Nice ambiance and drinks @ the Bar. The appetizers and entrees came out extremely fast and seemed pre-made or processed instead of freshly prepared. They seemed bland and not as flavorful as my previous experiences @ Ruth’s Chris.

All of our food was very cold (sides like the sweet potato and mac and cheese, appetizers including soup!), steak came out raw and came out raw again even after sending it back. Waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted drinks, overall bad service. So quick, not a good experience

Our server Sebastian was excellent and the front of the house was very welcoming. The ambiance was perfect. We arrived early and they sat us right away. The food was great as my wife and I enjoyed a date night away from the kids. My only gripe would be the pricing but it is NYC. We would definitely come back.
The appetizers were delicious. The wine complimented the meals well. Food came quickly and extra hot. Absolutely lovely occasion.
So great to see our waiter Laz again. We really missed this place. So glad it’s back. Can’t wait to come back soon. The meal was fantastic.
We went for our second anniversary and the food was incredible. Laz, our waiter, was excellent; he made us feel welcomed and at ease. I ordered a Petite Filet with Shrimp and my husband ordered the Surf & Turf special with the ribeye and lobster tail. The ribeye was out-of-this-world delicious. The sides were great too, but we got so full with the meat, it was hard to finish the sides. We ordered creme brûlée for dessert and they surprised us with a mini cheesecake with a candle for our anniversary! It was a lovely experience and we’re going to remember it for a long time.

Great way to spend my birthday
I enjoyed everything. There were only two things that unsettled me a bit. After a little analysis, I noticed that there was a separation between people who sat in the front by the bar and the others who go to the back. Since I've been out to eat here several times, I've dressed pretty much the same and always sat in the back. Let's just say there was some slight discrimination for who sat in the front compared to the back.
Additionally, I was very turned off that my gratuity was AUTOMATICALLY included. Which was not always the case. Now, it was hard for me to not think this was associated with the reason we were sitting in the front. Either way, that is an option that should be for the customer to decide. Adding it, without circling that it was added was not okay. Just crossing out the NOT in the phrase “ Gratuity is not included” does not suffice. The worst part was the amount that was automatically added was less than what I would've given, but I was bothered by this and decided to give nothing more.
Besides those two things, everything else was delicious as usual.
A truly bizarre dining experience. While the food was good, the service was unprofessional and completely shambolic from start to finish. Firstly, we were not asked to provide proof of vaccination on arrival at the restaurant (although the signage outside indicated we should do so). The interior decor was tired and dated - resembling something from the 1990s. Our order was promptly taken but, to our dismay, our main course arrived BEFORE our starters. While the floor manager agreed to cancel our starters and remove them from the bill, this was not the end of the matter… When our bill arrived at the end of our meal, it accurately reflected a credit for our missing starters but the recommended tip amounts were calculated on the cost of the meal INCLUDING the missing starters. Fortunately I picked up on the restaurant’s billing error. I was then informed that the restaurant’s credit card system was not operational, and I could either pay in cash (???) or fill out an old-style credit card payment form (with carbon copy pages, which was very much in line with the aforementioned 1990s decor). Opting for the form, one was provided to me with the incorrect cost of the meal - including the cost of missing starters. Pointing this error out to my waiter resulted in me having to wait a further 10 minutes for the delivery of a corrected form. My table was not the only one encountering problems with its bill - I could overhear two further tables questioning their charges. Needless to say, it was a very disappointing dining experience, and I felt lucky to have avoided being overcharged for subpar service.
Hospitality is a source of great pride for our company and when a guest feels that he or she has not received the service that is the hallmark of the Ruth’s Chris name, we take those assertions seriously. We appreciate you brining your concerns to our attention and will work to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Wasn’t great. Pretty good
Good was amazing. My server could’ve been more attentive, however.
Food was very good. We had steak, asparagus, baked potato, snd salads. Service was very good as well. All the staff was very pleasant. But the decor was old and dated. I felt like I was in an old fashioned restaurant from the ‘60’s that hadn’t been updated for decades! But what was really annoying was the awful music played throughout the whole time we were there. Except for an occasional good jazz piece, the music was so distracting and unpleasant. We asked if it could be changed but the waiter said it couldn’t. Too bad.
The service and food was amazing. I've been to many Ruth Chris restaurants, and I'd have to say way that this holds up to all the others.
Restaurant was very empty, yet, waitstaff was not attentive for the price your pay for a steak. Was excited for Lobster Mac & Cheese, but the lobster was not fresh, tasted old. For that price, it should always be fresh.

My mom and I had the most wonderful experience of dining here. We were not even sure if we’d be let in as we traveled from Colorado and didn’t pack very upscale attire. However, the staff treated us like pure gold! Riaño, our server, was especially kind and made our experience amazing. Can’t wait to come back here. Thank you!

My waiter Adam was wonderful. I was there to celebrate my birthday and he made it very special and surprised me with a HAPPY birthday plate with cheesecake. Enjoyable time.
Thought I saw on website saying that they had restaurant week menu. Ended up they didn't.
In the bill, they listed an item "Open Grat" of 17% as Service Charges but without mentioning it. At bottom of bill, there were suggested % for tips. If I didn't pay attention, I would have given double tips. The way it was done seemed to me a little deceptive.
I had Lamb chops, so good!!
As always, their filet mignon is superb. Similarly, the quality of service was excellent. The place is laid out more crowded than typical Ruth's Chris, but not to the point it's a major distraction. The only real issue is the tables are of poor quality so the leaves they fold out to make them larger are all bent, resulting in a table that is not flat. For a large group check that the table is okay before seating.

A wonderful meal was marred by one large, unruly party
I made a reservation well in advance for my teenage sons birthday. When we arrived we were seated in the bar area, which was NOT what was requested or preferred. It was 6pm on a Tuesday. When I asked if we could sit in the dining room. I was told no, because my son was wearing “sports shorts” and didn’t meet the dress code. He was dressed nicely, the shirts were white and happened to be sport material. He wasn’t coming from the gym.
Meanwhile, every woman that walked into the restaurant and seated in the dining room, were practically topless. There was ZERO customer service.
I would have left except it’s his favorite steak place. So, I paid $300.00, to have my sons 14th birthday dinner in a noisy bar area. ZERO attempts were by management to accommodate or offer any kind of service to compensate. Actually quite the opposite, the establishment was condescending and dismissive.
I would not recommend this Ruth’s Chris if you want to be treated well. The steak was amazing. Our waitress was lovely. The rest of the service- terrible. I think someone better let this Ruth’s Chris know that this isn’t 1997 anymore- the uppety attitude is Passé.

Always a delicious meal. My go to steak house , but not for steak only
I absolutely loved my experience there the other night, the service was exceptional, I’m vegetarian but my partner eats meat and they made sure I had a special dish so everyone would be satisfied. It was all delicious and very calm and classy atmosphere.
