   Worst experience we’ve had at a Ruth’s Chris ever. Good was good as always but they need better staff and to finish the renovation before hosting customers. wait time was ridiculous for drinks and food. Will not go back till they are fully finished and back to how it was.

   They are remodeling bc so we were in a back inside room. My wife’s lamb was fine, daughter’s filet was ok, and the bone in NY strip very mediocre. Not impressed. Our server, Rylee was excellent, and made a so so evening passable. And the grossly overcharge for drinks.

   I love Ruth’s Chris steaks. Out food was great. My cocktail was delicious. The rest of the experience… not so much. WARNING- this location is under renovation. I was shocked when we arrived to see plastic hanging along with concrete sheet rock on the walls. All of the tables are just in one room. There is NO BAR right now due to the renovation. Thankfully we didn’t arrive early for a cocktail or I would be upset. The staff was okay but every place in the country is struggling with staffing. I have accepted that training and professional skills are lacking all over the country and in every industry. I was mostly upset that they’re under renovation and no one told me when I made our reservation. They should offer a complimentary dessert or something as a gesture of forgiveness for the lack of atmosphere. Truthfully they should just close and renovate then reopen or renovate 1/2 at a time. People are spending $200+ for a nice dinner and expect a polished setting.

   When ever we travel we try to find a Ruth's Chris and dine, so this visit to Nashville was no different. I received a call from the restaurant the morning of confirming the reservation and also very clearly outlining their "business casual" dress code. I found this be a little odd. We arrived a little early and figured we would have a cocktail at the bar to wait it out. We were then informed the bar was not open and under construction, which was disappointing, but then made me question why when the call came to confirm the reservation this information was not passed along. We did get seated early only to have the view of the construction site of the bar. As I looked around the dining room I see other folks seated at tables in T-shirts, shorts and hoodies. I'm sorry, did they not get the memo about the "business casual" dress code? Our waiter Devin was pleasant to speak with and did apologize for the confusion about the construction. Of note, were we offered a complimentary anything which also struck me as odd for the exceptional service we've received at other Ruth's Chris locations. We travel to Nashville at least once per year, I am curious to see how the reconstruction of the bar turns out, but I doubt my curiosity will win me over this time.

   The lobster Mac was undercooked and the cheese sauce was runny like water. The steak we received on the 3 course menu was so small a baby wouldn’t be full. I had to give my dad my steak a long with it. The lobster tail was good, basic. The creamed spinach was bland, but a good consistency, they should add Parmesan on top to give it a little more cheese like flavor. My steak was very good even though I only took a few bites and gave it to my dad to finish at home because he left still hungry. The Brussels sprouts were tough. Wine was cold and good, we ordered a bottle of essence resiling. Overall the food was average at best but the service from our server was great he was very sweet and understanding. I also ordered lobster bisque which tasted like seafood water, I sent that back and asked for a Cesar salad as a replacement. The bread pudding was tough and overcooked, not fresh.

   I have been a loyal customer for many years but was quite disappointed with my experience at the Nashville location. I completely understand the issue of the labor but if that’s the case, fewer tables should be served at one time. I greatly anticipated my 500 degree plate of Filet but was sad when it arrived barely warm. Removal of dishes and crumb collection was non existent. This was topped off by a desert of crème brûlée which was also disappointing. The atmosphere was also very bad due to the remodel. Please take this feedback as a tool to help improve.

   Service was spectacular! The food was amazing. An early Father’s Day dinner and his steak was fantastic! Carder salad was out of this world as was the creamed spinach. Great special occasion place. Drinks were on point too.

   This was truly sad. We have been going to Ruth's Chris restaurants for decades. This was pitiful! The servers were extremely nice but way undertrained and under experienced. Neither our SA nor the server were attentive to us at all. The server had clearly never opened a bottle of wine before. I had to do it for him. It was also a nice 12 year old bottle that would have been wonderful to get decanted. The process of checking out took over 30 minutes. I had to finally go track down the waiter to get it done. The ongoing construction was really problematic. We don't really expect to dine in a construction zone with black plastic and dust everywhere. There was clearly no manager present. The steaks were thankfully nice and well prepared. The asparagus was way overcooked, had woody stems and the culinary cream that was provided as "Hollandaise" was served well below room temperature. The potato dish seemed to have been on a warmer for hours. Ms. Ruth is spinning in her grave at the thought of this.

