The food and service was good. Recommend reservation on holiday weekends.
The food is always great. The chilly sea bass was especially good; big chunk of white meat that was great.
The steak was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. It's pricy, but it's good.
Service was ok. Food was ok. Not the best experience I’ve had but not the greatest.
My husband and I went on a long over due date night. First drink was no alcohol, our lobster bisque tasted tasteless, we sent it back, we got a Wedge, but for some reason there was a bunch of spring Lettuce with it, then our shrimp and grits, very little sauce, tasteless, disappointed....then our coffee had a lot of grounds in it. Our bill was $185.00, no offer of discount.... for a restaurant, that is supposed to be fine dining, this dining experience fell short.
The downside was waiting over 20 minutes past the reservation time. We also did not get one of the sides we ordered. Other than that, service was very good.
The food was, as always, excellent. It was a little irritating to arrive about 10 minutes early for our reservation and be asked to sit "...until it is closer to your reservation time." Regardless, we were seated pretty much on time and had a very nice dinner.
Average service, average food, (what is the gimmick with the boiling hot plates?), crummy valet service but astronomical prices. In the immortal words of Bruce Lee “don’t waste yourself!” Or your money!
Meat not cooked as requested, too raw in center. Flavor off on wine and lobster bisque, both a bit sour. Asparagus was cold and a bit dry. Very expensive for quality received. Much rather go to other local steakhouses for quality of food.
Love Ruth’s Chris. The service is consistently top notch and the food is always the best.
The Sea Bass was cold and tasted like catfish.
The creamed Potatoes and spinach were cold.
The steaks were good the pork chop was delicious.
If I was with a group of out of town guests I would have sent the sea bass back ( worthless)
This was our first time since the move to the new location. I have to say we preferred the old one. My wife and I go for a more intimate setting and the new layout really lacks that intimacy. Noise carries very well and the tables are arranged very closely in a handful of large rooms. We sat close to the kitchen to get away and it helped some. Unfortunately the bathrooms were right there as well. We missed the booths from the old place. The service was excellent as usual. My steak was a little underdone for my taste and we recieved a free replacement side since it got a little cold while they fixed the issue. We didn't ask for it but they brought it just the same. The only food complaint was with the creamed spinach. It was a little less creamy and seemed a little like someone opened a can of spinach and dusted it with parmesan. It wasn't bad but just not as good as I remembered. The rest of the food was fantastic.
Wonderful service and delicious food.
First off, I’m not after a free meal, gift card, etc. because I won’t be returning. With that being said, I made a reservation for me and my wife on our 32nd wedding anniversary, on a recommendation from a family member who visited the Tampa Fl. location, for 6:30 pm. We arrived in town a little early and called to see if we might come on an hour early, and was assured it was no problem. We arrived, was seated, then waited 20 min before our waiter showed up. We were offered a free appetizer and desert which was much appreciated, however by the time our main course arrived we had been there over an hour. My wife’s filet was quite tough, and her drink never re-filled. My meal was fine, and after the plates were removed, we waited another 15-20 min on our deserts to come out. All in all, we were in the restaurant a little over 2 hours, and got much better treatment from our waiter’s assistant than anyone. I’m normally not one to complain, or even take the time to write a review, but for the amount of money I spent there, I would have been better served at a burger joint, as we watched other party’s that arrived later than us being served long ahead of us, not to mention our anniversary was never mentioned. Very displeased. Jon B Cordell
The waitress was friendly and on-task. The stuffed chicken breast was a little too seasoned for my personal taste but everything else was perfect.
Service and food were very good. It's a great location, very nice facility. Waiters were very good
Excellent as usual
It was fabulous!! The food was exquisite. The service was wonderful and the ambience was very classy but not pretentious. Really enjoyed this dining experience. We had our son with us who was home from college for the long weekend. This was his sentiments as well!! We will be back!
Fantastic food!!!! Great service and nice restaurant!
I must honestly admit Ruth Chris never ceases to amaze me, from the customer service to the entrees. I will forever be a loyal customer.
The Brussel sprouts were burned. This steak was unlike all other Ruth's Chris streaks I have ordered.
The steak was pretty bad.
I have had much better at other Ruth's Chris restaurants around the country.
The staff was courteous and outgoing with the level of service they provided. We were seated at a table with a breathtaking view of the mountain in full spring bloom. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious and the caeser salad takes your taste buds to heaven. The main course with the generously size filet was a feast to remember. It was a great Mother’s Day experience and to top it off the manager presented us with a gift card for our next dining adventure at Ruth’s Chris.
Ruth Chris' in Huntsville lived up to its commendable reputation on Mother's day. We enjoyed elegant atmosphere, quiet enough to converse but vibrant. Great service from bar through entrees. Thoroughly enjoyed the early dinner.
Everything was very good. My only demerit is for slow food delivery; 45 minutes from seated to salad and 30 min from salad to entree. I don’t think it was the server as the food was hot. Slow kitchen , 3 hours at table, and this was only with 2/3 tables seated. I always enjoy the RC but slow kitchen has happened to me before.
We continue to dine a handful of times a year at this location because of the wonderful service, excellent food, and drinks. Shaun was a excellent server (we have had him a couple times over the years). He continues to give us reasons to come back and recommend to other friends.
Took my 17 year old daughter for birthday dinner. We were rushed and ordered from the prix fixe menu, which includes salad, entree, side and dessert. We both had Caesar salad which was wonderful. My kiddo chose bbq shrimp and grits as her entree with garlic mashed potato as her side. Hers was fantastic! I chose 11oz filet and loaded baked potato. My filet was cooked to perfection but really had no flavor. It was very bland. Our dessert was blueberry cheesecake and it was very good. Will return but likely won’t order steak.
This was our 4th trip, one at the old location and the last 3 at this location. Since I am handicapped, we find vaker parking very useful and appreciate Kevin’s kindness. The Caesar salad was the best I have ever eaten. The scallops in Jumbalaya rissoto was superbas they melted in your mouth. They were cooked to perfection . If shellfish is overcooked, it becomes tough but NOT at Ruth Criss.we know as we grew up in the Boston and Rhode Island areas.
Great steak and great service!
Excellent food, with a great staff from the hostesses to the wait staff to the manager. I have eaten at Ruth's Chris here in Huntsville numerous times with most being for my wedding anniversary and I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience there.
Excellent service, which is to be expected from a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Look forward to traveling to a location when I know there is a RC Steakhouse close.
Great food. Server strong, bus service weak. Tables very close together inside.
Sorry to write but my steak was pretty tough. Couldn’t chew it enough to swallow. However, everything else was very nice.
Fabulously fantastic, as always. Pricey, but well worth the money for a nice way to treat yourself!
We throughly enjoyed spending our 33rd anniversary at Ruth Chris. The food was amazing as always. Our server was wonderful. And everyone from the valet guys to the servers who delivered different courses of our meal were very polite and friendly. We will be back.
Great food, great service.
Excellent food and service. Server gave valet ticket to valet staff so the vehicle was waiting as we left the restaurant.
