My wife and I were in Niagara for our 15th anniversary and looking for a great steakhouse. Fantastic food and experience. Incredibly overpriced. First and only time we'll go there.
Good reliable steak and service! Close to hotels. Nice ambiance.
The table next to us was very loud and constantly used foul language. It ruined our anniversary dinner.
The atmosphere and food were awesome. We were from out of town and celebrating a birthday. Out server, Penny was great!
Worst Restaurant ever! Poor service for the guest! No atention whatsoever, had reservation at 8:30 never got a table, waited for 1 hour and 10 mins and left.... every time we asked for time wait, they kept saying 20 mins more.
Basically if you are with kids and family to celebrate
A B-day you are not taken seriously, if you go with "coupons and not so nice people" you get a table!
Very bad experience, never going back!
Staff was very friendly. The additional seating in the restaurant was very weird. It reminded me of what a French house of ill repute would look like. A booth big enough for 2 with curtains that could be pulled shut (unless you were claustrophobic )why ? We ordered a 5 course meal. The entree's were delicious. Unfortunately the waiter forgot to order our 2 sides, so we cancelled them because it wasn't appealing to eat a sweet potato casserole and brussel sprouts on their own. We were given a 20% discount off the price of the sides. We gave a discount coupon to the waiter when seated, but he forgot to take $100 off of the bill. Which he did after we brought it to his attention. Waiter was very nice & he might have been having an OFF day. Unfortunately, when you pay $457.00 for dinner, you expect a better experience.
Way over priced. Unbelivable. 90$ for a 4oz piece of steak. 50$ for appetizer. Crazy prices. Service was excellent. But outrageous prices will not bring me back again.
Undercooked au gratin was starchy and too firm. Steak was ordered medium rare, and half was, but half was medium. Broccoli was perfect. First two wine choices were out of stock, and the recommended replacement options were not ideal. The first was more than twice the price, and the second was ok, but not as nice as the first choices would have been.
I could not believe how expensive this place was! The entrees don't even come with any sides and the sides are ridiculously expensive. Even with $100 gift card our dinner was way more expensive then going to the keg where you get more, better quality food at the keg in my opinion. I would not waste the time or money (even with a voucher) for this experience!
250$ supper for 2 adults worth one drink each. Food was good but not worth that
Great food ! Over priced experienced great cuisine at a third of the cost. Once but never again. As the saying goes get them once but get them good!
the food and service was great, but waiting time for table was a little too long. Good place for special occasion. Significantly more expensive than the other Ruth's Chris.
Very nice Great service, but felt the food and drinks were very overpriced
Lauren m. Was our server. Absolutely perfect, she was wonderful. Food was superb but pricey. Best beef you will ever taste.
Always a great time! We will go again. Great location
Great place to celebrate special occasions. Lamp chops are excellent and goes well with Brussels sprouts. Thank you Andrew your exceptional service!
We were celebrating our Anniversary.
This restaurant never disappoints. Always great food and great service. We had the pleasure of having Kent serve us and he was fabulous. My only complaint is that I left my sweater behind and when I came back later to retrieve it .. it was no where to be found ... guess an employee decided they liked it !
You know it will be pricey, but it's usually worth it. Last night was worth it.
We've come here for dinner this times because we've received the coupon from the hotel with the booking. Foods are great but very pricey even after the discount. It's ok for special occasion. My server Penny was very friendly and helpful.
Food took a little long to prepare but overall, the new renovations were amazing.
Food did not match the price. Extremely expensive menu, but food value was less.
We didn't realize the niagara menu would cost so much more than Toronto - there was literally a $60 difference in the rib eye pricing. We had a $250 gift card and the whole process of getting it sorted out took about 40 minutes. They didn't want to honour it at first and told us we had to figure it out ourselves because there was a validation issue. It baffled our mind that WE had to figure out THEIR system for them! So there we were calling the customer service line who told us there should be no issues processing the gift card. The entire process was a nightmare and put a huge damper on the entire experience. Towards the end, Andres, one of the managers helped us process the gift card (which we were thankful for). Our waitress was nice but other than that, I won't ever go back. Terrible customer service towards the end.
This was my second time at this location. The staff are amazing, so friendly & professional. Service was wonderful. Our server was Penny, she was excellent! One of our steaks was over cooked, they were very apologetic and did everything they can to make up for it. Yes prices are a little on the higher end (but you know this going to Ruth's Chris) , they should maybe consider not charging a side of steamed broccoli the same as all the other sides for instance - but all round very delicious food and spectacular service. Their Cheese Cake and the Creme Brulee are amazing by the way! We shared among 4 people it was perfect.
Will definitely be back!
Delicious food but extremely over priced compared to other locations
The food was just ok. The steak was good. My boyfriends lamb chops were over cooked and had to be sent back. We got artichokes and a loaded bake potato. The artichokes were great but the potato was disgusting. It had no flavor and tasted like it had been microwaved. Not worth the $. My boyfriend ate his only because that's all he had while his food was being recooked. Lauren our server was great and kept apologizing even though it wasn't her fault. Her and her service were the best part of the dinner
This is a franchise restaurant. The service was sub-par and left a lot to be desired. No bus boys meant the wait staff had lots to do and never was able to get everything accomplished through out the dining experience. Now the food - The steak was way over cooked. Medium had no pink at all. The au gratin potatoes tasted odd. The cheese was different tasting and they did not have the same amazing taste as in the states. Asparagus was good but the hollandaise sauce was completely cold. The restaurant was very large and beautiful but the food was not so good. Hopefully they can improve....
Very nice meal. Do find that the prices were a high. Especially dessert and side dishes.
Very Overpriced. Same Menu is less expensive in Toronto. Prices also include a tourist tax that is not mandatory and is 10% on top of your bill.
The food is very good but I find it over priced and small portions.
This is a very large location and they likely seated us away from most of the other diners because of our infant son. This was really smart on their part because when our son began to cry, we didnt feel so bad! Our server was really friendly and very accommodating of our infant son. The food came quickly and was cook perfectly. We went for our anniversary and decided we didnt have time for dessert because our infant son was starting to get restless. She packed a complimentary dessert for us (for our anniversary)! Food is pricey, but everything was cooked so well!
Food was fine but it took over an hour to have food on the table. Menu prices are also extremely inflated, doubling that of other Ruth Chris locations. Perhaps this is due to the vouchers included in the hotel deals.
Great steak and service. It does come at a high price.
Great meal! Great atmosphere! Very pricey especially when adding the local taxes to the tab
This location is so overpriced compared to locations in Toronto..
It is a joke. Then... They add their special Niagara Marketing Tax scam to your bill. Spend your money elsewhere
Everything was great.except for burnt broccoli so we got steamed broccoli. We took the advantage of a voucher .
Took our friends to this restaurant as they had never been before. They heard us rave about it lots.
Food, service and everything was excellent. My only complaint was that we seated early and were placed at the front. As we were seated almost at the front desk, we didn't enjoy the usual atmosphere.
The restaurant was not the least bit busy so I found this unusual!
Price was outrageous. But I knew that coming in... wasn't surprising. Quality of food and service defiantly reflects in price. Great food and setting :) enjoyed privacy of closing curtains in booths
Barely worth the money even with a $300 voucher. Food was extremely overpriced and lacking the expected quality. Would NOT recommend.
Food was not as ordered, and meat tasted of too much tenderizer.
