Ruth's Chris Steak House - Hotel Park City Ratings and Reviews
They are good at taking a reservation, bad at fulfilling it. The 3 hostess's looked like deer caught in your headlights. Clueless!!
Value definitely not there. Could they put something else on plate besides meat - a sprig of parsley perhaps?
Will never go there agai
This is the best RC that we have ever dined at. Our steaks and lamb chops were perfectly prepared, sides were delicious, and they offered amazing dessert selections. We had the cheesecake and it was prepared/served in the most creative way. The chef here is top-notch. The servers we had (we dined both nights of our stay in the hotel) were exceptional, including their assistants. Highly recommend this location.
Could have been better. Some guy apparently (maybe pretended) to choke and they decided to perform the Heimlich maneuver basically in our dining room. He was hacking and gagging, and then cursing at the waitstaff, dropping f-bombs and demanding to see the hotel manager. When it got quiet, I noticed sheriff's deputies walking through the restaurant and then hurrying out the back door appearing to apprehend someone. There were flashlights and the entire dining room seemed very disturbed by this display. Not the best birthday I've ever had!
This is a steak joint with good seafood. The service is good, the organization and execution is spot on. We eat at Ruth's at least 12 times a year. It is expensive, but meals can be split and corkage is $15 a bottle. The views of the ski mountain and golf course are stunnng. This is my favorite Ruth's Chris.
This Ruth Chris has always been one of our favorite places to go for a special night out or just getting together with PC friends. It has always been consistently very good to excellent, which you would expect from a Ruth Chris. That was not the case on this visit. The service in the dining room was poor and the food was average, actually below average for Ruth Chris. It took a long time to be waited on, and we had to ask the server more than once to get something that we needed. Granted, the server seemed to have a lot of tables and he was clearly under pressure scurrying from one table to the next. He gave us a reason for not being as attentive as he should have been that didn't make sense...something about it being cooler outside, so some people who had booked the patio came inside. Yet, when we left, the patio was very busy, at least half full. Also, if his reason was true, the person that was supposed to be serving those people on the patio should have then been helping our server inside. I complained that the sweet potato casserole (typically one of my favorites) was very dry and not up to par. The waiter said he'd be out with a replacement, which never came. To his credit, he did not charge us for it.
Not the Ruth's Chris experience we are used to. RC is one of our favorite steakhouses and we have eaten had quite a few around the country. This was disappointing. Drinks were small and over-priced. Steak was not as flavorable and it was tough. Just not what we expect from Ruth's Chris, especially for the price
After spending the week on vacation eating at Park City's finest restaurants, Ruth's Chris came in at the TOP of the list. From the specialty cocktail, to the fine wine and of course superb steak preparation, everything about our dining experience was top notch. In addition, our server Holly was the BEST!
The service was mediocre at best. Scott forgot our drink order and had to come back to ask us again. We asked to split a salad, they brought one salad no extra plate. We had to ask someone else for an extra plate. The 8 oz filet came as a 6 oz filet. We noted that to the server and he brought the right size filet. Our sweet potato casserole was way over done and definitely NOT worth the money! We have loved going to dinner there but this makes us want to never go back!
Fantastic experience! We had our anniversary dinner here and they made every effort to help us celebrate our evening. The service was great. Their presentation on each of the courses was very good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were done very well. Thanks to all their staff! Their attention to all the details was exceptional.
I frequent Ruth Chris Steak House in many locations and this was by far the most disappointing. The restaurant was hot, the plates were not 500 degrees and the service was terrible. I had to refill our glasses with wine and we had to ask for water refills. The table crumbs were not cleaned up and the filet didn't have that usual buttery taste. Our bill was close to $400.00 and it was not worth it. Very disappointing!
The food was excellent as always. My steak was over cooked at first. I let my server know who whisked it away and a few minutes later, a new better steak was brought back perfectly cooked. I always leave thinking I've had the best steak ever...until I come back.
