Ruth's Chris Steak House - Myrtle Beach Ratings and Reviews
Our wonderful dinner notched up to exceptional because of our waiter Chuck. Professional and unobtrusive, yet right there when needed. Steak and lobster tail were delicious and salad and dessert just as good. We will most certainly be back the next time we're in Myrtle Beach.
We had a great time. Party of 6 and we sat very comfortably. In fact they looked up where we sat last time and put us there. Our server David (aka Elvis) was excellent. He made the meal even more enjoyable. The Iced Tea Vodka was so good. I started with the tomato and mozzarella salad that was delicious. They use kumato tomatoes with hearty chunks of cheese and balsamic reduction. Of course everyone got steak with butter (extra butter). Always tasty. We opted for several potato dishes. How can you not. You have to have one of everything. Sweet Potato Casserole, Potato A'gratin, Lyonnaise plus we got the corn as well as the sprouts. We finished with several desserts. I love the fruit and cream (it's like a yummy vanilla cake batter). We also got the french press coffee which I was pleased about because some Ruth's Chris don't have it anymore. We had a great visit.
My son treated me to your restaurant for dinner for my 70th birthday. I very much enjoyed the view & the atmosphere of the room. The waitress was delightful and my meal was delicious. We will definitely be scheduling a night out at your Pittsburgh restaurant over the holiday seasons.
First time to Ruth Chris. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. The staff at the hostess station were friendly. The server very professional. The steaks were excellent but we weren't overly impressed with the vegetables. The creamed spinach tasted like it came out of a box and the brussel sprouts were tasty but a little undone. We didn't complain because it was late and we were hungry. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
It was storming outside the night we were there, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoor view. Maybe next time!
We've eaten at Ruth's Chris all over the US and in Cancun. This one was mediocre where we have been spoiled with excellent at other Ruth's Chris.
Both Filet Mignon had large chunks of fat/gristle.
The potatoes were barely warm and the asparagus was cold.
On the good side, the steak tasted great and was cooked perfectly.
My friends from Kansas City and I dined at Ruths Chris Steak House in Myrtle Beach the evening of October 19, 2017. It was Great. The steaks were great and the Steak/Seafood Special was fantastic. The servers working as a team were great. They never let our drinks get empty and they were as courteous as they could be. We ended our meal with the berries and cream for dessert. It was a great choice. The overall experience was exceptional. It was truly a Five Star meal and experience. Thank you Ruths Chris for a great time and an exceptional meal.
My husband and I visited Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse recently during a beach getaway. The service was excellent from the host to our waiter. We ate the ribeye and it was delicious. We had roasted brussel sprouts and lobster mac and cheese for sides. They were just ok. We did not care for everything being a la carte. We also felt it was over priced but were willing to give it a try for the experience. My biggest disappointment was the atmosphere. They have a dress code in place so we were dressed up. There were other guest there with shorts and jeans. I was excited about having a romantic dinner with my husband. It was brightly lit and the tables were so close together at times I couldn’t hear our conversation because of the noise from the other tables.
We have been to other Ruth Chris's restaurants previously. This one was especially memorable in that the décor was superb as was the food. It is a bit pricy but well worth it. The prix fixe menu was excellent. The full menu offered a great choice of entrees as well as appetizers.
Spend the money, this Ruth Chris is worth the price of admission.
Have been here before and it was 5 stars but not this time. Filets were fatty and had to be sent back to be cooked again to the right temperature. Asparagus were undercooked and tasteless. Disappointed but since this was unusual we will try it again and hope for the best.
Absolutely LOVE Ruth’s Chris in Myrtle Beach! We have vacationed in Myrtle Beach for several years and Ruth’s Chris is always a must for our family. We have been to several Ruth’s Chris in other cities and this location is one of our top two favorites! The food is always consistent and incredible! The wait staff is one of the best I have ever seen at any restaurant. We look forward to coming back for years to come. Definitely 10 out of 10!!!
Best Steak EVER, with scrumptious crab stuffed mushrooms, creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes, Banfi Sparkling Wine, and dessert. The best part was our waiter Brandon, who could not have been more helpful, gracious, friendly and efficient. He needs a raise! We had the very best 56th Anniversary with roses on the table (of course that I had delivered).
The food and service was excellent!! We appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The food was amazing! Loved that the manager came over to speak with us. Loved the confetti on the table! Was pleasantly surprised that Ray received a gift card to return. That was really nice. Couldn't have asked for a better 70th birthday party experience for Ray.

This location is in resort city of Myrtle Beach. Restaurant has a posted dress code and when they confirmed our reservation, they reminded me of the dress code. When we arrived the dress code is shown in signage. First entering the dining room we see a noisey table of six with shorts, tee shirts, ball caps on backwards and foul language. After enduring 15 minutes of the noise and foul language and other patrons staring at this table, my daughter sought out the manager and he said he would address it. He came into the room, looked at the table, went to another table and removed an empty bottle and left. We were left with the noise the rest of our $100 plus dinner. I will never go back to this location or any other in resort cities.
