Ruth’s Chris Steak House – Toronto Airport
Great B day
I was surprised that my loyalty card was not returned to me.
Food was very tasty. The filet and lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Did not enjoy the seats, very hard with minimal padding. If you have back or leg pain request a booth. Service was a bit slow but understandable as they were busy. The waiter did apologize for the delay which was appreciated.
Food was amazing. Sevice was very good.
Pricier then I remembered.
My wife and I were $350 for the both of us(inc tip). She had a glass of wine I drank water. Not an issue just didn’t recall!
Overall pleased but just can’t make it a regular thing.
Our waiter Masi was amazing, my steak came out a little under cooked, before I could say anything it was on its way back to the kitchen. Au gratin potatoes are to die for! Great service in and out in an hour.
Low elegance in sense of patrons and dress code, but amazing service and great food. Music was too low; too easy to hear others
The decor was that a a cheap restaurant
Steaks were delicious. Sides were good, however, I found the Caesar salad to be somewhat overpriced. For what I paid, I was expecting something a little larger, with a WOW factor - did not receive that.
Good steak house.
New clients, and it was a really nice experience.
Parking is at a premium
The service was very good and friendly
The food was excellent
Just need some signage in regards to parking. We thought we had to pay to park.
Well, every thing went well overall.
However, our waiter, Scott was unhappy with the 15% of the tip. Scott used a rude body language, didn’t thank and left ubruptly. I had to ask my husband about what happened to the waiter, his behaviour was noticeable.
The experience at Ruth’s Chris was a wonderful one. Our servers were second to none. Mazi and Manny were on top of our every request and made our overall experience even better than expected. The food was cooked to perfection and delicious. The only complaint would be the cost of the side dishes. $17 for some steamed broccoli seems a little much.
Fabulous dinner - great service.
It was our first time at Ruth's Chris and may I just say.. they did not disappoint.
Firstly, we were greeted in such a lovely manner and escorted to our table.
Our server Andrew welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm. He made our experience quite enjoyable from his friendliness to his expertise of service.
Our meal was cooked, presented and served with elegance, sophistication and perfection.
We really enjoyed not only our meal but our overall dining experience.
A BIG thank you to Andrew our server and the other gentleman who I cannot remember his name but I say he is a Drake look- a- like..a big thank you for everything :)
We plan on making this our go to Steak House when we are wanting a delicious steak cooked to perfection, a meal presented and served with elegance and , warm, welcoming, friendly ,exceptional service.
Dinner for two, assigned a seat in the middle of the dining room. Not exactly high-class for a meal over $250.
Would have preferred a booth or at least been served at a table on the perimeter.
Restaurant was loud, crowded, slightly pretentious, and, in my opinion, very, very over-priced. It was my first time at a Ruth Chris steakhouse and I don’t think I’ll go back. I ordered a garden salad to start and it was just ok, nothing special. The lettuce tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. Mains come with no sides - you have to order them separately. I ordered just the red snapper fish special, which came chopped up in a dish (as opposed to as a filet) and the fish and the dish were so hot that I burned my fingers and my tongue... waiter did not do a table side quality check. Waiter cleared my still full fish dish without saying a word to me. Very, very disappointed. There are better steakhouses. My husband had the creamed spinach and also the snapper and enjoyed it, but he is ex-army and frankly, can and does eat anything. No desserts, we left within an hour of arriving.
There was my wife and I. We Have been to many high end restaurants in North America to compare this dining experience. While sipping the wine we asked that we were not rushed. The seafood tower was excellent, however they rushed us by cleaning up before we even finished. We again asked the waiter to not rush our entre dinners, but they brought them before we even finished the seafood appetizer and servers even commented that it may have been too soon. Filet steak was tasty, but found it difficult to cut. Usually cuts like butter. Brussel sprouts were tough as well. Potatoes and mushrooms were very good. Definitely not high end service for high end price. Won’t be looking to return.
The food is amazing, it has never failed to be delicious on the many occasions my boyfriend and I have been here. The staff/waiters were very kind, accommodating, and professional.
