This was our fifth or sixth visit to Ruth's Chris Ocean City/Berlin and we always come away very impressed. The surroundings and ambiance are excellent but what's most outstanding are the food and the service. I've always ordered one of the various ribeye offerings medium rare and they are always perfect. Do not order the Tomahawk unless you have the appetite of a lumberjack, or expect and are prepared to take some of it home for later. I'm a big guy who likes a big steak and the cowboy ribeye is usually the ideal portion for me. We like the a la carte sides because we try to stay away from potatoes, pasta, and breaded items due to the carbs. I can indulge with the beef then just have a salad and broccoli, green beans, or asparagus, and finish the meal comfortably full but not stuffed. It's also worth mentioning that there is no finer Caesar salad to be found anywhere, always on request correctly prepared to include the anchovies required for authenticity. My wife always loves the seafood or petite filet that she chooses. Finally, I cannot say enough in praise of the staff. The servers are experts in every aspect of the menu and can discuss the ingredients and preparation in whatever detail one might wish to learn. One visit several years ago being invited back to the kitchen by the chef to see the high temperature broilers at work was a real treat. FIVE STARS!

We shared the luscious crab cake appetizer. It went well with our Tito's Cosmo and Makers Mark Manhattan. We both had Filet (6 oz) and Lobster tail (8 oz). Both were cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin were the perfect accompaniments. From the host to our server, all the staff were professional and helpful.

Food was excellent. Service was great to begin. However, server misunderstood that 3 of our 6 diners each ordered fillets and instead brought one fillet to be shared amongst the three. He immediately placed the additional order for two upon learning the mistake. The three split the fillet in the meantime. However, after this mistake, seems like the server disappeared and continually attended to the other tables instead of coming back to our table. Ultimately the two additional steaks were boxed up to go. We were celebrating two graduations which were mentioned during the reservation but no mention by the server or assistants. Oddly enough, another diner stopped by to congratulate the graduates. Food was excellent- service not so much.

The service was the best I have ever experienced. They were extremely professional, kind, courtesy and very attentive. The food was beyond my expectations. Well worth the money I spent. My fiancee was very pleased and I am now on the hook to take her to Ruth Chris at least 6 times a year. I will be more then happy to do that.

We had an amazing experience at the Berlin location. We were celebrating our son’s 15th birthday and had a private area in the card room. He felt extra special and our waitress and servers made it even better. The food was amazing and he even had a special birthday dessert. It was the perfect birthday dinner for our boy and he hopes it will become a yearly tradition!

I ordered Sangria for a cocktail. I have had much better Sangria out of a can. It was terrible. I ordered a salad with shrimp. The salad part was good but the shrimp while had a nice flavor were over cooked. The sweet potatoes looked like they had sat in the warmer too long. The other people in my party did not seem to be as dissatisfied as I was with their food. The service was slow. Every time the waiter approached the table he reminded us not to touch the plates when he brought the steak out. I had not been to Ruth's Chris for about 6 years and I don't need to go for another 6 years.

Excellent service and the Eastern Shore Ribeye was amazingly good. We had the Seafood Tower as well - quite impressive. The restaurant is in a historic building which our server happily described. Great experience.

I'd not been to Ruth's Chris for several years. The steak and sides were top notch, just as I remembered. The French onion soup, however was a huge disappointment! Lukewarm at best. Service was good, not as good as past visits, though.

From the time you enter the restaurant the hosts welcome you with a warm greeting and smile. Over 10 years we have dine at this location of Ruth's Chris and have come to love the atmosphere and the amazing staff. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated. On the OpenTable reservations you are able to customize your needs and request a particular server . In my opinion all the servers are great. It is always great to have the manager John to stop by our table for a warm greeting and smile. The dinning experience will be one you will remember due to the wonderful food, cocktails and staff. We will continue to visit for years to come now that we have moved to the area. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!!

We went for our anniversary for a special dinner and we were not disappointed. The steak is the best I have ever eaten. The service was amazing. If you are looking for an experience to celebrate a special day, this is the place to be.

Butter lovers rejoice… if you like butter this is the place. I swear they served a whole stick of butter on our steaks and the mashed potato side. It was really quite disgusting. We were trying to do anything to get the butter fat taste out of our mouths. The steak quality was great, mine was underdone to rare in some parts and the other one was well done, ordered medium. The mashed potatoes had way too much garlic and butter. Quite inedible! However, the sweet potato dish was good, but still had a good amount of butter flavor, but was by far the best dish. We were disappointed by this visit and definitely were not happy. The only good thing about this place was the ambience and service, which was top notch. The steak was great quality but ruined by the over abundance of butter, literally bubbling on the hot plate that it was served on for minutes after. The food was definitely not up to par for an establishment that charges $70 for a steak!!!

Our steak was ordered medium rare. It came out very rare. We sent it back and it then came out medium well. My wife and I cut my losses and just ate it. To the waiters credit he did offer new sides which we declined. Additionally we were sat within talking distance of the kitchen. Hearing ‘corner’ all through dinner ruins the ambience.

Fantastic service, great location and historical significance. View limited to a wall and the building's construction. Post & beam. old barn, very well decorated. As always, the steak was very good, the lamb chops slightly under cooked with a lot of fat. Hordorves, mushrooms stuffed with crab, uneventful, to much butter and lacking flavor except for mushrooms.

This place is amazing. Great service staff. My wife ordered a soup that she didn't careful and not only did they give her another option but also gave it to her for free. There was plenty of parking and it was just an amazing experience. I've been here at least 4 times for different reasons and all were great. Went on an anniversary and got a free cake. Place actually has an upstairs but haven't been there yet. The atmosphere is wonderful. We were actually late you a graduation dinner and they stayed open and waited for us. I have never had a bad experience at this location. Food is usually top notch. Drinks are perfect. The Tomahawks are out of this world. Every steak I had was cooked to perfection. They even let you select your own cutlery. Sides are big enough to share. Not pricey when you see what you get.
