Ruth's Chris never fails to please!
Great bartender to a great waitress(Kana) it was a great night!! Need to get there more often.
Anniversary dinner; all staff was very attentive and wished us a wonderful celebration.
We had the Sunday celebration menu and everything was excellent and there was more than enough food. Jessica our server as end all that helped her were outstanding. Service was impeccable. Wonderful experience.
Excellent service. Food was excellent and generous portions. Too expensive for everyday dining.
Food was amazing tasted outstanding and the dessert was wonderful(Strawberry shortcake) was divine the steak that I had ordered medium rare came out perfectly and the temperature was perfect
and the shrimp was outstanding. We'll go there definitely again and again Amazing job over all. Server Ismael was GREAT
Everything was good. The food and the service were good. Unfortunately, my wife developed some ongoing back pain and we had to leave early. Thanks.
The service from our waitress & buser was awesome even the high level already set with Ruth Chris!!!
We went for Restaurant Week. The lMond crusted walleye was amazing! The creamed spinach was good. I ordered the fresh berries with cram for dessert; it was 5 berries in a dish of syrupy cream. I wiped the berries off and ate them. My friends enjoyed their steak and stuffed chicken, with mushroom side.
We all loved our dinners which is not always the case!
My steak was awesome. Best I've had in a long time. Andrea, our server, was wonderful. If I lived a little closer, I would go here more often.
My meal was excellent-never had a better steak-so tender and great flavor!!! Service was fantastic .
Too expensive for food that just didn't have a special taste and just did not "WOW!" us. The steaks were too salty, the service too formal/automated, and at least the wine was ggod!
Nice for special occasion dinner. Over the top service, good food but pricey. $11 for a small wedge salad is silly.
Simply Outstanding. Ismael as our server was superb
Absolutely LOVE the food here!
Excellent food as always! Had “Young” as our server and she was so pleasant! We have had her as our server before and we’re thrilled to have her again as we celebrated our anniversary!
It was my family’s first time dining here. Everything was perfect ! Food delicious and hot, great service , atmosphere relaxing and cozy. We will definitely dine here again. It was pricey -$$$$ but worth it.
Facility was beautiful the service was great but the food was totally over priced just to get fries was around $12. What we spent could have brought groceries for a week. Food prices not worth coming back for.
Service and attention by staff was great as always. Just both a bit disappointed with our filets. Very hot and presented well but overall quality of the cut wasn’t as good as our past visits.
Excellent food and environment. The service was good but a little slow.
The staff and our server Honee made our anniversary dinner so very special.
Everything we ate was so tasty. Always. Perfect steaks. Great selection. Delicious appetizers. Veggies and sides are perfect. Service is wonderful. Two things: 1. Bread and butter is not great. 2. The table next to us brought little kids. I have a lot of little kids. I go to an expensive restaurant to not be around little kids. They should not be allowed. It took away from the night.
Great food and Excellent service
Young was our server and provided lots of information about the menu items. Her service was attentive without being overbearing.
Service was impeccable and food is always great!!
This was an outstanding venue to celebrate a 45th anniversary with friends! From the pre-dinner cocktail in the bar, all the way through our three course meal, the service was excellent. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Thank you for another memorable visit.
everything was great but the BBQ Shrimp appetizer in a sauce wasn't as good as I had expected. I had been there several years ago and thought that the appetizer was a Cajun Shrimp that was outstanding
Our go to steak house. Great patio and fireplace. Our little sheltie love it as well...
Had a great dinner and wine for a birthday celebration!
Ishmael was a great waiter. He explained the menu well and described various combinations. The kitchen was really fast. So, although they pace your meal purposely, each course arrived just at the right time. The food, as always, was perfection. And my favorite part is desert and their Creme bouleé.
A bit to much salty seasoning on steaks. Otherwise food was great. Main issue:they really need to find a way to deflect the air conditioning away from directly on the table and guests- kept blowing out candle and needed sweater entire meal.
Great attention to detail. Really made us feel special! Our server Yound was outstanding and personable.
We like to have dinner at Ruth's Chris to celebrate special occasions. We went there on Sunday, May 12th for our anniversary. What I learned from this experience is not to go to Ruth's Chris on a night that coincides with other events - in this case Mother's Day and UW's graduation. While our food was great, service was very slow. For the price I don't want to be rushed, but we waited a long time for our waitress to stop at our table. She was very pleasant and obviously was working very hard. It made us wonder if they were short staffed. We order an appetizer and two glasses of wine. Our waitress explained their menu and said she would get our wine and two appetizer plates. After about 10 minutes our appetizer showed up, but we still hadn't received our wine or appetizer plates. No big deal as we just used our bread plates. A few minutes later we finally were served our wine, but had pretty much finished our appetizer. Not a big deal as we enjoyed our wine with our salads. After we finished our salads, the staff cleared our table and brought us plates to use for sharing our side dishes. From past experience I know this is a signal that dinner is about to arrive. But we waited several minutes more for our dinner. A member of the staff even started to drop off "doggie bags", but we explained those must be for another table as we still hadn't been serve our meal. A few minutes I saw that a large table near by had the same experience of getting "doggie bags" almost dropped in error at their table (like us they were still waiting for the meal). When our steaks arrived they weren't sizzling as usual. In fact my first bite was disappointing as the steak was not hot, but that first piece was cold. The steak was cooked perfectly and the rest of it was relatively warm (after all it is served on a hot plate). Our mash potatoes were warm, but not "steaming hot" as usual. My impression is that our meal probably was sitting in the kitchen for a few minutes before it was served.
Great place for Mother’s Day brunch. Thanks for a great experience!
Mother’s Day Brunch
Sorry to say this was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a Ruth’s Chris. We frequent the restaurant in Mpls and have always had stellar experiences. This was a grad celebration for our son and it was disappointing. We were seated a half hour late and only seated then because we pushed the host stand, yet when we got into the restaurant there were open tables. The only apology we received was from one hostess in the form of, we are very busy tonight so running behind. Well obviously the restaurant was too busy to handle the reservations they accepted. Poor management with a disappointing apology. Then, we were seated under an air conditioner which we, nicely, requested be turned off four times. We were assured each time that it would be. It finally was half way thru dinner. Our wait staff tried to light a candle four different times on the table. We kept explaining why it didn’t stay lit, air conditioning, but they tried which was funny. Khana and Alfredo were very nice but we never saw a manager which was disappointing. An apology or an offer of a beverage or dessert knowing it was a graduation dinner would have helped but nothing. Needless to say, we will not be back. Next year we ll be in town with a party of ten for our sons graduate degree. We ll be sure not to bother this restaurant with our large party.
Our celebration of our son’s graduation was delicious. Our food was perfectly prepared and well presented.
Busy busy night but not for our server Jessica! She was a rock star we loved her. Food was awesome, cocktails perfectly mixed and desert delectable. We went home with happy tummies.
Early dinner celebrating graduation along with most of Madison. But the standard of excellence was maintained very well. Sara was great
I would recommend to a rich friend or a friend who has a gift card, which is what brought us there. Otherwise it’s just too much to spend on a meal, regardless of the quality or the occasion.
Outstanding over all drinks, food, service!
