The service, food and atmosphere were exceptional. The staff was attentive to our needs and frequently called us by our name. While a little pricey overall the meal and the evening was a success.
This franchise never disappoints. Food excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Very nice dining area by the fireplace. Knowledgeable waiter, Saul.
Dinner was outstanding. The bar drinks were also made exceptionally. This location seems to never disappoint.
We visit the steak house every March for our anniversary. Frank was our head waiter with Nicholas assisting. The meal was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I had a glass of the house Merlot and it was amazing!
The food was good and I love butter, but everything was slathered in butter. Not the most tender filet but it was cooked well. Exceptional service and nice quiet atmosphere. I spent a little more than I planned to- it was $175 for 2 people without alcohol.
Excellent service, nice environment, food is always absolutely delicious
Outstanding service. Delicious food.
Spring Break fancy dinner good steak!
Had a good time, 9 people for a business meeting
Once again a wonderful dining experience at Myrtle Beach Ruth’s Chris. Food was delicious and service (Josh) was obviously very busy with other customers but still very attentive.
I had been before but my girlfriend is not. It was everything that I wanted it to be and more and she was blown away by the good food and good service that we had. I only put four stars for the service because we had to ask three times for some more bread though the table next to us was being a bit needy. Outside of that the food the service the ambience was exactly what we were looking for. We will be back for sure
For my first fine dining restaurant, this was a very pleasant experience. I had no idea they served soda until I saw it brought to another table! So I wish they would have told me that when they offered drinks. Other than that, best Caeser salad and rib ribeye I've EVER had! However, the mashed potatoes coagulated in a hard, unpleasant way, so considering the price of the restaurant, I was greatly disappointed in that. Don't order the mashed potatoes unless you like weird textures and crusty potatoes!
filet steak was tender, ribeye was not as tender for the price, lots of gristle in my steak
We love it here. The service is super, atmosphere beautiful! We sat outside and it was glorious! Melissa, Courtney and Bart and Daryl the manager were fantastic! Food is always top quality! Wine fresh and delicious.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary, and the service by our Waiter Frank was OUTSTANDING
Awesome experience for my husband and my 7th year Anniversary! Thanks.
First time to your restaurant.Food and service was excellent.Complements to the chef ,steaks were done perfect.Service was very good and friendly. We will definitly come back again.thanks
As always. The meal atmosphere and service was excellent. My favorite restaurant.
Everything was wonderful!!
Ruth's Chris never disappoints, terrific service from the minute one walks in the door until one has the valet return the car. The food was delicious, enjoyed the calamari appetizer, steak house salad and melt in your mouth filet. Our waiter, Frank, answered questions and checked on us often to ask about the food or anything else we my need.
Shane was an excellent server. Food was great, whiskey was even better!!
Danielle our waitress was excellent! She was very attentive and super sweet! Food was fantastic as always!
First time at Ruth Chris very good server excellent, atmosphere great
I had a wonderful night here! The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was great and worth the money. Definitely dining in again!
This was our first time at Ruth's Chris and we had very high expectations, but were unfortunately let down. The food was good, don't get me wrong, but it was nothing that would blow you away. We never got our starter plates so therefore we were eating our bread on our napkin. For the money you spend, you should leave feeling like your meal was better than Outback or Longhorn and it's not!
We went to the Ruth’s Chris in Myrtle Beach last Saturday evening. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a Ruth’s Chris restaurant. When we were taken to our table, there were four of us and it was only set for two people and the napkins had already been used. When I brought it to the server’s attention, she said oh it’s no big deal a couple sat down before you all and didn’t like the seats and moved. Another person did come out and reset our table. We then realized why the other couple did not want to sit there, it was by the emergency exit and it was a chilly night in Myrtle Beach in February. There was a huge draft that continuously came under the door and froze all four of us. All three staff members consistently apologized for everything. They apologized because the drinks took too long, they apologized because the appetizers took to long to come out. They apologized because my steak was cooked well done after I asked for it to be medium rare. They apologized because the plates were sticking to the napkins from the serving tray. They apologized because the mashed potatoes were cold. Everything we ordered came extremely slow and late - our dinner for four took over three hours. Don’t get me wrong, I expect it to be an evening affair, but three hours was a bit too long. We will not return to this location.
This was our Valentines Day dinner. We have dined at other Ruth’s Chris locations, but this was a first time at Myrtle Beach. We expect great food and this was no exception. Our table for two was missing a knife and bread plates, even though the waiter brought bread. We ordered steak and lobster tails, but had nothing to put the tail shells on once the meat was extracted so we put them on the tablecloth. Like I said earlier, the food was good, and we will try this restaurant again for another shot at excellence.
Visiting Ruth’s Chris for our Valentines weekend dinner - we were underwhelmed by the atmosphere and quality of our dinner. I am normally warm natured and prefer rooms to be cooler. I was very cold and my wife was freezing in the dining room. We requested the thermostat be turned up to a reasonable level. To our knowledge, that never happened. We requested to be seated in a quiet area- we were seated next to the loudest most obnoxious table in the room - also next to the main entrance to the dining room, so there was constant heavy in and out traffic. Sitting next to my wife, we could not hear each other speaking from only a few feet away. The food was fine, however the overall atmosphere in the dining room, made our dinner experience very unpleasant. We only come for RC for special occasions, after this past weekend- we probably will not return anytime soon.
Great time as always. Take daughters and wife wveeu year. Always great
Everything was perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
One of my favorite dining experiences in the Myrtle Beach area. The view, staff and food are always friendly and on point making it one of my top picks every time that I am in town. The best happy hour on The Strand.
Frank is the man! Great service!
Slow on refills. Had to send one of our steaks back 3 times to have it cooked well done. Even on the 3rd time the steak was undercooked. Other than that the rest of the food was excellent. Management did comp us, but for this class of restaurant should’ve never had these issues. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina location.
Waited two hours for our food. Then wrong items came out. When they eventually got my 70$ steak to me it was well done and not medium rare like I asked. The corn was cold and had to be reheated. The general manager was very nice and apologetic. He gave our entire meal including drinks for free.
Food was below average for fine dining. One of the two entrees came out cold. Waitress took the entree back and they reheated it. This dried out the shrimp. Steak was cooked well but had way too much fat on it. Potatoes were cold.
We very much enjoy this location. The food is terrific, staff fantastic and the location is excellent,
Absolutely one of the most amazing restaurants in Myrtle Beach and an exceptional dining experience. The staff is accommodating and professional and geared toward customer service and the food is impeccable. Highly recommend
Not the best night at RC. Made reservations for 5 and was seated at a round table that seated 10. It was difficult to have a conversation with family. The food took a long time to arrive and two of the steaks were incorrectly cooked. Server was good, but seemed busy. Not the best birthday dinner.
The service was good, however, my boyfriend ordered a bone in filet medium rare and it came almost medium well. He sent it back and ordered a cowboy ribeye instead. I was completely finished eating by the time his food came. He had a few bites but wasn’t very hungry after waiting 20 minutes since we had shared a tuna appetizer and I gave him some of my dinner and ate our shared side dish. The side was garlic mashed potatoes and they were fair. My steak was done perfectly and I had filet and twin lobster tails. My meal was okay but not exceptional. This is probably the 3rd time we have been to this location and have been underwhelmed every time. I expect a meal that costs over $350.00 with a couple drinks, tax and tip for 2 people to be outstanding. I have had a better meal at home for under $50.00.
