Our favorite restaurant. Quite pricey, so we can’t go often, but great for birthdays and anniversaries.

Birthday celebration. They remembered right away (I added it to the Open Table reservation). Sprinkled birthday sequins on the table for us. Busy Friday night but waitperson was very attentive.
I have been to Ruth's Chris all of North America and Hong Kong. I was disappointed on a number of fronts -- firstly, I made a reservation but was told that my table was not ready when I arrived. I was not offered a seat in the bar . I was expected to wait in the entrance way with people moving around.
The venue was crowded - seats too close together. I had on both sides of my table plating and serving areas for the servers so I was constantly hearing clashing and banging.
Was not impressed overall.
The best side dish ever made “sweet potato casserole”. The 3 course menu with an upgrade to this is a great value. Great steaks. Highly recommend it.
We were celebrating a family birthday and our server Gail made the occasion even more special.

We dined at Ruth’s Chris this weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Chris was amazing and really helped make our celebration special. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back!
We enjoy coming probably 4 to 5 times a year for birthdays, special occasions and when the kids make the honor roll which is about
every three months.
Great steaks, great and personal serve and attention to everything when we go there. Always a favorite meal with the kids and us adults.

Our experience at the Irvine Ruth Chris was amazing. We usually dine at the Beverly Hills location. Our server Gail was very nice and attentive. It was our daughters first time eating at a steak house with and they loved their experience as well. It was all due to Gail and her wonderful service. We will definitely be coming back to this location in the near future.
Everything was fantastic, as usual. One of our favorites, the laonese potatoes was taken off the menu a while ago and has been brought back but it’s not nearly as good. Please bring back the original ones!!!!

Room was loud. Table was rickety and lopsided. Server dropped 2 plates on my father in laws shoulder and spilled liquid butter and silverware all over ruined his shirt. “Manager” came over and was trying to be funny about it the situation. It wasn’t funny. Not professional at all. Gave his business card for dry cleaning bill. Not worth it. Shirt ruined.

Our server James was great. Other than noise level and adjoining seating was about 6” away. Every thing was fine.
Just a great date experience. Food was great, dessert was awesome, creme brûlée was the best we ever had. Service was jist the right amount of chatter and interruption. Will return.
This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food is always perfect - the service is always good - the reception upon arrival is always professional and warm. I love this restaurant and even though it is easily 50 minutes from my home, it is well worth the drive!
Service was outstanding, but their pricing was so high for the quality and quantity of food you get. Steaks were undercooked and we sent them back. Not the old Ruths Chris I remember.
Ruth's Chris is extremely noisy. The Wait Staff is friendly and courteous. The quality of the food was mediocre, and I expected a higher level.

Went with party of six for birthday celebration. Food and service were both awesome. Restaurant is a bit loud so it was hard to hear conversation. Still, if you want an awesome steak or crab cakes, there isn’t any better place!
THE SERVICE WAS AVERAGE. ALTHOUGH THE RESTAURANT WAS ALMOST EMPTY WHEN WE WALKED IN, IT TOOK THEM 7-8 MIN FOR THE WAITER TO COME TO US.
My very first time at Ruth's Chris and everyone warned me it would be extraordinarily expensive. They have valet, but we chose to park and walk in, since this would already be pricey. The decor was beautiful and the ambiance was nice. The service was great and they sat us immediately. They brought us bread and butter and helped us through their menu and specials. Since it was going to be expensive, we split a meal, but it came with soup, steak, lobster and a dessert. The soup was tomato crab, and the flavors were excellent. The steak and lobster was truly amazing, and they served it with a slight layer of burnt butter underneath which was still sizzling. I tell you, it was the BEST steak and lobster I have ever had. For dessert, we upgraded to the creme brulee which was awesome. Totally worth spending the money for this place. It's for a special occasion, due to the prices, but the food was just so outstanding, it blew us both away. We'll be returning to this place for YEARS to come. Bravo!!!

We had a very pleasant meal Sunday night. However, we prefer the steaks at Morton's Steak House. We felt the steaks arrived on a hot plate floating on butter. Not to our taste. There was really nothing that I could point to that was in any way outstanding. I'd give the meal a rating
of "B".
Not only was our server top notch but the food came out amazing. I got the NY Strip which was absolutely perfect and very flavorful. My wife got the Filet with twin lobster tails (Restaurant week) menu. She was loving the lobster as she has been disappointed in the past. I am not a huge lobster fan myself but I found the lobster quite amazing. Overall great food. It was pretty noisy but most of the noise came from one table celebrating a birthday. I definitely will be coming back.

Our Experience at Ruth Chris was a very Pleasant one. The Steaks were amazing as usual. No one in our Party complained about their steaks. The bread was fresh. Salads were good. Mashed potatoes were just right. We like to add the mushrooms on the side. The Red wine that we paired with our dinner was Excellent. We ended up with 2 bottles. The only complaint that we had was that we had to ask to lower the lights because it was glaring. Also, it was very warm in the room. Wasn't sure if that was because we were full or if there was too many people in the room but it was pretty warm. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
This place it little bit pricey for regular menu, but during happy hours and OC restaurant week, they have good deal.
Deliscious food as usual!! Initially we were disappointed at location where we were seated; we had indicated we were celebrating our anniversary and they seated us next to a table of 4 who were loud and obnoxious - using very filthy language. We asked to move and we were moved quickly; we appreciated this but wondered why this group of 4 were tolerated st all! Unlike a Ruth's Chris classy atmosphere!

We went to Ruth's Chris to take advantage of their special OC Restaurant Week menu offering. We had been there before and had high expectations for the food quality and service. My family all ordered their filet mignon cooked differently...one medium rare, one medium and one medium-well. Unfortunately, there wasn't much difference in the look of the finished steaks. The medium well was a thinner cut and the medium rare was slightly more pink in the middle but, other than that, they all looked and tasted about the same. The steaks there are always delicious but, for the price you are paying, I would think they would be cooked more correctly than the way we received ours. Other than that, the rest of the food and the overall experience was good. We will go back, but only when we can get the more affordable prices during OC Restaurant Week.
