Ruth's Chris Steak House - Lake Mary

So I believe in honesty...Heres the deal...Went there on a Sunday night...Had a pretty good crowd. Ordered 2 large filets for the guys and 2 petite for the woman..al 4 came at the same time..Ordered mashed potatoes and creamed spinach...NO serving spoon with spinach was first issue..guys filets great..womans filets tough as rubber...waitress hard to find..called a buster over sent first one back..he said he would have replaced with a large one they are better, other woman tried to eat hers..rubber...sent it back within 1 minute of first..different waiter...1st one came back in record time..very good...2nd one came back petite....12 minutes later and tough as nails... COME ON..This is a steak house.. you mean to tell me that you couldn't take another medium rare filet and get it out right away? still no serving spoon, now have asked twice... again saw another busier asked for serving spoon...finally got it...so, by the time the serving spoon came and we got the 4th filet back the rest of us who were trying to be nice had cold filet...I eat at the one in Pittsburgh frequently....I go for the sizzle...not a cold filet...asked to see manager...she comped the 2 woman filet and bought a desert...I really dont want a free filet...I want what I came for...a great filet and great serving experience...They certainly missed their mark on this one....sorry, but I call it as I see it...would NOT recommend

Our waiter was great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we were placed at a table that was directly underneath the AC draft and we had to ask for cups of hot water to keep our hands warm. Our noses literally got cold! The service was a little slow and there was very little taste to the butter that you dip the lobster in but overall it was a good experience.

For a place that prides itself on it's steaks, they need to get that right. Seasoned well, but cook was way off on all 4 steaks. Either season your broccoli or put salt and pepper on the table. RC's food quality no longer can demand their pricing. The place has become more of a status symbol than a great steak restaurant.

Delicious dinner as always. The filet was outstanding and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the sweet potato mash. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our dinner Avery much and look forward to returning.

Unfortunately, not many by the glass wines are available, maybe one of each type. Also, no champagne by the glass is unusual for an upscale steakhouse.

The waitstaff was fantastic, the food even better.

Started off with a dirty table When they took the plate away because it had lettuce on it and it was stuck to the table cloth , they forgot to bring another plate .
The good was amazing, the waiter was very good .

It was wonderful to get out to a beautifully appointed restaurant. The drinks were delicious and the "happy hour" in the bar had a lot of choices. We ate in the dining room and ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer - unfortunately they came out only warm and the mushrooms were al dente. The prix fixe menu was a nice touch. The steaks were very good but honestly for the prices I have had at least as good or better. I used to go to the Ruth's Chris in NY quite a longtime ago but don't remember the prices being so extraordinarily high. Overall a nice experience but I might only come back for the bar menu.

Absolutely wonderful. My only negative was the choice of table. Despite it being very slow at the late hour, the hostess seated us at a table right in the middle of the room instead of at a more private booth. Awkward, but not horrible. But this inadvertently put us directly under the AC vent. We froze the entire evening. My wife was trying to cover her arms with the napkins, and our sides got cold within a minute. By the third bite, our spinach and au gratin potatoes were ice cold.

I love the Lake Mary location . It’s beautiful , almost like dining in a castle ! Cedric the server was fabulous !

Filets were not great. Service was rushed. Side dish was not hot. Bernaise sauce on the side was a tablespoon at most. Disappointing

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner! Wonderful food, atmosphere and servers!

My husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law went to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. We were seated promptly. When making the reservation I has asked for some kind of small cake or special dessert as a surprise to mark the occasion. When we arrived at our table we saw the table decorated with Happy Birthday themed confetti, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the drinks and wine were great. At dessert time they brought out a large plate with chocolate covered berries and profiteroles and Happy Birthday written in chocolate. All in all it was a fantastic experience.

Servi e was pretty good as drinks were always filled but times between courses were inconsistent. Our Tuna appetizer came out within three minutes of ordering and tasted as thought it was “seared” hours ago. My wedge salad could have doubled as ice cubes for the carafe of water that was left on the table as the center was completely frozen, not to mention the lettuce wedge was yellow. My wife’s steak was cooked very well however my ribeye was slightly overdone. The creamed spinach was very good but the lobster Mac was obviously re-heated as it tasted old and was barely warm. Also for a Mac and cheese side it was overly dry which was a dead give away this was re-heated. Desserts (bread pudding and crepe. Rule) were mediocre. It was certainly not what I would have expected from this establishment. Overall it was average but given the prices I would have to say slight less than average.

Date night for my wife and I and we were excited to be revisiting one of our favorite places. The food was excellent and the service was too. It was quite noisy and they really seemed to have shifted back to a high capacity of diners. The only complaint I had was with the appearance of the little corner nook we were placed. The walls had food splattered on them and the area didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a few days, there was still confetti on the table from a previous party.

Arrived early for our reservation and it was not an issue. Nicely seated by the Restaurant’s GM! Appetizer of Veal Osso Buco Ravioli was incredible! Salads are not usually outstanding but my wife and I both said it was the best we’ve ever had. For entree we both selected the Filet and Shrimp. Cooked perfectly and served on a 500 degree plate. Cheesecake desert has fresh berries that were a great complement and perfectly ripe. Service by Jeanette and Sofia could not have been better. Timing between courses was terrific. Outstanding meal!

The waitstaff seemed a bit thin... we were taken to a table with one place setting and had to ask for 3 more sets. Maybe understaffed?

We absolutely LOVED Ruth’s Chris Steak House! The atmosphere was warm, elegant and personal. Although we made reservations on Valentine’s Day our experience was absolutely outstanding, from the Hostess to our waiter Michael, we were so delighted with such a wonderful experience.

We will come back very soon.

We were seated in the very back of the house, so although the food was good, we were nowhere near the main dining room and the ambiance suffered.

We had a business dinner and when they confirmed the morning of the reservations I requested a quiet out of the way place and they were very accommodating and the setting was perfect. Great filet as always!

Food and service were outstanding! They sat us in a separate room so we were not concerned risking going out to dinner because of covid. Excellent experience!
