They didn't have any tomahawk ribeye, we were some of the first in for dinner. Second choice, cowboy ribeye was decent, but I do better with steaks bought at Winn Dixie. Appetizer, crab salad, was missing some flavor, so it was bland to us. Sweet potato casserole side was delicious. Desert was a flourless chocolate cake which paired very nicely with the wine we chose. With most of our dinner split between the two of us, the price was insane. $100 meal at best, but cost us over $300 with the tip. Not going to dine here again for that fact alone.

Everything was great. Emily our server was terrific. Her assistant Russell was equally great. The only thing I would comment on was that our birthday celebrant was not given a birthday candle/cake after our dinner. Small issue that would have completed his birthday celebration, Other than that, everything was fantastic.

I’m a regular at Ruth Chris, but last night I was very disappointed. First I have never had to send back a steak at Ruth Chris, but I requested a medium steak and it was dry and well done. When your paying this much. You expect better! Second, I have an issue with the manager walking around asking people to put up their phones, I can understand talking on your phone in the dining area but to not be allowed to savor the moment with a picture of your child on their birthday is ridiculous!

We have been patrons for years. As the staff changes, certain things we request (off menu) get lost in translation. We understand certain items may not be available but history is important. One thing that was missing when cleaning off tables, the little scraper was not used but the staff’s hand. We had to ask for black napkins instead of them being given automatically. We had a great dinner and the staff was great but just little nuances that we are used to were missing.
