Ruth's Chris Steak House - Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel Ratings and Reviews
This is the third time we have tried Ruth Chris Steak house and now we have been disappointed 3 times. My husbands steak was good but my tenderloin was not (my dogs loved it). The calamari was fabulous. The service was great. A steak house of this kind should have quality steaks. We will not try again.......
My $47 steak had a big gristle running through the middle of it. Difficult to chew.
Person who delivered the salads just reach across my wife to serve me my salad. We were sitting at a table. The experience was not worth $225. I don’t mind spending money on anything if I have a good experience. This was my first experience at a Ruth Steak House and my last.
Birthday dinner for my mom, her first trip there, and the service was great. The shrimp cocktail was amazing, biggest shrimp ever! Then the steak came out and was to die for. Always so tender and juicy. Will be back next week for Valentine's Day with my wife!
We have dined here before and have never been disappointed. Our waitress, Chelsea, was outstanding. Great sense of humor with a caring attitude about our comfort and food.
At the bar Onyx and Jon were a dynamic duo for pre-dinner cocktails although I thought the $18 for a Manhattan was overpriced considering we are in Cherokee, NC.
My ribeye and my wife's filet were cooked perfectly as described, medium. Our friend's filet however was undercooked for a medium and had to be returned. Chelsea handled it with grace and a manager actually brought out the hot, hot plate.
Chelsea nixed the rumor about Ruth's Chris using sous vide cooking method. Steaks are cooked in 1800 degree oven. That is hot! I'll be back next time I'm at Harrah's Cherokee.
Expected blaack napkin for dark clothes. Expected empty plates picked up sooner. Expected server to verify with us steak was acceptable cook level and later check back to see if everything was ok. Surprised not offered coffee or digestif. We did have dessert to go. Got probably best booth across from fire place in regards to coziness comfort and noise level otherwise the restaurant would have seemed overrated and overpriced.
Very good food, also good service, food was on time. Good selections in a variety of food. I will return again the next time staying in Cherokee. The lighting was very dim, I used my phone light to read the menu! My wife said because I am old! The fillet mignon was very delicious and tender. I left feeling happy with my overall experience ! Not to mention full. Thanks, Thomas E.
