Ruth’s Chris Steak House – Toronto Airport
We ate here after a business meeting. Great steak, too much butter, everything was tasty though.
The service and food was outstanding.
excellent will come back in the near future. gotta get more steak lol
Go for the steak. Choose the prix fixe menu for value. Treated our 2 Birthday guest with class....everyone got free dessert.
Great all round as always, food was excellent and so was the service!
The Aecon team.....
My stuffed chicken breast had more stuffing than breast which means it was not well balanced at all. My wife’s steak was served just warm not hot, even though it was served on a hot plate. Neither meal was worth the money we paid
We always have passed on the opportunity of going here because we're very loyal to The Keg and Copacabana, but we got a gift card for x-mas and thought we drive out to give it a try.
Ingrid our server was fantastic. She suggested certain cocktails, appetizers and even help us select our meals according to our lickings.
The food was amazing and very tasty. The sizzling plate literally kept our steak hot right to the end.
Steve who cleaned our table took the time to ask us how everything was and explained to us about his dining choices and how they do all their deserts in house.
We highly recommend this great find.
Thank you for the great experience.

We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary
and ordered two NY steaks which were amazing and perfectly cooked . The service was great
Sat in bar area. Great. Comfy. Perfect.
Been here many times but find food is not consistently good. My New Year dinner was not the same as before .
Expected a set menu like last New Year's Eve. I was great value and great food. This New Year's was just
the regular menu. Sorry, it's just ridiculously expensive. Can't say I'd do it again.
Steaks were overcooked.
Service was slow and the restaurant was not busy.
We had to constantly ask our server for things which I believe should have been offered when our food arrived at the table.
Food is always amazing. Went for New Year's Eve, was disappointed that they didn't have the fixed new year's eve menu this year. Even the Chef's specials weren't offered as indicated on the website.
We were given a one and a half hour dining limit which didn't allow us time to order dessert. One of our accompaniment items (french fries) didn't come out with the meal and our waiter wasn't around to inquire about it until we were half way through our meal. Even then he didn't seem to be very apologetic. After our plates were cleared, again, we didn't see our waiter for another 15 minutes and by then, our time limit was up, and weren't able to order dessert which I was really looking forward to.
Very disappointed in the service this visit and I have dined at Ruth's Chris well over a dozen times.
Dale was a fantastic server ! Food was amazing.
Good meal. Very good service from Lydia. Steak in the three course deal menu not quite up to what we’ve had at Ruth’s Chris in the past but still pretty good.
The meat was swimming in butter. I have been going to Ruth’s Chris for 30 years. Only time I have ever been disappointed.
Overall amazing food and service. Will definitely be coming back.
Arrived early for our 8:30 reservation & was told 3 separate times by the time we were seated that the kitchen closed @ 9pm we we'd have to rush. It makes not sense that they even offered this seating time for reservation. Overall, @$125/pp before tip ...this place has zero finesse.
Loved the place!
Andrew, our waiter, was outstanding. The steaks, crab cakes, sides, and lobster tails were all excellent served well and served hot. Although we didn’t have it, the seafood tower served next to us looked outstanding and the folks who had it demolished it in short order. This restaurant is at the high side of price but we have been several times and have never been disappointed. The quality is high, the service is attentive but not overly so, the value for the overall quality and service is worth it. Parking is easy and adequate. I wish we had a Ruth’s Chris closer to Guelph / Kitchener
As a big fan of RC, I can’t say this is the best location but it was not bad either. I’d prefer DT location better...
Dinner plates were child sized and had to eat the ‘family served’ side dishes off the bread plates. Grilled Shrimp were moist but absolutely cold. My youngest son’s child serving of petit filet was charged black crust on the top. The servers cleaning up the table after dinner were intrusive and physically leaned over us despite we were 4 sitting on an amply large table for 6. Was there celebrating my eldest sons birthday and first trip to Ruth Chris- not even offered a slice of cake or well wish meanwhile the table next to us were. Coat check person gave us 2 of our coats then disappeared and we had to wait til they seated 3 groups before we could get the remaining coats. Not worth the drive or expense. Very very disappointed. We would have had better service and price and hot food at the keg or canyon creek.
