    $600 for dinner for 4 should blow you away, and this didn’t. One diner had a very undercooked, tough steak, and the sides were just ok. Overall, very overpriced for what you get

    There are MANY more places in Knoxville that serve a much better steak. The steak was not bad but definitely not worth the price. Also, I make better potatoes and brussel sprouts at home.

    My wife and I both chose the Ruth Cris Classic with the filet and shrimp and shared the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Everything was superbly prepared. The service was impeccable! The only thing that could have been improved upon was a blinding sun coming in from the west, but little could have done for that. I highly recommend!!

    We ordered 2 filets and neither steak was cooked to the order requested. Fries were cold. Sent back and still not fresh. Other veggies were good. Service was good but slow to refill drinks .

    Stephen was a fantastic server. He had great recommendations for all of the different parties in our group. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. He was attentive and personable. The food was delicious as usual and a special treat for a business meal. We will definitely be back.

    Reservation at 4:45 for a party of 2, and we weren’t seated until after 5:30. Several other tables seated around us were greeted, given water, and their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged us. The waiter was less than friendly, and he was slow to take our order. We did have one food allergy and made it very clear. Everyone else around us received their food, ate, left, and the tables re-seated before we ever received our food. Then, when it did arrive, my chop salad was covered in the allergen I specified, and the staff acted inconvenienced when I kindly asked for a replacement, which arrived 10 minutes later with zero flavor and missing ingredients that were supposed to be present. The main course took another 30 minutes to arrive (2 filets medium), and when we cut into them, they were as rare as rare gets - purple. I filleted them and placed them on the hot plate to continue cooking, and they were eventually edible, which is more than I can say for the garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were mealy, watery, unflavored, and tasted raw. Our waiter was disinterested in us from the start, so I asked for a manager just to inform him that his staff had missed the mark so badly. He barely apologized and brought another bowl of potatoes, which were equally inedible. I have dined at some of the best steakhouses in the world, including Wolfgang’s and Peter Luger’s, and Ruth’s Chris was nothing but a colossal disappointment. I would have rather eaten at a local taco truck.

    Last 2 times Ive eaten at the Knoxville location my Filet has had a big piece of gristle in it. Every part of a filet should be edible. The rest of the food was very good but since this is a steakhouse, the steaks should be better than the last 2 I have had there.

    Two of our steaks came out undercooked. They were put back on to cook but this caused an increase in toughness due to the meat already being cut. Server kept making weird comments to my wife and the whole table. Food was okay but not worth the price. There are much better places for a steak in the greater Knoxville area.

    The setting was nice, however we were sat next to a group of obnoxious customers who used profanity and were entirely too loud for us to enjoy our night as we wanted. Overall the experience was good, but would have been better if not for this group.

    This experience at Ruth's Chris was somewhat disappointing. I've been to Thanksgiving service at Ruth's Chris several times before, and this was by far the worst service I've experienced. The food was very good, but I wasn't wowed. The service was very subpar. The service was slow and not what I expect or have come to enjoy from Ruth's Chris. And, the most unexpected issue was dirty plates and drinking classes. I understand Ruth's Chris was sold anther group. Clearly the standard has lowered, too.

    We dined inside for Thanksgiving dinner and then ordered an extra Thanksgiving dinner to go for the person that was not able to join us. I was extremely disappointed in the to go meal that we paid the same price for as the meals we enjoyed while dining in. The to go meal was terrible. There were no sides or dessert included in the meal that we ordered and paid for. There was no gravy on the turkey and the Caesar salad had no cheese in it. Just Romain lettuce and croutons. The turkey was not nice big slices like we received on our plates while dining in. Instead it was a few end pieces. It was very disappointing to pay $44 and receive a partially made salad, turkey ends, a spoonful of dressing and a spoonful of cranberry sauce. We will never order anything to go from here again. This is not what I would expect from Ruth Chris. Needless to say I feel very bad for the person whom we got this meal for as they were cheated out of their Thanksgiving dinner they were so looking forward to.

    We went on Thanksgiving where we were offered the choice between a 3 course Turkey dinner or the option to order off their regular menu. We chose to order steak…fabulous, as always. It appeared that the Turkey dinner was generous as many were taking home leftovers. We would definitely go again.
