We were at this restaurant for New Years and it was great. This last visit was quite disappointing. We were seated in a very crowded section even though there was plenty of room in other less crowded sections.
New years eve, the food was excellent. This time, very mediocre. My rib eye was very very fatty. I do enjoy a little fat and usually leave nothing on the plate. My daughter ordered you large fillet medium rare and it was well don eon the outside and almost raw on the inside. She was too shy to complain and would not let me.
My other daughter ordered fries which were oily and soggy. We also ordered your calamari which should be served hot and crispy not almost raw and soggy. I eat out a lot for business and have always frequented the keg and chop steak house in your area. After New Years, I thought I| had found a nice alternative but now I don't think so.
First time to this new location and found it quite nice. Pricing continues to be high but excellent quality. Vince was best waiter EVER ! Special occasion dining for our family.
The reason that I said “no” is because I really prefer the Richmond location. Not sure if it is because the airport location just opened but I feel that the experience and atmosphere is better downtown. The food was still very good but I felt that the side dish portions are bigger downtown and in Mississauga. The seat that we had was right outside the washroom as well, so that may have taken away from the experience as well.
My date and I had a really good evening. Sitting beside the fireplace created the perfect ambience for our specific occasion. Our waiter was great.
The evening was great. The food was amazing and the staff was awesome. We will have to do it again.

Enjoyed Ruths Chris in many other locations but this place was the pits.
I would not recommend it all to anyone.
Avoid this location.
Go elsewhere for sure and save your money.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn before an early flight out in the morning. It was Valentines Day. We had been travelling for quite a while and well, were a little under dressed for the restaurant. However, we were treated royally. The food was amazing, the steak my husband ordered was excellent and I opted for the salmon. Both were perfectly cooked and the sides, creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes were divine. The service was fantastic as they used a team method that ensured everything we received was at the perfect temperature and we never wondering when the next item would arrive. Even though the service was attentive, you never felt your dinner was being interrupted. All in all an excellent meal.
I brought my boyfriend because I had such a fantastic experience at the downtown location under Hilton. My sister in law gave us a 100$ give card (thank god) so I was excited to bring him for a special dinner. Let’s just say.....service was mediocre....food came out slow...I ordered crab cakes to start ; they were bland n oily....it would be better off if it was tuna. Mind u we waited 40 mins for the appetizer. I had a filet and he ordered lamb chop, both medium rare. My poor guy had raw lamb we had to send it back. My filet was good but we ended up sharing so by the time we got the lamb we were full and took it to go. Oh we also got a baked potatoe and it was excellent! Anyhooo overrated. If your by the airport just go to the keg!!!!! Sorry but not sorry 😐
I don’t usually post reviews, but decided I would this time. Upon arrival and all through our evening the staff were all Very friendly and accommodating.. the Tables are not near as crowded as they were in previous location. Our original order for a bottle of wine they didn’t have in stock, our second choice was also out of stock and our final request was for Masi amarone, they brought MASI Borolo ... Our apps were; tomato with fresh cheese... nothing special about it, and mushrooms stuffed with crab... ? stuffed with mostly bread, barely crab worth mentioning. Our main was broiled salmon... the first thing we both commented on was that it was the “tail” cut end, and not a nice thick centre cut... it was perfectly cooked and with just the right amount of seasoning ...we ordered asparagus as our side also quite very interesting... what was supposed to be hollandaise sauce was in fact pastry cream...! It was obviously a mistake that our waiter attested to after we made him taste it. He returned from the kitchen with another bowl of the same thing ! Saying that’s how it is and so also brought bearnaise sauce just in case we’d prefer it. . Clearly no one in the kitchen knows that a sweet sauce is never served with vegetables or with fish. We felt sorry for our server as he was obviously not taken seriously in the kitchen.
We expected more from Ruth Chris.
Great Service and food was amazing. Not too loud. fun bar area if you have to wait for your table and a great wine selection. Well done!
The steak was overdone I asked for medium rare and I got almost well done steak. We had some leftovers that we asked to be packed and one of my leftovers didn't make it home with me. Awful service!! Will not go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The Keg is more value for the money!

