Ruth's Chris Steak House - Greensboro Ratings and Reviews
Really solid as usual. Perfectly cooked meat and sides were awesome. I think the interior needs a minor facelift. Wine pours are pretty unfortunate. Should either use smaller glasses or give more generous pours. Felt like a tasting pour. I think everything is about 10% too expensive (even knowing going in it will be pricey). Nonetheless, likely to return.
The atmosphere was very nice for a Holiday Dinner and conversation. The ribeye steak was amazing.the best I ever had. My husband also loved his filet and lobster tails. Our waiter was very nice and went over the menu with us and asked if we had any questions. We will definitely be back.
We had soup/salad, two petite filets, a side each and two glasses of wine each....over $250!!
Food was divine. My boyfriend said lobster bisque was delicious. Caesar salad was ok.
Filets were cooked perfect as you would expect.
I gave the ambiance a low score because quite a few people were dressed poorly and it was Christmas Day which was disappointing.
Server was on point even being so busy.
Overall a 4/5
We have enjoyed the Ruth's Chris experience in Greensboro many times, but tonight's meal was near perfection! The porterhouse was absolutely delectable, the cremeni mushrooms, brussels with bacon, and the asparagus were prepared perfectly and paired beautifully with the steak. Ruth's Chris has the best bacon, by the way!
The service was impeccable and our salads and drinks were spot on, as well. Our experience lacked nothing. Thank you for a great evening!
I would have to say that this particular Ruth’s Chris steakhouse has deteriorated over its short time here in Greensboro. We have dined here a few times over the years and this last visit was probably our last ever. While the food was good the service from the time we arrived until we departed was mediocre at best. Not our server specifically but the hostess was dishonest with us about table availability, lack of decanting of red wines (unless you specifically ask to have it done), and a broken plate that when the steak was returned it was the same piece of meat that was sent back as a result of the plate breaking. I even followed up with an email to the general manager but to date, I have yet to receive a response. I’d say if you’re looking to have a nice evening out and are willing to invest - I would try perhaps B Christopers or one of the other steakhouses in Greensboro as this one has really fallen off the mark.
Have eaten here several times before. Steaks were "okay". Best part of the meal was the lobster bisque. Had the filet and lobster tail. Filet was nothing special and the lobster tail was over-cooked and tough. Got a dinner special which included a dessert. Took the dessert togo but ate one bite when I got home and threw it away. Was some sort of dry apple turnover with about one slice of apple and all dough. Not impressed. Dinner for two with tip was $240. Pricey for steaks that tasted just as good as the ones from longhorn. Nice for a special occasion, but won't return anytime soon....
