Ruth's Chris Steak House - Mobile Ratings and Reviews
The Ruth's Chris name comes with a certain expectation. Although the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great, I was slightly disappointed with the quality of the food. As far as the ambiance, service staff, and dinning setting, it was fantastic. The staff was extremely understanding and accommodating to our needs and did a wonderful job. If it's a special occasion and you want to say you've dined at a Ruth's Chris than it's worth a visit.
Seated promptly. Excellent service. 16oz ribeye steak was sent back to the kitchen. Not up to standards for a $65 steak at the best steakhouse in town. Way to much "marbling". Brought out another nicely done steak but my wife had already finished her entree. 😢
I always enjoy Ruth's Chris Mobile. Great management and service. Our steaks were cooked one category much. Still the steaks were excellent. I did let our waiter know and we were comp'd deserts. Wasn't necessary, but only a testament to their commitment to client satisfaction. BTW, their Chrissies are incredible.
Ruth's Chris in Mobile is a very good restaurant. Very good service and good food -- The Menu has been changed to include more options and makes this Ruth's Chris even better to me! I highly recommend this restaurant occasions as well as for a great even out!
The service was amazing!
Just enough menu items::sides were delicious, but not large enough to call a "shareable". The steak was cooked perfectly with a nice crust. However, it lacked seasoning. I added salt, pepper and a bit of gravy from my mushrooms. Other than taste, i have no complaints.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary of 34 years on Saturday, May 27th visiting Mobile, AL. There were 2 things that really bugged my husband and I.....especially for a $200 plus meal. We had a reservation and they proceeded to sit us in horrible spot (direct traffic of waitress/waiter and when asked to be moved told us that someone else with a reservation might have that table. What are we chop liver we had a reservation too!
Then a Young woman came out and ask various table were they happy. She passed right by us. At first we thought she may be prejudice but then notice there were several folks with different enticity she was just being RUDE just like the first young lady.
Great food as always. The steak is what we come for. It's a place for celebrations, most tables around us had birthdays or anniversaries that they were celebrating. Courteous staff. Felt just a tiny bit rushed until we were waiting for the check which took a while.
I am glad to see this review, as I have tried to reach the restaurant since Monday. My party of six ordered 3 steaks(2T-bones and a cowboy) none of which came sizzling to the table(was that taken off of your presentation). None of the steaks were seasoned well and as for my steak, I asked the server to ask the chef to make it crispy around the edge. My edge came back burnt, really black. We were on time constraints so I cut that part off and tried to eat the middle. We did not finish any of our meals, so we asked for carry out trays. My sister said for the servers to put everything in a carry out. Well, we got home and our mac and cheese was not with us, nor was our bread(in which the server said he would give us a fresh roll). I have been taking my mom to Ruth Chris for Mother's Day since 1996 and I believe this was the worst experience. Thank you for having such an awesome restaurant, but you must keep serving good food to continue to be awesome. By the way, I liked the sizzle, bring it back.
Amazing steaks, awesome wines, competent and attentive service and beyond. Expensive but worth it. They even accommodated a vegetarian in our party with cheer (I had called ahead to make sure it was not an issue) and dealt with a self-inflicted "broke glass" event between the kitchen and our table with grace.
An Excellent meal as usual. Delicious, perfectly cooked, amazing cuts of meat. Stuffed jalapeños are incredible, creamed spinach au gratin was great. Ross, Terrell, and Tyler provided outstanding service, and make us want to come back. 9.5/10, only because the cheesecake is a no-bake type and seems a little out of place in a meal of that caliber. Will definitely return!
I had the petite filet, my husband had the grouper with the pecan meuniere sauce, we shared the chopped salad and the twice baked potato.
The filet and the sides were great as usual. There was entirely too much pecan meuniere sauce on the grouper, it overwhelmed the taste and flavor of the grouper. We have had the grouper with the pecan meuniere sauce previously in the Mobile Ruth Chris, each time very good, not this time.
