My fiancé and I had an absolutely incredible night thanks to our waiter, Myron, and the whole staff. Thank you so much for making our night so special.
I usually love this restaurant but this time I had a fly in my salad and my steak had to be sent back because it was under done.
They did pay for 1 round of 2 drinks and took the salad off the bill.
My wife and I had our 52nd wedding anniversary diner at Ruth's Chris Steak House on the north side of Indianapolis. It would have been impossible to have had a better dining experience. The staff was so nice and the steak was the best I've ever had. We have been there twice and will definitely go again. I highly recommend it.
First thing me at this restaurant for guests with me. From moment we arrived bed we were greeted and acknowledged . Emily our server was magnificent from moment we met her until we left! Very quick efficient service -always there and helpful ! Wish more restaurants had staff this helpful and efficient ! Fabulous dining experience will advise others to dine there
Great Food and Service
The service was spectacular and the food was prepared exactly as desired. A wonderful evening and the Sunday night live music in the bar area made the evening even better!
Dupree is a great server, pays attention to detail....awesome!!
The food was outstanding and our waiter, Kyle, did a great job. It was a great experience and we will definitely return!
Ruth’s used to be our go to. However, their lack of consistency & average steaks has made them way overrated! Steaks weren’t anything special. Best think was the charred cauliflower.
Always a great experience!
Anniversary dinner. Sat on patio on beautiful evening. Everything was terrific!
Steak was dry and not flavorful. Longhorn steakhouse has better steak.
Our server could have been better versed in wine and the wine list.
Excellent dining at Ruth's Chris! Filet, crab cakes and dessert (Chocolate Duo) were amazing. Sirloin was delicious but filet will beat it out every time. Food is pricey but hard to find anything similar. Wine was very fairly priced and large selection.
Celebrates my grandmothers birthday. We had a good time
Great experience and will return
Excellent service and food. We were seated in one of the smaller rooms which was nice since we were celebrating our anniversary. Ben was our server and he was extremely personable and did a great job. Rose petals on our table was appreciated.
Great food and service as usual. Brandon, our server, was excellent. I have been here about a half dozen times, and I will return with no hesitation .
Great food and service as always
It had been a couple years since we had been to Ruth's Chris. One of our favorite dishes was always the mashed potatoes, which were always creamy and delicious. However, this time, there were huge chunks of potatoes (bigger than bite-size). We asked if the recipe had changed, and the waiter said it had not. He took them back and brought us new. The new ones were better, but not like we remembered and still had chunks.
Both my wife and I ordered a petite filet cooked medium. Hers was cooked correctly, but mine was over cooked, with almost no pink. I did not complain to the waiter, because I had already complained about the potatoes.
Everything else was good.
The food and atmosphere was perfect to spend time with my husband
Excellent dining experience as always. Food is always predictable and delicious. Myron is a top notch waiter. We are frequent Ruth’s Chris diners and will continue to return. Northside Ruth’s Chris is the best in he entire US—we have been to quite a few across the nation.
Birthday included special complimentary desert on a Happy Birthday plate. Nice touch to a classy evening.
The experience was totally different then the one I had in nj. I was taken to the one in NJ because it had been three years since I had been in New Jersey so this was suppose to be a great great. I will say that the atmosphere and ambiance in New Jersey did not compare to the one in Indiana. I lived the ambiance in Indiana more than I did the one in New Jersey. That being said. Let’s talk about the food. I distinctly remember two things about both places, the bread pudding and wine. The bread pudding was very rich and decadent. The wine was sweet with a hint of zest from citrus and flavors of peach. The steak I purchased was close to one hundred dollars and came out cut in New Jersey, but asked if I wanted cut in Indiana. The steak by far in Indiana was non comparatively in any way to the steak I had in New Jersey. It was a bit burnt and since this was a business meal, I only recommended the wine, bread and for dessert, of coarse the bread pudding. I cannot forget to mention, both places had delicious calamari with this type of sweet chili sauce lightly coated as not to disturb the perfectly fried calamari. The waitress was wonderful in Indiana and in New Jersey as well. I think the best thing there is the bread pudding, the featured carrot cake at the Indiana location was not good at all. Overall I think this place should be rated around a 3.9 lower scaled due to the cost and the steak. If you pay almost 100 dollars for a steak it should be perfect. Yet the environment is nice and a great place to hold a dinner meeting or even a very romantic date.
