The way they cook their steaks is probably the best ever!
date night after a long week at work for my husband.
Our servers, Sam and Keith, were fabulous. Friendly, professional, observant of our needs and just wonderful to be around.
Hot spot! Excellent service, wonderful menu items with a great wine selection.
Excellent food and service. Entire staff was friendly and courteous
You would think there wouldn’t be a lot of differences in service by location but this one in Huntsville is pretty incredible. The server and the server assistant worked really well together and the team effort was outstanding.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will absolutely be back.
Service was great! My filet was over cooked and a little chewy. Not what I was expecting.
The strip wasn’t great. Probably should have ordered the filet. Strip had lots of gristle. I didn’t realize iced tea didn’t have free refills either. Thought it was a little much to be charged $4.50 per glass of iced tea and no free refill.
First class restaurant with impeccable service and outstanding food.
We were here to celebrate our 40th , been before. The food, the service was great. We were told we would be treated with s little something for celebrating our anniversary there, they never brought anything. Other than that is was a great experience.
Wonderful, attentive, personable wait staff; the kitchen was just slow. Disappointed with seating. They disregarded my request for an intimate table. This request was because of my guest’s hearing difficulties. Instead we were seated right by the kitchen door with tons of noise and activity. This made it difficult to talk. Food was good, we just felt we didn’t order well.
Service was exceptional!
Seared Ahi Tuna was very good.
Steaks were very good and cooked to perfection.
Sweet potato casserole was very good although more like a desert; lots of butter and brown sugar.
Brussels sprouts were underwhelming. While large and lightly seasoned, they were undercooked and very difficult to chew. I have found brussels sprouts at many chain restaurants to be much better.
Prices were on the very high side but that was expected.
I ordered the stuffed chicken from the “pri fixe” menu. AHHHHMAZING! The quality of the food and service is well worth the money. $49.95 gets you salad, the most amazing stuffed chicken you’ve ever had, a side, and dessert. The ambience was nice. The restaurant was quiet, but also welcoming. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about not only the menu, but the history of the restaurant. If you’ve never been, I suggest you give it a try.
Food was average, service was average - not what you would expect from a high class restaurant.
I took my husband and two children to Ruth's Chris Steak house to celebrate my birthday. I checked out the restaurant's website, looked at the menu and found out that they have complementary valet parking. Great, very useful when I have a 15 month old. When we got to the restaurant there was a line of two or three cars, but no parking attendant in sight. We waited about 5 minutes and didn't see anyone. As we were close to our reservation time we decided to go ahead and park ourselves. Next, we entered the restaurant and waited for about 10 minutes to be greeted as there was no one at the hostess station. Finally, a person came, asked if we had a reservation, told us that we were checked in and someone would be by to take us to the table. At this time I noticed that the restaurant was not very busy (Sunday evening). Again we waited for someone to come and show us to the table, about 10 minutes or so. Finally, a hostess showed up and took us to the table. Not a great start for a pricey place, if you ask me.
Dinner was rather bland, food was not seasoned well, service was quite poor. We were at the restaurant for two hours. My water glass didn't get refilled once. I spent most of the dinner with an empty glass on the table. Same for my kids. In the end I was really disappointed. I have had better food and service in less expensive places. I will not go back and I would not recommend this place. Over-priced and under-serviced.
Ruth's Chris Steak House is always a delicious experience. And this dining out in the Huntsville, AL location was just as delicious and enjoyable as in times past! We had everything from appetizers to entrees to drinks, and it was all very good. The service was prompt and friendly, and again, the food, just really tasty! My only negative is that it is very costly, so we usually reserve dining at Ruth's Chris to special occasions. We will be back!
Pricey but exceptional in every way. We really liked the packaged 3-course meal offering.
My husband and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! Our waiter, Burt I believe, was wonderful and the food was great!
