Andrea was a great server. Very happy with everything at Ruth's Chris tonight.

We came for Valentines Day and brought our two young kids. Service and food was amazing. We got some looks from other customers due to our kids, but the staff was very accommodating. The boys were well behaved and our meal was fantastic. A great way to celebrate the holiday. Thank you.

Out of soo the fancy restaurants I’ve been to, Ruth Chris Middleton was the most pleasant, respectful, and over the top in customer service. This place was awesome and was worth the travel from Milwaukee.

Overall it was very good. Jessica our waitress was excellent.

Everything was nice except for just a couple issues. We ordered asparagus with a Hollandaise sauce. The asparagus was very crunchy and tough, but even worse was the hollandaise. It was more like flavorless Mayo than anything resembling hollandaise. Disappointing. The other issue was that we ordered a relatively expensive bottle of Bordeaux which was poured through an aerator in to a decanter. This would have been fine except that when the aerator clogged with yeast sediment our server grabbed a spoon and pushed it through the screen so that the flow could resume. Not an appropriate method of serving wine.

They rushed us and they also reheated my food thinking I wouldn’t know because they had to remake my boyfriends food and it was his birthday she got our order wrong

Just average, which is disappointing for RCSH. It wasn’t terrible, but just a long way from their standard experience. Service was very slow with a long wait for nearly every step of the dining and paying process. Food was warm, but not hot and sizzling like usual.

My experience was absolutely amazing per usual when I dine with you guys.

Perfect date night atmosphere! The staff was all amazing, cocktails were great and of course the steaks were on point!

I have been to several Ruth’s Chris steakhouses. My filet in Madison was flavorless. Every time I have been to a Ruth’s Chris steakhouse the steak was brought out butter sizzling on the top and it was absolutely delicious. Here, was a different story. I was very disappointed.

Christmas celebration.

My husband and I went there for Chrismas Eve dinner. We shared a large steak and it was stellar, and I mean 5* stelllar. The cocktails were also really good, and had the fruit and chantilly cream dessert, love that too. Always look forward to special times at Ruth's Chris.

Young our waitress deserves a HUGE bonus. Amazing service, kind and kept our usual messy table very clean!

The service and ambience were excellent but the food not so much. They took away our favorite side dish - sauteed mushrooms and unfortunately both our steaks were overcooked. My husband ordered his filet medium - it came out well done and my NY strip was supposed to be medium rare and it was medium well done. Wanted to send them back but decided not to make more work for the busy serving staff.

Best experience we've had in awhile. Andrea was a fantastic server and she made our night. The food was on point and what we would expect from Ruth's.

Some mix ups on the food. My wife ordered the steak and shrimp, I ordered the steak and lobster. They ended up delivering both of us steak and shrimp. They picked the shrimp off my steak (a little weird; I would have thought they would take the whole plate back and redo it, even if they reused the steak) and later brought me a lobster tail. Then, when I cut into the steak (and my wife into hers) it appeared that they gave me her steak and her mine. So we passed our steaks back and forth across the table.

One thing I find odd about them is that when you order the flight dinner, which has a number of appetizer options (salads and soups), they charge $4 to substitute the chop salad for one of the salads or soups on the list, even though the chop salad is only slightly more expensive than the cheapest salad option available on the flight meal, and significantly less expensive than some of the available options (like the lobster bisque). Go figure. Nevertheless, it's worth it because the Ruth's Chris chopped salad is to die for.

Other than that, though, the meal and service were all fantastic.

Occasion was moving daughter to Madison for college.

Our server was incredible. He was extremely attentive and was aware of our sensitivity to garlic when he first approached our table and had all our options available that we could offer. The food was very good. The only slight flaw was they placed the salad dressing on the salad instead of on the side and the Ranch dressing was just a little too salty. Other than that, the steaks were magnificent, the potato and creamed spinach were excellent as well.

We celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversary and everything was great! Service was awesome and the complimentary dessert was a good way to end our dinner!!

We were celebrating a birthday and the table was decorated with Happy Birthday decor. The food was excellent and it made it a very enjoyable and memorable event, especially for our 2 kids who had never been to Ruth’s Chris before. My son and I split the 40 oz. Porterhouse and would do it again for sure! Definitely one of the top steak restaurants in this area.
