleagues, or a "date" night with that significant other!
Great Service, Great food.
Great food with great service
We are regular customers and we have always been extremely satisfied with the attentive service and of course the excellent dishes. However, our last two visits service was a little slow. Our waiter was none the less very attentive, when he finally made it to our table. Also it took some time for us to get our meal. Other than that we will continue to dine at Ruth's.
Waited a long time to be seated, mashed potatoes are cold, paper foil Fell over my plate, bread was brought no better
Service and food was good. There was a lil bug in my drink but other than that it was great.
Great food, great service. Very friendly atmosphere.
Great as always, tasty food and perfect service
Will come back soon
Great food and great service for a birthday celebration!
great bread & steak & service :) I would definitely recommend!
A very sensational experience! You get what you pay for in service, atmosphere, and food. This is a very elegant and high class strakhouse.
Great food as always. Good Service
Came here for fathers day Sunday and place and ambiance is nice, food was okay and decent. I swear everyone hypes and raves about this place so thought I'd give it a try. So we ordered the ribeye, cowboy ribeye, mashed potatoes, lobster mac, spice shrimp, shoe string fries, creme brulee and king ora salmon. Ribeye were ok needs more flavor. I've had way better ribeye than this. The salmon was way over cooked, the lobster mac was mediocre. The best ones were the creme brulee and the spicy shrimp
Overall great experience as the staffs and waiters are up to par, very attentive and friendly.
The meal deal with starter, entree, side and dessert is amazing! Our filets were cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was delightful! The service could not have been better, we are already excited to go back. The food was amazing!
We didn't order any appetizers because we didn't want to ruin our appetite. Usually when my husband and I have gone to Ruth Chris we're always with other people and we're busy eating and talking and not really paying attention to what we're eating. But this time it was just us. He and I were able to taste every morsel and each bite was superb. Not only would I recommend Ruth Chris, but I would recommend not talking and just eating :).
Also, we saw a group of people going into this secret room (Room 500) at the Pasadena location that accommodates diners anywhere from 6 to 12 people. Ask for it if you're celebration and a special occasion.
Great service and food was amazing
Great food and our server Patrick was awesome!
