confusion when being seated by host.
he started to speak to another table
didn’t give us an ipad so we were just standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting to be seated. very awkward.
steak was not cooked the way i asked but it was corrected.
Our server Jordan provided exceptional service. Our food was awesome especially the Ravioli and Seared Ahi Tuna, the lobster bisque was good but a little greasy, the steaks were cooked to perfection! We enjoyed our meal and everyone was very nice. The bartender also served an excellent lemon drop Martini. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Thank you so much for a great time. I love the food and the people that work there!
I took clients to a really nice restaurant for some good quality food. When ordering our appetizer they were out of the 2 dishes that the server recommended. It was the calamari and the mushrooms. Server came back and said they were out. Kinda weird for such a popular dish. Then when order we ask for a stuff bake potato and they said they can not make it. Steakhouse can't make bake potato was unheard of. Reservation was 12pm but did't get out til 2pm. Service was slow for a restaurant that was not even busy that day. Overall was disappointed with service and food and a bit embarrassed taking clients out. Ruth Chris in the past was never like this. Perhaps it's the location.
Graduation and son obtaining his drivers license
Bathrooms are in the hotel, not restaurant. Atmosphere seems like a knights of Columbus or community building. Food super expensive and not that amazing compared to
Other high end steak houses. Service was good but would not repeat
While the service was good and the restaurant was very beautiful, the food left a lot to be desired for what I was expecting. This was not my first time dining at Ruth’s Chris but was my first time at this location. For the money, the food should have been spot on. It wasn’t.
Lori was amazing and extremely attentive! Byars made us the most beautiful seafood tower!
Fantastic dining experience! Steak & shrimp was awesome. Our waitress, not sure of her name, was very attentive. I plan on coming back once a month. No substitute for the best.
I was there for my anniversary on May 24, 2018 and because my wife had never been to Ruth Chris I really thought this would be a great dinner experience for the both of us. We were asked at least three time if it was a special occasion and we said it was our anniversary. We don't know why the questions were asked because there was not a follow up. However the service from the waiter and the atmosphere was very good. The food was below average. My wife had the 6oz filet and I had the 11oz filet and both came out charred and tough. I was embarrassed and disappointed that I brought her there because I had spoken so highly of the restaurant from my past experience. The side creamed spinach and creamed potatos was average at best. The bread, wine, and dessert was good. We were disappointed in the quality of the food relative to the price. My experience with the food quality and preparation at the downtown Atlanta location was superior in comparison. Fell short of expectations overall. I note others have had similar experiences.
Wonderful service and pretty delicious steaks. Side dishes were a bit disappointing, but dessert helped make up for that. Glad we tried it, But it is very pricey and not sure if it’s 100% worth the money.
We had never been to this restaurant before. I had a gift card for $75 and my wife and I decided to give it a try on a week day for a 4:30 pm reservation. WE did the Porterhouse steak dinner for 2 with mashed potatoes and a Caesar Salad. The food was very good. I love the fact that the food came out on heated plates which kept the steak and potatoes HOT. You could still hear the steak "sizzling" when they brought it out. I'm a bread eater and the bread that was brought out was very good. We split a dessert as well. "Lex" took very good care of us and we feel fortunate to have had her. This is a very high end restaurant and the prices reflect that so be aware. We definitely will go back but only for "special" occasions.
Very, very overrated on the quality of prime and aged beef. Ordered porterhouse for 2 salad ,and grilled asparagus. Asked for medium rare. Overdone. Couldn't see the color when served because the lights are to low. Asparagus tasted like bamboo. Salad so so. When I have had prime and aged before you don't need a knife to cut it. This was tough as nails. Didn't complain as this was our first visit on our 29th wedding anniversary and didn't want to upset my wife. Have had much better at home. Very overrated for the money. Best was the wine. Realize a 3 inch + cut is hard to cook to perfection but I have done it more than once.
Steak was a little under cooked but was still very good! It was very good overall.
This was my first time visiting a Ruth's Chris steakhouse. The food was phenomenal and the service was exceptional. This will be a regular place for my wife and I to visit.
Everything was fine, but EXTREMELY overpriced. Only went here because we got it as a wedding gift.
