Great food and exceptional service.
ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN ORANGE COUNTY. GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE.
Most excellent food and service (as always)! You cannot go wrong with Ruth Chris.
Our best overall meal that we have had a Ruth Chris Irvine. Our Waiter was very goo. My Wife has always had good entrees, though some of my past entrees were disappointing. My Wife's Salmon was excellent, which was recommended by our Waiter. My Filet and Lobster were also excellent as was our Guest's Ribeye. We could even taste the Lobster and Macaroni in the Mac and Cheese this time. And, the Banana Cream pie was one of the best desserts I can remember having.
I truly enjoyed my meal but wanted a glass of Zinfandel and you don't sell any Zinfandel by the glass.
Never fails to please. Great steaks!
But I do wish their dessert menu was more creative.
Food and table service were, as expected, quite good.
However, while waiting at the bar for our table, I observed one of the waiters placing his fingers directly into the highball glasses containing the drink condiments and then placing these items directly into his mouth.
He did this in 3 of the half dozen or so glasses filled with the various condiments. I brought this to the attention of one of the bartenders who supposedly told one of the restaurant managers.
By the time we were seated, neither the glasses nor condiments had been replaced. ...this was a bit off-putting made even worse by the fact the this particular waiter delivered the meals to our table.
Best filet! perfectly cooked!
We usually come for an early dinner at 5 pm or 6 pm, but came at a much later evening time, around 8:30 pm, and it was a very different vibe. It was much louder, busier, and a bit crazy. Our order was wrong and our server was always late checking in on drinks. Normally we have great service, so maybe the later hour just yield more tired workers. They were very apologetic, but it just wasn’t our usual good service there. I think we will stick to our earlier time slot moving forward.
I have been to Ruth’s Chris three times. The first time the steak was good. The second time the chicken was excellent. This last time the steak and lobster were phenomenal.
Great as usual. Been to this location many times. Some may say it's too expensive, but remember that old quote "High prices are soon forgotten, but poor quality is remembered forever".
We had theater tickets on Saturday and dinner at Ruth's Chris. Amazing heirloom tomatoes and burrata salad. Prime steaks cooked to perfection...always get a Ribeye...medium rare +. The only downside is parking...this center has the worst parking ever. Highly recommend valet. Happy eating...
Another excellent meal. As usual, everyone and everything was outstanding. My friends and I dine here three to four times a year. Never disappointed.
Love it and can't wait to go back and try something different!
Eh! Just okay
The noise level was too high. I do not recommend the restaurant if you want to talk to the people you are there with. The food and service were excellent so it is too bad about the noise level.
Food and service were outstanding. Our server was Ashley and she did a wonderful job. Checked on us often, and was very helpful with suggestions for our meal. It was my wife's birthday and she said she couldn't remember a better birthday night out!
Fantastic food and service. Definitely coming back.
Great dinner and service!
Service was uncharacteristically terrible. Slow, inattentive, and distracted. Bad experience.
The most amazing dinner we every had!
Great traditional steak house
My 40th birthday
Great food and great service!! Will definitely be coming back.
New Year’s Eve amazing service great food
We hadn't been to Ruth Chris for many years. well, it's better than ever. Great Front Door Greeting, Great Service .. We had Fillet Mignon with Brussels sprouts and Potato Gratin, and Chocolate Duo for dessert. The kitchen didn't miss a beat. Great Flavors all around. also had Martini's and Beer. All wonderful. all Fresh. Absolutely no complaints. To top it off, the valet had our car waiting when we walked outside. I've no idea how they did this, but what a great sense of detail.
My husband ordered the cowboy ribeye steak was well cooked and tender but lacked flavor. It was very bland.
Excellent dining experience! Great management and wait service.
Pricey but great food and being able to get a last minute reservation was awesome
Excellent service, will most definitely be come back soon.
The Irvine location lives up to the recent Trip Advisor #1 ranking as the best large national restaurant. I have been to many of the Ruth’s and this is one of the best!
It has been recently remodeled and it looks and feels great! James is a great server, along with the great other staff from when you arrive to when you leave. I know that Anaheim does a ton more business, but that is because all the convention attendees go there. This is a much better experience.
Do yourself a favor and come here for the great atmosphere and steaks.
It was a wonderful experience, our servers really worked to make it a memorable night for my family. The food was definitely top notch and worth every penny
After Christmas dinner with family in town
We went to RC's for Thanksgiving and had a great experience so decided to go back for Christmas.. OUTSTANDING SERVICE from Shane who made our dining experience extra special. Food was fabulous and his service made our evening extra special.
Even with a reservation we still waited 15 minutes to be seated by a less than friendly hostess team. Server was good but soft spoken which made it difficult to hear in a full and loud restaurant. Food arrived efficiently and was its usual good quality except for the banana cream pie which wasn’t quite set and was a little runny.
Everything was great except having to wait past our reservation time to get in. We arrived at 5:15 pm for a 5:30 pm reservation. We did not get seated until 5:40-5:45 pm. The hostess told us they were waiting for the people at our table to be done. Seems like it would have been better to sit us at another table than waiting. What happens if the people at the table we sat at didn’t leave until 6 or 6:15 pm
Everything that we ordered was excellent, which is rare when ordering a multi-course meal with salads, entrees, three sides and dessert, but there were no exceptions. Highlights included the T-Bone steak, creamed spinace and lobster mac and cheese. The setting is nice: upscale but not stuffy, not crowded and not noisy. Service is good even on a holiday as we dined there on Christmas day, though we never felt rushed. The restaurant is expensive; however, for most diners it was likely worth it for a special occasion. It surprised us that even for a restaurant of this caliber and on a special holiday, a number of patrons were poorly dressed: tennis shoes, jeans, windbreakers, etc. Not that a coat and tie are expected for men, but business casual should not be a stretch. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan to return again for a special occasion.
Christmas day dinner
We had the surf and turf for Christmas dinner. The meal was perfect from start to finish! Bread pudding was amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.