It was fantastic. The service was superb and the food delicious. Everyone was friendly and made you feel right at home. We will go again in the near future.
The steaks were fantastic. Servers were excellent.
It was a nice night out being waited on.
We'll be back.
Just ok. Not great service, didn’t feel special.
Ruth's Chris is an upscale restaurant steak house. We chose it because of location. We were staying at a nearby hotel and after drinking a bottle of wine we chose Ruth Chris because it was within walking distance. The food was good, no doubt. We had a filet and salmon. The ambiance was relaxing. There was not the chaos we have noted at other busy steak houses. My husband's glass of wine was $18 which was quite high for us. It guess to summarize, the food is very good but not absolutely amazing but the bill WILL be amazing. The service was good, again not superior. We had a very, very nice time but the wow factor only arrived with the bill.
Great service and good food!
Awesome food and service! Definitely going back!
Amazing! We preferred this location over the downtown Ruth’s Chris!
Wasnt bad, just for the money it was not any different than could be had somewhere else for half the money. Now i know. Dont want to be negative just honestly not impressed. Was amused by the surrounding guest on their first date complianing about their Ex's as a common conversation topic of choice. I guess this may had been a turn off as well. Such a sad crowd! Was a date killer! Happily married 12 years and counting!
You never disappoint! Adam our waiter and all of the wait staff were awesome!
We enjoyed dining at the northside Ruth Chris celebrating our special occasions, a special birthday and a 20th wedding anniversary. The calamari was the freshest and best we have ever tasted. Our steaks were so yummy and scrumptious. My husband's swordfish was delicious. The sides were well prepared, how can you not like lobster mac and cheese (?), and it was fun to share family style. We enjoyed the people watching and saw several families, prom celebrations, and couples there. The dessert was to die for, who wouldn't like a bananas foster cheesecake with a scoop of ice cream? The service crew was amazing and attended to every last detail, while respecting our privacy to celebrate privately. We can not wait to go back again.
A great experience! Went for the first time to this location and service was outstanding, food was amazing, and the atmosphere was extremely comfortable.
*update** from my last post ...I spoke with a manger and decided to give this location another try ...my experience was wonderful and the food was amazing A+ we will definitely be back :)
My filet was excellent, and our server was prompt and courteous. We will return to this location and would like to dine on the lower level of the restaurant.
The bananas foster cheesecake could use some improvement.
Great service and food. However, cost appears inflated.
We had a wonderful waiter but everything else was mediocre. I know head lettuce pretty boring but the wedge was unremarkable. Not enough dressing so he brought more, one part of the lettuce was brownish, the bacon bits had a burnt flavor, not a pleasant burnt flavor. I asked for some red onions which he brought and that made it a bit more palatable. We both had the filet Oscar from the bar menu, for the first time it wasn't very good. It didn't have much flavor and was served medium instead of MR. We didn't say anything about that so that is our fault but we'd already complained, slightly, about the wedge. That filet is quite small and usually nothing is left, there was 1/3 of it left which I took home and gave the dog. The desert was underwhelming. We always LOVED the chocolate lava cake. We split the chocolate Duo and left 1/2 of it on the plate. The outside of the chocolate cake part was room temperature and the inside was barely warm. The whole night was a bit of a disappointment although the waiter, Adam I think, was very nice and the wine was delicious.
Amazing in every way!!! There were 3 of us and we all ordered something different. We all went home very happy and satisfied. Service was excellent as well.
