Amazing service and food!

Birthday dinner and the food was great and service was very good . RECOMMEND this restaurant for all ocassions.

Ruth's Chris is known for consistently serving high quality food. Service is also professional, friendly and efficient. Combine that with a superior atmosphere and you have all the ingredients needed for a very pleasurable dining experience.

Great as usual.

The restaurant held my reservation. (My private plane was late). They held it an hour and half. ( I did call them to let them know). We arrived an hour before closing and they still did not rush us. They did everything to much sure our evening was special.

It was my birthday and they made it so special. I got a menu that had happy Birthday Marjean at the top. How nice was that. They also took a picture of me and my husband.

The food is always fantastic and the ambiance is beautiful.

We went for my wife’s birthday. We had excellent service and wonderful food.

First time at this location - entire meal was fabulous. Service top shelf. Ambiance a tad cool for palm Desert but still pleasant. Bread pudding and cappuccino was the perfect ending.

Excellent food and service. Chopped salad divine and steak cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Perfectly cooked Steak and Wonderful Dessert! The Special with Salad, entree with side and dessert is the way to go!

Steaks never disappoint and the sides are perfect to share.

This was the first time since dining at Ruth Chris both in Palm Desert and Pasadena that I will be critical of the food (my husbands steak) and of the seating in a very small booth having requested what I presumed to be an adult size booth. It was a 5:15 reservation so I think we could have been given betting seating. Anyway, we had the dinner special, my filet was very good, the sides were good also, but he ordered a ribeye medium and charred, it was grizzled, not fatty, not charred and he was not happy. If we are going to spend $170 (tip included in that), we will not order the special again. BTW, when we parked there was a dinner table, chairs and table cloth piled up against the side of the building, not very classy. The server and assistant were very good.

The food was great, the steak was cooked to perfection and others are delicious. Service was great! The waiters (Leanne and Joe?) served us pretty well. Ambiance was wonderful. The price is too high for a dinner out.

Excellent food

As always the food is Great and our server Mark is always first class (thanks for making us feel special Mark) the only reason I gave 4 stars for value is because, while I believe the food to be excellent it is still, in my opinion, a bit pricey. 3 steaks (two of which were petite) one salad, 3 sides and one cocktail $265.0 for 3 (ouch).

Wait staff was great and food was delicious. The restaurant was a bit dark.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We enjoyed delicious meals and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse couldn't be any better as far as food, service and ambience. It is a very special place to celebrate a special occasion in our lives. Thank you to all who make it so.

Fantastic evening at Ruth’s Chris in Palm Desert. This restaurant gets it spot on where the service is attentive without being smothering, food is varied and top quality. We were served by Yazmin and Angel who were what I would expect from a place like this we all had steaks from the Ruth’s classic menu and all were delicious. We always make a trip here when we are in the desert and it never disappoints. Would highly reccomend.

The service was very attentive. The food was delicious. The portions were large. The prix fix menu was the way to go because otherwise it is quite pricey. It was still on the very high end of what we like to spend normally. The portions were so large I took home enough for another meal! This would be a good place for a special occasion!

Usually love Ruth's Chris, but this is the 2nd visit in a row where service was not up to par. It took 20 minutes to get our bottle of wine and the steaks were brought to our table while we were still enjoying our salads. The waiter had several other tables and it felt as if serving our table was simply an afterthought. Probably my last visit to what used to be my favorite steakhouse in the desert.

The food was pepased just as ordered and the steaks were juicy and full of flavor. Perfect! The occasion was our anniversary and they really made it special. They made our celebration memorable.

Definitely over rated. Main course came out cold, something that should never have happened. Ordered many sides and drinks, you think the wait staff could have offered a comp drink or side for the inconvenience of having to wait for them to heat the entrée.See

My husband and I chose Ruth's Chris for our anniversary dinner. We made reservations through Open Table and it asked us if the reservation was for a special occasion and I answered "anniversary." When we arrived, the hostess greeted us by wishing us happy anniversary, and our server did as well. Our menus had an anniversary wish printed on them. There were small red hearts sprinkled on our table. It was very nice. The food and service were wonderful. The steaks were sizzling on hot plates and my husband said that the sweet potatoes were so good he felt like he was eating dessert! They brought us our dessert on a plate that had Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! Then the waitress took our photo and printed it and put it in a keepsake frame for us. How nice is that?? We appreciate the kindness and we will be back!!

My partner and I went to celebrate my birthday. We were staying in downtown Palm Springs and it took us about 20 minutes to drive out to Ruth Chris, but it was so worth it. They have ample parking with complementary valet. They seated us in a romantic, comfortable booth. From the moment we sat down, we felt comfortable and welcome. All of the service team worked together to make it a truly memorable experience. Our food came out promptly starting with a delicious bowl of lobster bisque. Then, the filet and shrimp were served to perfection, hot and fresh. Our sides of creamed spinach and mashed potato were wonderful, as well as our Riesling that accompanied our meal. The dessert was an apple mini with ice cream, amazing. We will definitely be returning! Wonderful experience!

The experience was a disappointment. I will not be returning to this chain.

We had a late night get together with a friend and needed a place to; 1. Eat and 2. Chat. Ruth Chris’ was able to take a reservation for 9:15pm at 8:30! What I hadn’t realized was they close at 10:09pm. When you get to talking time flies as we all know, and by the time we left it was closer to 11pm. The staff was more than accommodating and just let us go on about our meal. The experience was as good or better than it always is at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse and the Palm Desert location was excellent.

Dan our server was great and helped us pick wines as we were visiting from the UK.
Great food, lamb chops some of the best I have ever eaten and the staff went the extra mile in helping my wife to locate a florist in the area for when we pay a visit tomorrow.

10th Anniversary. Staff was amazing. District Manager was present and was personable and great. Server Ryan was the great. We can afford to go to any high end steakhouse and we prefer the consistence of Ruth’s Chris. Can’t wait to go again.

We celebrated my birthday at Ruth Chris in Palm Desert. The waiter, Michael, was the best. He was very welcoming and after bringing our drinks to the table, gave us plenty of time to enjoy the drinks and conversation. When we decided to order our dinners, he was helpful with suggestions. The other staff members who helped were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than our reservation (uber was very fast) and we were seated immediately.

The steaks were absolutely wonderful. My Cowboy ribeye was to die for and my wife's filet outstanding.

I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Thought the service was just ok waited too long between salad and entree. Very pricey would rather go to LG’s
