This was our first time to the one in Greenville. The experience was amazing. My husband and I usually get the crab stack and the stuffed chicken. We had ordered the 3 course meal and one of the dishes we got the spring vegetable soup and it was Good. We will return.
I noted that it was our Anniversary on the reservation and we were greeted with some tasteful table decorations along with 2 glasses of bubbly to toast with as well as a bonus appetizer of AMAZING BBQ'd shrimp!!! The service was AMAZING and the food was, as always, beyond perfect!

We enjoyed meeting new manager Andrew and servers Brian and Josh. They were fantastic and made celebrating our anniversary special, as well as enjoyable! Our server# 308 Josh W treated my mom & I poorly on Mother’s Day . He didn’t explain the menu to us but right behind us when another family came explained everything beautifully to them we felt like second class citizens. But the food was amazing just very disappointed that we got treated poorly by our server. Everyone else was nice . Not sure if I will ever eat at Ruth Chris again 🙁
It was OK, but when you’re paying that much you expect to be overwhelmed with taste, ambiance and service. Nothing was bad, but really expected more than average.
Service was very good. Unfortunately, the food was terrible! I'd rate a C- Especially if you consider the price.
The steak was about what I would have been served at an Applebees. I can't imagine ever going back.
Food was delicious! Dessert was Incredible! The lighting was way to bright for a high end restaurant which is for celebrating special occasions lighting should be dimmer. Overall great 1st experience
It took forever for our food to come and it wasn’t even busy at the time. They over cooked one of my sides. The meal is usually a lot better than it was yesterday.
Location was good steak was cooked as requested, the sea bass was not as tender as it should have been and the flavor was bland. The cheese cake was very dry and appeared to have been frozen or stored in refrigeration for too long. Over all the restaurant was very nice and the staff was very friendly.
The service was unprofessional. She was a nice young lady but not attentive. I ordered a glass of wine which they no longer carried and she made a big deal out of it, instead of listening to my alternate choice. She forgot what we ordered and had the other bar tender ask us again, after our salads should already have been out. She was kid and trying to be cute with other customers instead of listening and being attentive. I guess what’ve I’m trying to say is, she uses the bar as her platform to be cute, flirt, talk to her fellow bartender, but not to do her job attentively. I would rather not be paying attention to her antics, and her loud conversations with fellow guests, but with my date. Way too much money for the service we received.
Perfect evening to enjoy a fine dinner and talk with our friends.

The servings are small and the food while OK is not worth the price. We had to ask someone to send out our waiter every time we needed service. It was an OK experience but not worth the money.

This is our third Ruth and Chris visit in the past few months. Our love for this restaurant started here a few years ago and will never stray again. The chef here can prepare the best Filet the lobster and shrimp was amazing as well. Our server Brian who we have had before was so knowledgeable and laidback and was the perfect compliment to our courses meal. He even help me light candles for his dessert for his birthday and grabbed some pictures too. I wish we could get this level and quality of food and service everywhere trust me this establishment is by far your best choice for quality and a nice dinner date night. We loved the new choices on the courses meal.
Chandler was Awesome!! Took my friend there for his B Day- first time for him. I frequent RC with my company and my wife and I enjoy it as well. Keep up the great standard!
Our server, Bryan was exceptional. He made us feel special and was very attentive to all of our requests and needs. I especially loved the crab cakes. My filet was overcooked and the manager brought out an entirely new dish for me! My two friends were also very pleased. We will be back again and again!

My son thought it was the best steak he's ever had. I agree.
It took 2 1/2 hours to finish the meal. It took 45 minutes before we got any food at all.
We were not provided an itemized receipt.

Our experience here was beyond what I had ever expected. Brian was our server and he doted on us. I have never been to a restaurant where they actually show you the bottle of wine before opening it, pouring it for you
I just thought that was like a "Hollywood thing" but guess what? They do it. Oh yeah, and they come by and refill your wine glass when it gets low.
They didnt have flavored water for my son, but they cut up an orange for him to put in his water.
Brian explained everything to us, because it was our first visit and we had our parents with us. When our foodbarrived, it was awe inspiring. My husband and I got the porterhouse for two and my gawd it was....you know how a fresh out of the fryer krispy kreme donut will just melt in your mouth? Yeah, thats what this steak did. No lie.
It was served to us, literally, by Brian. This ginormous 40 oz steak was cut into chunks and served to us on piping hot plates so the steak sizzled right in front of us. It did NOT need any salt nor pepper. It literally was the perfect steak.
My son said the shrimp was the best he has ever had and my in laws had the roasted chicken, which they said was juicy and tender throughout.
We will be coming back..
For the second time at this restaurant my steak was black on the exterior. I specifically ordered medium, 155 degree internal temperature, and that I did not want any black or carbon on the steak.
I addition, the sautéed onions that can with the lionesse potatoes were also burnt. I am after quality, not speed and quantity. Best I try another steakhouse.
This was our first time here and it was worth every penny! The waiter was very down to earth and very pleasant! The food was delicious! It was the perfect spot for our Valentines Day getaway!!! We will be back!
I treated my parents here. This was their first time going and they absolutely loved it!!
Only issue was when we sat down, the waiter came took our order and didn’t come back till we flagged him down. He didn’t bring our drinks or bread until we asked for it. Either he forgot about us( he was also serving the table right behind us) or...... I really don’t know. But after I talked to him there were no other issues.
We arrived at 8:45 pm for our 9:00 reservation on Valentines Day. We didn’t get seated until 9:50. After receiving our water our waitress informed us that they were sorry for any inconvenience but it would at least be another hour and half before we saw any food. This was our first time here and we probably won’t be returning.
Will never go back. Was not impressed. Made a reservation for 8:30, seated at 9:00, received food at 10:40
Had a 7:30 reservation food got your table at 10 the plates were over a hundred degrees and the food was cold each entree was a steak 16 oz and two lobster tails $67 plates all four plates the food was cold so I did not enjoy my experience with Ruth Chris on Valentine's Day with my fiance and I will not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends!
7pm reservation was seated at 8pm. Entree did not arrive until 9:40(ordered at 8:20) . Ask for manger and got an assistant manager who had no solutions only that the executive chef was swamped. Now if you have a reservation system, and it is valentine day, I would think you would be expected to be busy. Steak was tough ,not up to Ruth Chris standards. I have eaten at many Ruth Chris restaurants over the years, including this one, and never been disappointed. This was terrible and not up to Ruth Chris’s standards. Will not return to this restaurant, and suggest if you want a Ruth Chris go downtown.
Valentines is not the time to go. Over crowded, tried to fit it too many small table. Drinks were slow, meat was good, sides were returned too cold. Usually have good experience this was very unfortunate.
Very expensive, but worth it once or twice a year.
