The best experience I have had in a long long time. It was our anniversary, we loved the extra attention, especially the rose petals on the table. The food was perfect ! The sides were great. The filet and lobster perfectly cooked. My Ribeye presented a perfect Medium Rare. I highly recommend asking for Pinto to be your server. The timing was perfect, he was very personable and attentive without being obtrusive. He helped us make our choices on the menu and everything was spot on. Everyone we came in contact with made us feel welcome, a true team effort to make our meal memorable. You can certainly tell good management as EVERY employee was well trained. From the Hostess, bussers, food runners all seamed to click. Thank you Pinto and Angel, the busser (and the entire staff) for making our dinner wonderful !

Celebrating our Anniversary at Ruth’s Chris started with rose petals on the table and a “Happy Anniversary” menu - very nice. Waitress was great - but kitchen maybe lost our dinner order. Waitress and manager both came by to apologize, offered another drink. When meals finally did come out, one of the orders was wrong - I know this sounds bad, but the way both the manager and waitress handled it was very professional. As we went to pay our bill we were informed that our neighbors had paid our bill! Well, almost - they had paid a portion, but the waitress was so embarrassed by her mistake, the manager paid for the rest our our bill! All in all a very enjoyable meal - definitely one to remember!! Ruth’s Chris Palm Desert management and staff are the reason it is a 5 star restaurant!

We celebrated Mother's Day at Ruth's a week late due to circumstances beyond our control. The evening was very enjoyable and the food and service were great. Ruth's is the only restaurant that I know of were a Bone-in Filet is available and it was tender, juicy, cooked to perfection (Rare plus) and full of flavor.

Waiter missed one steak when inputting our order. Then another steak was delivered raw in the center. They did discount from the bill but dinner was ruined. Second time at this location with similar out come. Will not be going back.

I will never return to this restaurant. It was noisy, and the food was not good. My daughter received a salad with an eyelash on the plate. Because we like our steaks rare, we ordered them without the 500 degree plate, as in our experience it cooks more. When I told the server the steak was cold, he actually had the nerve to tell me it was because we ordered it without the hot plate! I’ve had thousands of rare steaks that were hot on the outside, warm in the center. There is far too much competition out there to give customers this type of experience. Update: I lowered my rating because someone from the restaurant reached out on Open Table asking for my contact info. I provided it in the hope that there might be something done to make up for this terrible experience, but it’s been 3 days and I’ve heard nothing!

Overall experience was excellent. We arrived 10 min. early and we’re taken right to our table. We’re introduced to Hector Jr. Our waiter. I have eaten in many places over the years Hector Jr. was top 1 or 2 all time for personality, recommendation of what items on menu were, and his suggestion of why we might like this item over another item. Bread and drinks arrived promptly. Food arrived and it was everything we expected and more. Manager checked in on us twice and everyone wished my wife Happy Birthday. Top that off with a scrumptious dessert and it was a special experience. Thank you.

Ruth's Chris Steak House was a first experience. We were in Palm Desert for Leisure time and heard good stuff about the steak house, so we went and dine. The service was moderate thought the servers and management would be more responsive than expected. It took over 5 minutes for our server to be located in order for him to come to our table, so we could finally place place our order. The food was excellent and it topped the lack of service by the staff. Would we go again probably not to Palm Desert.

Was busy, poor service, noisy. Restaurant employees were pushy, running into guests as isles are too narrow. They need to take out a few tables for better traffic flow!

Ruth’s Chris has always been my favorite steak house. The food is out of this world, the ambience is very inviting and the service is superb. It does, however, seem to be getting pricier than it used to be and it was was quite pricey before. Because of that, it’s now more of a special occasion restaurant.

We were so disappointed - our filets were very tough and not up to Ruth’s Chris standard. The baked potato was dry and over-baked. Our server, Leeann, would say something to us, but continued walking by our table as she was talking. She also made us feel rushed and seemed put out when we asked for more sour cream for our potato. Ernesto, did a great job. He stopped at our table when he saw we were looking for our server and asked if we needed something.

So disappointed has been a year since dinning here at the palm desert location . Have had a second home in palm desert for over 50 years will not return . Last time dinning one year ago and during the covid was wonderful. What a change in food and presentation ask for the salad to be chopped (did not happen) asked for the baked potato to come with sour cream and chives on the side came with butter sour cream along with the chives on the potato ( took it back and brought out a potato like we requested in the first place there side of sweet potato casserole was dry and taste less ask for two glasses of the house Cabernet did not enquire as to the cost ( should have each glass was 22.00 per the check looked at our previous bill from last year and the same wine was priced at 11.00 dollars per glass no doubt inflation roared it’s ugly head. What brought us back was the gift cards from costco. Bad investment. Suggest management take a trip several blocks away at Mastros and see how a steak house is run. Good luck

As always, food was very good. Service was ok. More checking in after food was delivered, would have been better.

It would of been a 5 star but the waiter forgot to charge the credit card that I provided over the phone to surprise my parent’s anniversary.
