Ruth's Chris Steak House - Nashville Ratings and Reviews
Had a wonderful experience from beginning to end! Party of 10 for a holiday work dinner and the entire meal flowed perfectly with minimal wait times. The cocktails, steaks, sides, and desserts were on point for us all and everyone agreed that the meal rivaled any Nashville steak dinner.
I'll keep it simple. My family has been in the meat business for over 100 years. I have been to some of the best steakhouses in the US and I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the lively atmosphere (I like to sit near the bar and avoid some of the usual stuffiness) to the service, and the crazy good 11 oz filet, it was second to none!
We dined Thanksgiving but ordered off the menu. The star of the night was the Seafood Gumbo. It was luscious, flavorful and really quite excellent. Beyond that the meal was just OK and certainly not Ruth's Chris worthy. My filet, ordered medium rare was at least medium and the texture and flavor was so so. Seasons52 does a better job on their filet at half the price. I expected more. The two lobster tails ordered with the filet as part of a special for the night were rubbery. My wife's filet of medium well was cooked properly and my sons lamb of medium rare was cooked properly. But the flavors and textures were just OK. Certainly not worth the price. Service was hit and miss. Nice guy but gone for long periods. I'd been excited to eat at Ruth's Chris again and was quite disappointed. The quality would have been fine maybe for Outback and it's price point, but certainly not Ruth's Chris.
This was my first visit to this location, but it was consistent with the 3 other Ruth’s Chris that I have visited. The service, as usual, was excellent. Steaks were perfectly prepared. My favorite thing on the menu is the sweet potato casserole. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. I’ve tried many steak places, but Ruth’s Chris is my favorite. Only thing about this location is that it can be a little tricky getting in out depending on traffic.
We don't usually eat at chain restaurants but I had a gift card. They decorated the table for my boyfriend's birthday which was a cute surprise. The service was great. I think the ambiance is a little stuffy but since most people there were over 50, that may be their style. Food was good, but nothing amazing. I don't think it is worth the price compared to other steak restaurants.
Not worth the price tag. Dress code not enforced. Ambiance did not feel as special as other Ruth Chris Restaurants. The food was fine but certainly not melt in your mouth. Our waiter/service was exceptional. Bottom line, would not make the trip or spend the money at this establishment again.
We enjoyed it, but the presentation of our Steak could have been better. There were no garnish or eye appeal, just a sizzling very hot plate. My husband ordered the petite Ribye and half of it was fat for $46 we expected the entire steak to be eatable. The hostess was very pleasant as all the severs we came across. Tony our sever was EXCELLENT!!! Just to see him we will be back!!
