Took us 20 minutes to get seated. I was advised that it's really busy and I'll get a seat when avaliable even tho I had a reservation. The water cups had a odd smell and had to get changed. The lemon drop we ordered didn't come untill after appetizers. The lobster Mac and cheese was watery and flavorless. Overpriced for service and food. Wished I booked somewhere different to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

I am a frequent guest of Ruth’s Chris, and usually do date night at the Pasadena location. Well last night we had an amazing experience! We were seated in a beautiful booth and we were lucky enough to receive Julia as our server! She was everything Ruth’s Chris stands for and made our night exceptional! She paced out our courses, was always present if we needed something, spent considerable time in conversation with us, on a more personal level. Such an awesome touch and representation of Ruth’s Chris. The food was absolutely delicious! I literally felt like I was having thanksgiving dinner! We started with the spicy, crispy shrimp, and Cesar salads..perfection My steak was undercooked for my taste, but I was able to get a hot butter plate to cook it up…yummy! The sweet potato casserole is to die for and my special request of spinach au gratin is soo good. Our cocktails were perfect as well. Honorable mention: Manager Diego Bella. He always takes the time to come over and make sure things are going well, every time we dine, if he is there, and also spends time with us in conversation. He’s awesome! Excellent server and manager! Great dining experience!

We came in to celebrate 2 birthdays and Ruth's Chris made our dinner a memorable evening. Service was excellent from the time the hostess greeted us at the door to the waiter and restaurant manager who stopped by to check on us at the end of the evening. We ordered the classic cut with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were flavorful complementing the steak. We ordered the creme brulee and cheesecake and the desserts were plated with a Happy Birthday greeting in chocolate. Water glasses were promptly filled and never more than half empty. We haven't been to Ruth's Chris in many years and they made the evening special for the entire family. We will definitely be back, thanks to Edwin and staff.

I would recommend the host and other people working in the front to actually pay attention to people waiting for their table as opposed to catching up with each other as the priority. This restaurant has a lot to offer and that slight adjustment has the chance of making the location in the 5 star category.

Everything was lovely and an impeccable standard of customer service and fine dining. We have not been out since COVID and we were both so grateful for the delightful evening and plan to resurrect our previous dining routine. Thank you so much for the lovely dining experience. Luis and Gary excel at preemptively understanding the needs of their customers and provided the standard to which others will be compared. WOW! What a great dinner. Claudia was our server and she brought warmth and was attentive without being obtrusive. Alec was the server assistant and was wonderful. He had the perfect blend of attentiveness, caring and enthusiasm. You can't teach a positive attitude and that comes through naturally from Alec. Both team members paid attention to detail and helped to make the dinner special. The food is always excellent but I do prefer the previous blend of greens for the steak house salad. The current salad has large pieces that need to be cut in order to eat delicately.

The moment we walked in it began the perfect experience. Both managers were on top of everything. Seating to making sure we were pleased. Then came Kate our person in charge of the meal. Ruth's Chris was one of the few restaurants that allowed online reservations for a party as large as ours, especially for Mother's Day, so I appreciate them making that part easy. Unfortunately, it also meant waiting for our table well after our time slot and inefficient service, where we got our appetizers before anyone had even taken our drink orders. Some tables also got complimentary roses for the moms where we had to ask for ours. Overall, the food is still better than other nearby steakhouses.
