We had two servers by the name of Tyler & Lyle. They were both outstanding & made a great team. Also, the manager (did not catch his name, unfortunately) came over twice during the course of our two-hour dinner to check in with us & ensure that we were comfortable & happy. Outstanding service as well as food.

We have been going to Ruth’s for years for special occasions. This is the second visit in a row that the service was lacking, and the quality of the food was not what it used to be. I had to ask for drink refills (including water) several times throughout the night, one of the steaks had to be sent back (happened last time, too), multiple requests had to be made for the same item and the table remained cluttered with empty glasses. The entire experience was not what I expect for an almost $600 dollar dinner.

Had a wonderful dinner. Beautiful view of the river. It was our anniversary & our table was decorated for the occasion. Food was wonderful. Matt, our server was great, so was Amanda his assistant. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Everything happened in slow motion. Our reservation was at 8;00 we were promptly seated then the wait began......9:30 they brought our food..... had a late appointment at 10:00 pm.. seriously disappointed spoke to manger.....he confirmed what i just said was true. For a training store someone need to be retrained. Server and server attendant.. non existent as far as service rendered.... Ruth Chris used to be my place of choice...its kind of like longhorns now...except longhorns is reasonably fast paced. What has happened? and i don't think its fair blaming it on the kitchen as the server did..I don't care if we aren't the only table that has complained...my opinion....

We had a pleasant time at Ruth’s Chris. The food was really good. I had the filet and lobster tail, both cooked perfectly. And we also ordered the rack of lamb, we asked for it rare and it was raw so that was the only downside as far as the food goes. Our service on the other hand was so slow. We had to ask for our drinks, both water and purchased, to be refilled multiple times and it was about an hour from getting my soup until our mains came out, while all the other tables around us ate and left before ours even came out. They forgot our dessert and we finally said we’ll just take it to-go as it was coming up on closing time (10p) and we’d been there since 7:15p for our reservation. Overall we had a nice time out because we were splurging and tried to enjoy ourselves.

They were a little late seating us so we did not have time for appetizers or dessert but our waiter was very prompt and made sure we were served our salads and our outstanding tender tasty steaks with sides in plenty of time to make our concert with time to spare. The steaks are always outstanding! Of course you must have the creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes! Can’t wait to go back.

My main course chicken was somewhat over cooked, my daughter’s 16 oz for $69.00 was completely not done when she ordered well done, steak was dry & not tender once done. My sides were almost cold when we received them . Been to Ruth Chris several times but this time as far as the food was the worst. My server was outstanding. My husband and I had our wedding and reception here back in 2021 were spend over $4000.00 never even gotten a complimentary dinner or a gift card to return later in the future.

This is our go-to place for any significant occasion and we loved this place, food, and service. But last night was not happy with any of them. Lamb Chops were out after they took my order, the noise too high from the other tables. If you are looking for any specific menu items etc, I suggest calling them before you go. But still, I will give it a shot!

I have never had a bad experience- I asked that my petite filet be medium well but still pink - and we ordered the salmon and asked that it be well done: the salmon was raw and the steak was horrible - way overcooked. We have dined here a few times and will always come back! Seated outside, overlooking the river, we enjoyed the sunset and warm temperatures. The lobster bisque was very good, and nothing beats a Ruth Chris steak as they drizzle it with butter and broil it briefly before serving. Best steaks ever! We’d also like to mention our server David. He took excellent care of us and made our visit the best one yet. Thank you!
