Took about 10 minutes to be seated for a 530 reservation then at least another 10 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order. stuffed chicken arrived unstuffed. Service was friendly, but not quick. Not our best experience at Ruth Chris.

Very disappointed in the quality at Ruth Chris Steak house. It used to be excellent from service to food. It was our wedding day and the hostess was great and congratulated us. The waiter asked what are you in for? There was a photo on the table of us that said married and their card that said congrats! Poor communication with the staff! I was so surprised they didn't offer us a glass of champagne or dessert! Any other restaurant would have done so. They switched their bread from the local bakery French pantry to a lackluster sour dough. The baked potato outside was not salted was bland, the asparagus was overcooked and so thin, and the rib eye lacked flavor. The chopped salad was unforgettable! They never refilled the water once the busser put a carafe on the table after spilling ice all over the table when pouring the first glass. They never crumbed the table! Very disappointing to say the least! Way to expensive in this day in age to have mediocre service and food! Head to Cowford Chophouse to get excellent food and service!

Filet Mignon and shrimp were poor quality, lobster bisque had no lobster and I realized after we left we didn’t get the crab stuffed mushrooms we paid for. I e been here many times and it was better than this. It’s gone way down hill. For $350 for 4 people there are many better choices. I won’t be back.

Celebrating an important event - we secured a table facing the St. Johns River with a nice view of Jacksonville's downtown. Service was excellent. I had requested some sparkles for the table and a dessert with congratulations was written in chocolate to enhance our celebration. Steaks were prepared perfectly. Great cocktails and wine. Bread and Water service was always timely.

Words don’t do justice to how great the food is here. The Filet is the best steak you will find anywhere and the augratin potatoes are amazing. If you haven’t been you are missing out. If you have been, what are you waiting for, because you already know. This is our favorite restaurant hands down.

Ruth’s Chris view of the St John’s River and downtown is beautiful and the food is always stellar and worth the high price. The last several times we’ve been for dinner the service has been consistently disappointing. In addition, the Doubletree Hotel of which one has to walk through to get to Ruth’s Chris looks unkept, has dirty carpet, smells musty, and has special event customers hanging out, being loud and sometimes intoxicated right in front of Ruth Chris entry. This is very distracting in a negative way. Might be time for the restaurant chain to move its location to a more vibrant spot.

Annual birthday celebration, always at RC. Excellent service. 2 steaks arrived , one overcooked , the other undercooked. Staff responded immediately & corrected both discrepancies while expressing sincere apologies. Everyone enjoyed the meal and we plan on returning for future special occasions.

I have been to many Ruth’s Chris in the US and this food was sub par. The filet was hard- not tender. The lobster was over salted. The cream spinach was watery. I was very disappointed.

My wife ordered filet medium and it came out medium rare. I ordered a ribeye medium rare it came out medium. We sent them back and they still weren’t right. Sent it back a second time and again still wasn’t right. We finally gave up And just swapped our steaks. Steaks were hardly seasoned too.

We book here yearly for the light boat parade and we book one year in advance requesting a window seat. We also stay in the hotel. They did not honor the window request despite me telling them and they can see how far ahead we requested this. We missed the light boat parade because we couldn’t see from our table that was far away. The food is always good and the server was nice. A window table also opened up just as we ordered drinks and I asked to be switched and they said no. Disappointing to say the least.

The seabass had a strong fishy smell and taste to it. The cowboy ribeye was nothing but fat and grease. Everything tasted like it was just microwaved and served.

Wonderful, seated on time. Amanda took our order when we were ready. Meal prepared perfectly. Restaurant was busy but we never felt the rush or chaos. Excellent place to view the boat parade. Amazing evening to kick off the holidays!

Usually we thoroughly enjoy our experience at Ruth’s Chris, but this time wasn’t the case. Of course it was a busy night, but the rowdy table next to us made for a terrible dinner. They were hollering vulgarities and hitting on the wait staff. They had no class whatsoever. The side dishes were considerably smaller than previous trips here, and the temperature was barely warm. However the filet was superb. Our party could hardly hold a conversation because of the raucous crowd. The management did nothing about it, but our waitress did apologize to us.

I recognize it was Thanksgiving but it was way overbooked. It was too loud. The service was slow. Too top it off my bone in rib eye had no flavor. This is the first time I have been disappointed.

We had Kenny as a server, and we also had Ethan as our bus boy. They were absolutely exceptional and they deserve a raise. We had the best time and the food was so good. We had the Thanksgiving holiday meal all three of us, and we had not been out together for a couple decades, me and my sister, so it was very special, and Kenny and Ethan made it even more so thank you so so much, I hope you continue to do the Thanksgiving dinner every year. This is my fourth year. Thank you.

Highly overpriced for the quality of food served. T-Bone was undercooked and sinewy; lobster tail was broiled until it was tough; sea bass was "stinky" and old. Service was mediocre. We will not be back.

Love Ruth Cris For their unique service and care. We had a little wait For our first Salad serving. The restaurant was Very Full because of holiday. Love the Filet and shrimp. My favorite place to celebrate.

We had a delicious meal with Larry as our server. Felt Larry was gracious without being overbearing. Food was perfectly cooked and were happy to be able to take some home for later. Beautiful views of the river made for a perfect Thanksgiving!