Started with a seafood appie tower and it was so fresh and amazing. Excellent selection and a great way to start a meal.
Then onto the Tomahawk steak we split into three , so we all got about 10oz each and a perfectly marbled rib eye.
We finished up with dessert of berries and cream, chocolate cake and ice cream.
Another excellent meal and service that is traditional and expected when we come to Ruth Chris in whatever city or country we are in.
Everything was amazing. Price point needs adjust for quality of cut of steak 🥩
Fantastic service and food:)
Highly recommend this location
Great food and service, try the macaroni and cheese!! Really good :)
Seafood tower was excellent
The food and service was amazing. Our waiter occasionally checked up on us and made sure everything was good.
We had 2 steaks and shared Fries. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very tender. The fries were exceptional. I could of made a meal out of them. Our first visit and it was fun to watch the other diners and just mellow out.
Menu and waiter made it possible to share items and split steak and salad so we could enjoy the date.
The streak was amazing but everything else was didn't make to a one star. The salad, sides & desert was pretty nasty. It is not worth the money they charge.
Love this place and the steak
One of the best steakhouse in toronto
The worst experience I’ve ever had, I had the chicken which was tough, flavorless and awful. When I complained a manager came over and was adamant that it was cooked fresh and wasn’t reheated, I disagreed with him and said the only way it would be so tough is that it was an old piece of chicken that had been reheated or a bad piece of meat. It’s very sad because I’ve eaten in a lot of the Ruth’s Chris steak restaurants all throughout the USA and never experienced bad food. After removing the chicken dish from my plate, they didn’t charge me for the chicken but didn’t compensate me for the bad experience I had, I was very shocked.
Hands down the BEST steak ever. Great touch with the hot plate. ..it kept the steak hot the whole time. Fantasic spot for special occasion.
Great food, great service, as always! See you next year on anniversary #22!
My wife and I went there for the first time, celebrating our birthdays.
The service was great, Vince, we appreciate that you enjoy what you're doing. Nice touch with the birthday decor on the table.
The food tasted delicious, perfect portion and we'd love to go back to try more dishes. The Creme Brule and cheesecake were a hit.
A few things to note that can really improve your experience:
1- It was a cold and windy day, and was very slippery coming out of the car. Parking spots should be salted to ensure your guests' safety.
2- The music felt like it was the wrong type. I'd pick something more mellow, or dinner jazz, to encourage a nice conversation, whether for business, birthdays, anniversaries... and if it was intended to be more energetic, I'd pick a more sophisticated playlist, this one felt like a diner.
3- The toilet did not flush, and you don't want your guests to be dealing with this when they're out on a nice evening. I'd expect that you're checking these things before opening doors, this is a high-ticket restaurant.
Overall, the experience was good, but sometimes little things can leave a negative impression.
Excellent service and food is always amazing.
Four of us dining on a Sunday evening. Place was pretty well empty, cold outside and in. Asked to have the gas fireplace put on, was told it was broken. Chairs are comfy to lean back and snooze in, awkward to pull up and eat on. Music was loud, a little obtrusive. Service was top notch all around.
Ordered 4 steaks, all medium. You can hear the steaks sizzling in butter on the plates before you see them arriving. Three were rare/medium rare. One was medium-well/well done. The burnt butter taste on the steak is off-putting, frankly. My steak was seared on top, but when I turned it over, it was grey and unappetizing. No seasoning to speak of on mine, others said theirs was OK.
Appetizers are hit and miss: Bread/butter was meh, Butternut squash soup was very, very good, Onion rings are huge and unappealing. Between the 4 of us, we got through maybe half of them. The beer was decent, but overpriced.
The food deserved to be sent back, but in doing so, the mediocre dining experience and ridiculously expensive food ($400) would become the focus and we chose to enjoy our company instead. I can't see myself going back there. Very expensive mediocrity.
The steak of course is what it's all about, and they don't fail to deliver. However, it seemed pricey, even for Ruth Chris, considering we only had one bottle of wine. However, it's a delicious meal in a smart casual setting, and you can't go wrong.
We ate here after a business meeting. Great steak, too much butter, everything was tasty though.