The night started good with appetizers coming out relatively quickly then the dinner came out a probably 5 mins after the appetizers were cleared. We had calamari which was fantastic. The steaks were done medium as requested and tasted great. The Mac 'n Cheese had a green chili taste which the waitress said you can't taste it - unfortunately our daughter wouldn't eat this because of the taste. Additionally, the brussel sprouts were underdone. Basically, they know how to do steaks but not so much when it comes to sides. The issue came in when we finished dinner. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to come back to check on us (7:45p-8:05p!). We were frustrated but my wife and daughter went ahead and ordered dessert and I ordered a coffee which I got 5 minutes later. Finally, the waitress came back at 8:40p - 55 minutes after we had finished dinner - to tell us the desserts should be coming out shortly at which point we cancelled the dessert. No one came by including the manager and all the tables around us emptied out so no one was around to catch to get them to get our waitress... and they were not busy at that time. In any case, the manager did knock off an appetizer from the check, but he did not visit to apologize. It had been maybe 3-4 years since I'd been to Ruth's Chris in Kennesaw because of issues - same issues, different year.
The service was excellent, however the steaks were sub-par. I’ve had far better quality steaks at far better prices. Doubt I will eat there again. For a $450 meal, I expect my steak to be perfect. My dogs loved it though.
It was my first time in this location. It was understandably smaller than most RC restaurants. The staff we well trained and attentive.
Great steaks! Great sides. It was awesome. Unfortunately with a family of 4, the price point is out of my reach to dine regularly or I’d be waiting at the door daily to try another steak!! Great experience though!
Our waiter was not very good.
He did his job but lacked the attentive that we pay the extra money for.
He forgot to refill our drinks more than once and was rude when I asked about the Mother’s day gift card that was offered online.
All he needed to say was that Kennesaw was not a participating location.
The sweet potato casserole is no longer as good as it used to be either. Very dry and no crust top. The filet was perfect.
Good dining experience. Waiter wanted to make sure everything went well. Staff was very kind and professional.
It was horrible the manager Scott is perjorative and rude
Server very attentive and it’s the best place for a good quality steak. Well worth the money!
Up to par ambiance and food ... waitress service was very poor = brought soup, then entree before soup was even finished, resulting in entree getting cool before being eaten ... had to pour own bottle of wine, except for the last pour, which was uneven -- just a couple of drops for my guest
Just about the reservation. We only had six in our party and at 11 oclock they said we couldn't get in until 2pm. On open table I got us in at 1pm. The thing about it was it that when we got there there was plenty of room. probably only 5-6 tables were filled. Just was very odd and they should be embarrassed that they portrayed themselves to be so booked. -- Steak was very good. The scalloped potatoes needed more flavor. - Our waitress was very nice!
As outstanding as the service was, the food was even better!
Don't offer the waters. The "Water Person" only slightly mentioned the regular ice water at the very end. At that point i felt uncomfortable changing. Too damn expensive.
The food is wonderful, pricey but the food is much better quality than the average restaurant.
Very nice for any special occasion.
Out of two items we ordered
Food can out at different times
Waiter forgot our side. It came halfway through the meal and was not cooked properly
We eat at this location often. Never recognized
Food was great! Atmosphere was wonderful, service was excellent. Our waiter was Joe and he was awesome! We went for our Anniversary, first time there, will definitely go again.
First time to this Cris location. Brian was a most attentive waiter frequently checking on our table. Avery enjoyable dining experience.
I was very disappointed that the chef was unable to cook my filet properly considering steak is their specialty. It was way undercooked on both attempts to get it right. I had to send it back the first time as it was cold in the center and the second attempt I just ordered it medium and it was still rare. I would choose another steak house in the future.
We usually come here on special occasions. This time being our anniversary. Our waiter was very friendly and the service was outstanding. Food is always great especially the steaks.
The waitress was not personable. She was very stoic. We felt rushed. We were seated right in front of the banquet room which was a lot of traffic. The lobster was dry and over cooked. The steak was the best part of the evening. We saw the manager go to everyone around us and enquire about the meal and service but did not address us. It was my first time at Ruth Chris and I was not pleased.
This is where my wife wanted to go for our anniversary dinner. We we seated for 20 minutes before we were greeted by two different assistants. Our appetizer came out before our bottle of wine that we ordered. Our medium rare steaks took 35min and my porterhouse was medium at best. After finishing our meals, be sat for another 30min before any decided to clear the table. This isn’t the type of service you expect from Ruth Chris and that price tag. Very disappointed.
The entire staff from beginning to end were great. Food came out promptly and the special attention due to our anniversary went over very well. It helped make the entire evening. Our Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Joe
well worth the time and money for a great meal. Looking forward to the next time we go there