The food was fantastic but the service was horribly slow. After bring seated, we waited 20 minutes before our server came to the table. He was very pleasant. Then it took 25 minutes for the salad to come out. Our steaks came out shortly after the salad, and were fabulous. After we finished eating, we waited 30 minutes before seeing our server again and getting our check. The sad part is that the dining room was not even half full.
The food and service was good. Recommend reservation on holiday weekends.
The seasoning on the steak made it taste like sour meat, the cut was great but the chef ruined it with whatever he/she put on it...
The food is always great. The chilly sea bass was especially good; big chunk of white meat that was great.
The steak was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. It's pricy, but it's good.
Service was ok. Food was ok. Not the best experience I’ve had but not the greatest.
My husband and I went on a long over due date night. First drink was no alcohol, our lobster bisque tasted tasteless, we sent it back, we got a Wedge, but for some reason there was a bunch of spring Lettuce with it, then our shrimp and grits, very little sauce, tasteless, disappointed....then our coffee had a lot of grounds in it. Our bill was $185.00, no offer of discount.... for a restaurant, that is supposed to be fine dining, this dining experience fell short.
The downside was waiting over 20 minutes past the reservation time. We also did not get one of the sides we ordered. Other than that, service was very good.
The food was, as always, excellent. It was a little irritating to arrive about 10 minutes early for our reservation and be asked to sit "...until it is closer to your reservation time." Regardless, we were seated pretty much on time and had a very nice dinner.
Average service, average food, (what is the gimmick with the boiling hot plates?), crummy valet service but astronomical prices. In the immortal words of Bruce Lee “don’t waste yourself!” Or your money!
Meat not cooked as requested, too raw in center. Flavor off on wine and lobster bisque, both a bit sour. Asparagus was cold and a bit dry. Very expensive for quality received. Much rather go to other local steakhouses for quality of food.
Love Ruth’s Chris. The service is consistently top notch and the food is always the best.
The Sea Bass was cold and tasted like catfish.
The creamed Potatoes and spinach were cold.
The steaks were good the pork chop was delicious.
If I was with a group of out of town guests I would have sent the sea bass back ( worthless)
This was our first time since the move to the new location. I have to say we preferred the old one. My wife and I go for a more intimate setting and the new layout really lacks that intimacy. Noise carries very well and the tables are arranged very closely in a handful of large rooms. We sat close to the kitchen to get away and it helped some. Unfortunately the bathrooms were right there as well. We missed the booths from the old place. The service was excellent as usual. My steak was a little underdone for my taste and we recieved a free replacement side since it got a little cold while they fixed the issue. We didn't ask for it but they brought it just the same. The only food complaint was with the creamed spinach. It was a little less creamy and seemed a little like someone opened a can of spinach and dusted it with parmesan. It wasn't bad but just not as good as I remembered. The rest of the food was fantastic.
Wonderful service and delicious food.
First off, I’m not after a free meal, gift card, etc. because I won’t be returning. With that being said, I made a reservation for me and my wife on our 32nd wedding anniversary, on a recommendation from a family member who visited the Tampa Fl. location, for 6:30 pm. We arrived in town a little early and called to see if we might come on an hour early, and was assured it was no problem. We arrived, was seated, then waited 20 min before our waiter showed up. We were offered a free appetizer and desert which was much appreciated, however by the time our main course arrived we had been there over an hour. My wife’s filet was quite tough, and her drink never re-filled. My meal was fine, and after the plates were removed, we waited another 15-20 min on our deserts to come out. All in all, we were in the restaurant a little over 2 hours, and got much better treatment from our waiter’s assistant than anyone. I’m normally not one to complain, or even take the time to write a review, but for the amount of money I spent there, I would have been better served at a burger joint, as we watched other party’s that arrived later than us being served long ahead of us, not to mention our anniversary was never mentioned. Very displeased. Jon B Cordell
The waitress was friendly and on-task. The stuffed chicken breast was a little too seasoned for my personal taste but everything else was perfect.
Service and food were very good. It's a great location, very nice facility. Waiters were very good