Crowded table and every was average except the bill
Had the beef tenderloin salad for lunch. The quality of the meat was excellent and well prepared and the cremini mushrooms were a nice part of the meal along with the salad. Very attractive décor and environment.
Far too expensive
Christmas with family that we won’t see on the 25th.
Annual office dinner we have been doing this for the past 7 yrs our staff loves going the everyone looks forward to go evert uear
I had great expectations for this place as I have been to most of the locations in the GTA. Really looking forward to my meal. The initial location they were going to put us in was right along the bathroom. Which we rejected, other option was another spot away from the bathroom , however this was avaiableon if we ate our meal within an allotted time . I hate to feel rushed. Then we went to sit near the bar which was pleasant. Our server was a little dazed. Forgot our desert and really the 18% tip that was recommend wasn't really warranted. Overall I would not go back and will not recommend.
New to this location. While very modern, it appears not as fancy as the previous Mississauga location and could be bigger. I remember Mississauga even having a piano player! Food was good. Steak happened to be over cooked. Nice ambiance and service was excellent. Pricey but known. Overall a good experience.
Everything was great
11oz filet with the side of mushrooms was FANTASTIC! Asparagus was very good, creamed spinach and shoestring fries were ‘meh’; go for the regular fries. Our waiter made an excellent wine suggestion, Joel Gott 2015 Cab Sav.
Service was great...
Food good but...
average really for the price!? $80 steaks with extra $ for any sides? $300 for dinner for two
as I said to my wife if you let me put a 1/4 cup of butter on my steaks and in my garlic mash potatoes the food at home would not be far off!? Honestly everything just had more butter and salt
Interior nothing special from where we were seated
Food and srevice was good. Would definately go again. It is pricey but worth it.
excellent steak, had the rib-eye and i dream about having it again! No other steak house comes close to the flavour and quality. Its a bit pricey but worth every morsel!
I took my fiance here for his birthday. We ordered wine and the waiter did not ask us how many oz, he immediately upsold to the biggest glass. We both were not able to finish it. He also never ended up bringing my dessert out. I will say that aside from that he was very knowledgable. Some of the food was tasty but most of it was just okay. I would probably not come back here for dinner. Maybe just apps. The food was expensive but nothing special. Not too impressed. I will stick to the keg which never dissapoints.
We went to this restaurant because we were looking for somewhere good to eat in the death zone that is the airport area. It is our fault that we didn't look at the menu before we went.
On the positive, the restaurant was quiet and comfortable, and the service was indeed very good.
The prices, however, were outrageous. There is no way that I would pay $66 to $120 for a grilled steak. Period. And this was a steak that came with no vegetables, which were $17 plus per vegetable.
I ended up having a decent salad ($15) and an appetizer of ravioli ($22 I believe) which was good, but too salty. That actually was enough food. The flourless chocolate cake was okay, but I make a better one myself.
I typically eat at high end restaurants only, where the effort goes into making beautiful and wonderfully tasty dishes with intense (ie. flavourful, reduced) sauces, and brilliantly cooked assorted vegetables designed to complement the overall meal. I have never minded paying top dollar at, for example, Michelin starred restaurants in France and elsewhere. However, there is no way that I would ever pay $100 to $150 for a grilled steak and a vegetable, however good it is.
Having said that, there were lots of people there, and they seemed happy. So I would just say, know before you go. If that is your thing, you might love it and feel that it was worthwhile.
Our server Georgia took amazing care of us and made our visit a truly memorable occasion!
The Chefs and kitchen staff did an amazing job and the food was actually better tasting than other locations I’ve been to!
Had a great night for dinner at Ruth Chris Steak house. Manager came around to see how we were doing during our meal. Staff (from the bartenders to the cleanup crew) made sure everything was okay during out stay. We had the price fixed menu which was more than enough. The only thing I wasn't too crazy over was the walnut cheese cake (Don't like anything cooked or baked with nuts) and there wasn't another option. Other than that it was a nice experience
The food was absolutely amazing from appetizers to main to desert . Hats off to the chef if they can continue to serve food like that I would be visiting every month !!
As always, the food was fantastic. The service was great as usual too. My favorite steakhouse in the city, without question.
