Salmon, delicious! , soup and potatoes warm, not hot, and then cooled off faster because not in hot dishes and food cools off faster at high altitude. Thanks for the special dessert on my birthday, banana cream pie, larger than most can finish in one sitting.
This location is great, parking good, noise level perfectly quiet, ambiance perfect, and the service very good or better. This location doesn't do char on my steaks when I've asked, this is our third time giving it a try. We prefer the one in SLC for this reason. In SLC location we get an extra "experience" feeling about the food when they serve it and it's always exactly as we ask (extra char on the T Bone :O) I still highly recommend if you are up here, a very nice meal. Their shrimp coctail sauce and blue cheese are hand made and delicious and their chocolate duo for dessert... I want to come just for that somedays, their pots de creme and lava chocolate cake mmm...
Dined here with a couple that was visiting us. Our server Morgan was very professional and attentive. Two of us had the bone-in filet and it was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and desserts as well as the atmosphere. Request the U shaped booths for a party of 4-6, they are well designed to give you a little privacy while being in the middle of the restaurant.
Park City Ruth Chris is the place to be during Sundance......and any other time of the year as well. It keeps the Ruth Chris brand as one of our favorite, dependable restaurant offerings. The food is great....but during events like Sundance, it is clearly the most dependable place for fun people watching as well.
It was our last night in Park City and we wanted to have a really nice dinner and a great steak. Ruth's Chris fulfilled both. The service by Elliott was excellent and so was the food. It was great that we had a few minutes between the salad and the main course and then between the main course and the dessert. We had an excellent time as we always do when we visit a Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Great meal, great service! My lamb chops were perfect as were the petite filet and surf and turf entrees. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and creamed spinach as our side dishes and they were equally delicious. Our server, Chris, was awesome! He knew the menu really well and gave us recommendations. He was professional but fun and personable as well. Truly a great experience.
I normally absolutely love Ruth Chris. My wife and I probably go 5-6 times a year. This location unfortunately was pretty lacking. The food just wasn't that hot or up the par I am used to from them. My barbeque shrimp was not hot and needed salt which ive never had happen before. In short $185 for a quick dinner for two on the way to the airport wasn't the great cap to our vacation we expected.
We had a lovely dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Since we had eaten at other of the chain’s restaurants before, we knew what to expect from the menu: good steaks. What made our meal so great was our server, Holly and her assistant (sorry we missed his name). She was gracious and attentive without being intrusive. When we are back in Park City, we will certainly return to RC, and we will request Holly!
The house salad was just mesclun and a few grape tomatoes. Some of the lettuce pieces were wilted and beginning to break down (dark green and slimy). You could tell that the lettuce was stored in a too-cold fridge because a couple of pieces Had ice crystals in them.
The roasted asparagus looked like they had been reheated because they were very wrinkly and mushy. Portion for sides was small as well. The mashed potatoes were mediocre.
The filets were fine and the service was good. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly.
Overall, the prices are too high for the quality that you get. Very disappointing.
Not very impressive considering the prices they charge. Took a while for our server to greet us.
It seemed apparent that our order was misplaced since tables sat after us were served. We were in no hurry so did not bother us. But they obviously wanted to get our order out and when the steaks arrived, my husbands (who had ordered medium) filet was completely raw.
Crab cake appetizer was just ok..not what I would expect from high end restaurant.
Like I said, everything was good, but I would expect more from a Ruth's Chris.
Skip this hotel and steak house. We confirmed our reservation in person earlier and noticed a horrible odor in the entry way of the restaurant - either from the lobster tank or from the clothes used to wipe tables. My husband had a piece of plastic in his Caesar salad (the corner of a plastic bag) and our potatoes in our side dish were under cooked. The wine list is good and the staff is friendly. However, a huge disappointment.
Excellent cuisine as you would expect from Ruth Chris. There is no such thing as an ordinary steak in this restaurant—- rib eye is our favorite. Very attentive wait staff and management. Elliott was exemplary. Whole experience made for a wonderful anniversary night out. We’ll be back.
Really quite disappointed with Ruth Chris. It had been a while since I've been to this chain, knew it was going to be expensive but wanted to treat my son out to a great steak after an awesome day of skiing. We were shown to sort of the back to the restaurant, nice Christmas decorations, but ambiance was limited unfortunately. Service was good, although three people introduced themselves as the waiter/waitress and no explanation when table changed hands. The most disappointing was the steak, $50 for a steak is sort of what you would expect at Ruth Chris, but what I did not expect was a steak that was poorly trimmed with lots of grisel. Literally had to trim the steak while I was trying to eat it and ended up with 1/2 plate of fat and grisel and a poor experience when all was said and done. I'm not an overly picky person and seldom leave bad reviews, but for over $200 for two people with only two glasses of wine Ruth Chris needs to deliver more here to get my return business and hopefully the chef and crew can find better selection of beef.
I went here with my girlfriend for my birthday dinner and this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly and the trio dipping sauce were great. I highly recommend it as the black truffle porcini butter went very well with the ribeye.