We are seasoned Ruth Chris diners…from the previous Square One location. This was the first time at the Airport location…five of us were there for my Mum's 78th Birthday Celebration. She ordered barbeque shrimp with mashed potatoes; I wish I took a picture of her meal for you…it looked like a huge bowl of soup. The sauce covered everything in her bowl that the meal was served it. She hated it. She expressed her dislike and disappointment to the hostess, who listened but did nothing to fix the situation ( despite knowing it was my Mum’s birthday). The server was neither welcoming nor pleasant…I had the crab cakes..they were extremely salty. The size of the sides and desert were much smaller than we remember. The steaks were ok…we aren’t looking forward to going back.

The food continues amazing, the new location not so much - it feels like you're sitting in a busy terminal at the airport and not in an upscale restaurant. When you reserve a table, make sure, where it is located. The tables close to the bar with TV screens overhead would not be my preference for a 400$ dinner, rather would go to a sports bar for that.
This was our first visit and we were very pleasantly surprised from the minute we walked in the door. Very attentive service. Exceptional food and can't wait to return.
Many of the wines not available. 30 min before a glass was poured. Side dishes were ordinary at best Place was lit up like a cafeteria The steak was excellent but with everything as ordinary as it was the value of a steakhouse experience is better at CHOP just down the road. Or Even the keg across the street. Sorry but for $100 / person this place failed on getting value for that.
It was my first time dining at Ruth's Chris. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. We had steak and lobster, calamari, a few veggie side dishes and the whiskey bread pudding for dessert. The calamari were tough - not very good quality as well as the lobster - overcooked and fishy. We only took a bite out of the lobster and I was shocked they did not offer to comp the lobster... The veggies and potatoes were good as was the steak and the whiskey bread pudding was to die for! I would go back just for the bread pudding - it was that good! Overall... Not super impressed. Aside from food I value customer service and the fact they didn't offer to comp a practically untouched lobster is a serious thumbs down for me especially in a high end place like this...
In a health conscious world, butter on steaks should be an option, not automatic.
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse never dissapoints - and everything on the menu is delicious!
The service was really good, the staff was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately the food was horrible. The lobster tail was like leather, and the meat was overcooked to what we had asked for. We wanted to send it back but felt bad for the waiter. Ambience gets a low score because the table beside us was a group of douchey businessmen, whose conversation was lame and loud enough that I had to make an effort to tune it out.
Made reservations for 9pm when I got there, they didn’t have a table for me said they were booked all night
The food is outstanding and our server (Donald) went above and beyond. My wife and I can't afford to eat there, but we went for an early Valentine's Day dinner.
Now we can't eat anywhere else because nothing can compare. We will be back as soon as we can!!!!!!

Natalie our hostess was lovely; we arrived early for our reservation but we were seated within five minutes. The food as always was delicious. Arrived in a timely manner and Served at perfect temperature. Everything tasted amazing as we would expect from Ruth’s Chris.
Our waiter Scott did not provide the usual level of service we are used to at Ruth’s Chris, nor any steakhouse for that matter. He was not rude, but overall quite curt, not really friendly...just overall below the level of service we would expect from Ruth’s Chris. We frequented the Mississauga and downtown locations before, and were always greeted and served with overwhelming quality of service. Scott just did not provide that. To top it all off, our busser would clear our plates before all our guests were finished eating! And while one of our guests was finishing his plate, the busser would hover over him until he barely put his fork down.
I would have commented with the dining room manager had they even visited our table (as is the usual tendency we have experienced). We were there for a birthday, so I did not want to further ruin the evening by asking for a manager and instead will leave disappointing reviews for this new location. Left the restaurant with a poor taste in our mouths.
