Awesome date night! Food is amazing. Great riverfront views of downtown Jacksonville! Valet parked for $8 at the hotel that it is in, ate dinner, then walked the Riverwalk (by friendship fountain).

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Jacksonville FL. Our server, Matt, and his team were superior in every way and made the experience memorable. Because they knew in advance of our celebration yesterday evening, they stepped up and made it even better. From rose pedals on the table cloth, a card acknowledging the event signed by all staff members waiting on the table, and a superb complimentary dessert topped off the evening. Oh, and let’s not forget what we expected when we made the reservation...outstanding dinner in an outstanding setting.

Always delicious. Not a fan of the shoestring fries. Service was excellent.

I asked for a specialty cocktail and the bartender accommodated me. I received a fabulous martini.
Derrick was an awesome waiter. Just the right amount of attentiveness and space.
Steak was perfectly cooked. Our evening was very enjoyable.

As always, one of the most delicious steaks I've ever had. Bananas Foster cheesecake was delicious, too. I just wish this was a more affordable option. Until then, it's rare to treat ourselves to this restaurant.

I have decided Ruth Chris steaks tops, both Morton's and Capital Grill, hands down!

The BEST steakhouse in Jacksonville! Tried River & Post, New York strip tough, overcooked and chewy. Filet ordered medium and came rare. Forget about having a cocktail on the roof.... 'sippers' occupy all the tables. Cowford, OK bit still had us running back to Ruth's Chris! Tried and always true!

Had to request used tableware to be removed from table between courses. Disappointed for RC!

The service was slow, despite our early dining time. The Caesar salad was poorly tossed with at least 50% of the salad having no dressing on it at all. The croutons were not fresh. My husband and I both ordered the 11 oz filet cooked medium. They were both improperly prepared, and were served "well done". The creamed spinach was room temperature when served. The au gratin potatoes were not their usual quality. We keep hearing that the quality of the food here has really deteriorated but wanted to give it a chance. We had been at the Ponte Vedra location a few weeks back and had a wonderful experience. Someone needs to look at the chef/kitchen. Lastly, if you're going to have a dress code (and we believe you should), you need to enforce it. A "biker" and his wife, in cut off jeans and wife beater t-shirt sat beside us.

This visit was better than our previous. Still doesn’t compare to Atlanta locations.

Always wanted to be treated like I was a millionaire. Each and every time I come to Ruth Chris I feel that way. Our server Matthew was outstanding he made sure to use our names and to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Truly a great experience.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant since the 1st of the year. I was disappointed both times with service. My first visit was on a Saturday night and it seemed like the waiter in charge was trying to rush us out. In fact, we were out pretty quickly for this type of restaurant - 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This second visit was just the opposite. I think the wait staff was stretched and things moved very slowly.
The main reason for going to this restaurant, in my opinion, is the service. The food is good but the service over the past years is usually spectacular. In the past, I've never had to sit with an empty drink or wait for someone to offer more bread or clean the table when it was needed. This time, the team did not seem to have it together. Orders were mixed up (sides not served) and directions not followed (wrong dressing on salad).
I usually visit this restaurant 4-6 times per year. But after these two experiences, I am not anxious to go back.

Always enjoy this restaurant, great waterfront views and great food!

Great place to dine

Service and Food were excellent - We enjoyed the selections, our server was well versed in the fare. I highly recommend this Ruth's Chris. This is our 4th or 5th visit and it is much better than their restaurants in South Florida.

Service was not up to typical RC standards. Slow to bring drinks, refill coffee, etc

We were warmly greeted at the door and seated with a wonderful view of the city. Siyana's service was excellent, and her assistants kept our glasses filled and our table free of debris. From our first anniversary ten years ago to our eleventh this weekend, Ruth's Chris provides a beautiful place to celebrate!

We were celebrating my son's 30th birthday on March 4th. As always, everything was wonderful - including food, service and atmosphere! Ruth's Chris is our favorite place to dine for a special occasion. <3

I was celebrating my birthday which usually I don’t acknowledge my birthday but I did this time because it was with my mother. My mother is terminal and I don’t know how much time I have with her and she wanted to do something special the first place I thought of was Ruth Chris

All I can say was a perfect evening. The waiter was outstanding. He was only toped by the taste and quality of the food. 10 out of 10, great dinner and romantic view.

Ruth's Chris never disappoints. This has to be a 'go-to' for special occasions. It is in the higher end of the price spectrum for Jacksonville, but for something like a big wedding anniversary (like ours) or a college graduation, etc... this place is awesome!

Actually, for the two of us, the bill wasn't out of this world. We each had nice entries, sides and drinks and the total was in the $150 range, including gratuity. You could spend as much at some of the other 'Name' steak places in town, but we know that Ruth's Chris will always be excellent and well worth it.

The service is outstanding and you can't beat the view.

The only negative was the high price for valet parking, but I'm sure that is a hotel issue and not anything to do with the restaurant.