    The food and drinks were outstanding. The ambiance was not as expected. They were under construction. I didn't see any "pardon our dust" or similar signs. It took away from the experience. We did have dirty wine glasses that we requested to be switched out. The silverware was spotty too. The service wasn't "superior" as rated to be. It took about the whole meal till our servers warmed up to us. They weren't strict on their dress code in the dining area. Other than the food and drinks, this birthday dinner was a forgettable experience.

    Dinner was good. They didn’t get our steaks cooked right the first time, but they made it right! We were satisfied with the service and with dinner. They recommended a fantastic bottle of wine to complement my dinner. Nice job

    Great service & outstanding steaks. It was a quiet Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend. Our server, Rylee, did a terrific job making sure the service moved smoothly and my wife had her Tito’s cosmo. The steaks were delicious. The prices seem to have gone up a little, but they have everywhere else too. Nonetheless the value is still great when you factor in the service & quality of the meal. We’ll be back again this summer.

    After 16 years we have never been this disappointed at any Ruth’s Chris location. Details: The bread tasted stale. Only 1/3 of us were able to eat all of the items served to us. Of the 3 filets ordered medium; only 1 came out edible. The others were way under done and way over done. We sent the underdone steak back and it came back slightly better. Still not correct. The Brussels Sprout side was inedible and was left uneaten. The shrimp was undercooked. Not sure how bread pudding can taste stale, but it did. After all of this, no Floor Manager apologized for the less than impressive service. Undercooked and stale food is not a preference. They just took back plates of uneaten food and handed us a check for $300. Not sure why we had to pay for over $200 of uneaten food due to Ruth’s Chris inability to cook the their own food. Guess sometimes traditions need to change. So long Ruth’s Chris.

    Haven't been to a Ruth Chris in about eight years as my last experience was not exciting and I find the abundance of butter a bit much for my stomach. I took my son as he wanted to go for his birthday and no one asked if we were celebrating anything. I did mention to the server that it was his birthday and he just shrugged it off and asked our names. I host and entertain quite a bit for family, friends and clients. If you're looking to celebrate something, this is not the place.

    Was there last year and thoroughly enjoyed. Came for our friends birthday. The steaks were hard and dry. They did enjoy the lobster tails. Devon the waiter was excellent. Didn’t share about the steaks, really wanted to have a nice evening. Very surprised about the filets and ribeye.

    College grad dinner and honestly, I wish we had selected a better venue. Overall, Ruth Chris has appeared to have gone downhill in the last few years and I am tired of blaming the pandemic for everything. We are spending good money and expect not only a great quality meal, but an overall great experience. Food quality was good For the most part, but not exceptional like it used to be. lobster bisque had a very bad taste, almost like cleaning solution left on bowl and brussel sprout side dish was mediocre. But what really got me was the length of time tables that were finished eating and patrons long gone, stayed dirty, covered with dishes and glasses for well over 30 mins. The women’s restroom was unkept, one stall broken, no soap to wash hands, toilet paper holder was broken off the wall in one of the two functioning stalls. Again, I wish I had taken my $250 elsewhere.

    As always, this was a great experience. The food and the service were great. The atmosphere made things just right was a relaxed meal. Our family has begun to consider this one of our favorite places for our celebrations. This was our second time there in two weeks.

    Jad to wait 30 minutes to be sat with a reservation. Steak was cooked wrong on 3 attempts requesting medium. The back of house manager said that they were very sorry and that the meal would be comped. But the front of hoise manages dod not want to honor that. They are lookong for experience manages. Please apply. Terrible mothers day experience.

    Two of the four of us had improper cooked steaks. With the price of this establishment we should never have to worry about getting steaks over cooked. We didn’t complain because we were in a business meeting and didn’t feel it was appropriate.
