Ruth's Chris Steak House is located at Amway Grand Plaza, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Grand Rapids.

We serve only the finest USDA Prime beef available. Our steaks are hand-selected from the top 2% of the country’s beef, broiled to perfection and served the Ruth’s Chris signature way: sizzling on a 500 degree plate so that every last bite stays hot and delicious.

The restaurant and hotel is connected via skywalk to the JW Marriott, Courtyard Marriott, DeVos Place, DeVos Performance Hall and Van Andel Arena.

I am a fan of the chain but this night was very poor. Ordered my steak medium rare and when it showed up at the table, it was far from it and was actually closer to being alive. Against my better judgment I allowed the steak to go back to the kitchen. Upon it's I was expecting it to be done correctly and it still was just barely rare throughout. Not being a fool, it did not go back to the kitchen again and I cut the cooked parts out and went on. My wife's filet who was expecting medium rage got hers closer to well done. The wait staff was not on the game either as many request had to be made for items to show up at the table. At the end of the day when the bill comes close to 200 dollars for 2 people , I do not think it is asking too much for them to be on their game. Very disappointing and probably will not be back as a 200 dollar value for dinner can definitely be had elsewhere in Grand Rapids and get equal or more than you pay for.

Wife's bone-in filet was excellent. My bone-in strip was where near what a prime/aged steak shouuld be :(.

The servers were all top notch which made for a very pleasant dining experience. We were not rushed at all. I appreciated the vegetarian option.

The food was outstanding, as was the service. For the reputation and cost of Ruth’s Chris, we would have enjoyed a quieter ambiance. The restaurant was very noisy and caused us to hurry through our meal to escape it.

The Manager we had spoken with was wonderful, very understanding and very personable, the small situation we had she made it right which it did make us feel like they did care on how we felt. I can't say enough about the great dinning.

The food was great! We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We reserved 8 weeks in advance but.. still got 3 families with babies sat all around us. We requested a quiet spot.

Our server, Josh, did an outstanding job serving our table. He was aware of the fact that I had requested another particular server and that we were celebrating a birthday. Very attentive. The sommelier did a nice job helping me choose a nice bottle of Cabernet for the meal.

Outstanding all around. The only “complaints” I had was that the server waited a little too long to take our order initially and the prices are very high, but worth it for the most part.
