Ben S. Is the only server we ask for when coming to Ruth’s he is a MUST see! We dine here for a special occasion each year and he is the one that keeps us coming back. Prices have jumped like most things, noise level as well, now requiring deposits to make a reso but all of that is worth it when you get Ben S! First class service, above and beyond, excellent in all areas. On a side note: when contacting the restaurant to confirm our reservation, we called a few times only to be contacted with a voice recording during open hours, so we sent a message through OpenTable and was responded to quickly. The MOD was Jill, she table touched all the tables around us but ours, so at the end of the meal we made sure to stop and chat with her. It’s slightly frustrating when you have to seek the manager out instead of the table side greet we have come to expect year after year with a greet by name. But good service is hard to find that why we ONLY request Ben S.

We had never been before so we were really looking forward to dining here. We had reservations, we were seating immediately. The staff, our waitress were all wonderful and attentive. One thing to point out is the meals and their plates were hot. The server had to use a cloth napkin to set them on the table. But our sides were lukewarm. We ordered 5 sides for us to all share. Whatever they do with the main dishes to keep them hot, they should also do for the sides. I know the food item may make a difference. We had the green beans w/garlic, mash potatoes w/garlic, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and the sweet potatoes. All were wonderful expect for that. We will be back. Maybe less sides will help with them coming to us hot.

My wife and I walked away very happy. I asked about a specific drink and although it wasn’t a regular drink our server recommended something for my wife and she loved it. Very pleased with our experience and we plan to visit again soon.

We’ve been here several times and the quality of the food just seems to have gone down. Filet tasted like roast beef, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. Asparagus was great. Service was great and it’s a lovely spot, but we won’t be returning for dinner.

Our server Brian was wonderful! We were celebrating a College Graduation and they congratulated us non stop. They even treated us to a decorated plate with a couple desserts. Food was amazing! We enjoyed our evening.

We were thankful for a corner table since the restaurant was full of people and full of conversion. Our servers, Brian and Diane, were attentive without hovering. They treated our birthday guest with a special dessert. Memorable meal and fun celebration.

Love the food…but we had the worst and least romantic seating in the whole place. I made reservations at least a week in advance and people that were walk-ins got better seating than we did. We were sat in a corner where all the hot plates and food and all the staff narrowly passed over my husbands head. All the other tables were empty on that side of the wall so I wish we were sat in one of those. My husband and his chair stuck out right in a busy walking path. It was very distracting and not the expensive romantic dinner seating we hoped for.

The restaurant is beautiful and our waiter was amazing. We split the 11 oz filet, au gratin potatoes and crème brûlée. The food was heaven on Earth, I almost cried when I took a bite of the steak, and that is not an exaggeration. The sides are family style, and the crème brûlée was big enough for 2 people. When you make the reservation you do have to put a deposit down, they just hold it until you check in for your reservation. Overall I highly recommend going here, the food was delicious, the employees made us feel comfortable (we’re not used to going to fancy places), and it was 100% worth the money.

Service is fantastic the restaurant decor is modern steak house. I had a jumbo shrimp cocktail, a little overcooked and chewy. We had escargot, which was perfect, the best garlic delivery system ever with nice tender snails. My main course was the Sea Bass. Huge portion, 9 oz, cooked to perfection. Also had added lobster tail. My recommendation here is, no steak seasoning. I couldn't taste the sweetness of the lobster. I suggest allowing guests to add this level of seasoning themselves (try a drizzle of worchestershire in the butter for the same effect). Flourless chocolate cake and cheese cake were excellent. Loved the creamed spinach, brussels and au gratin potatoes too. Cocktails and wine choices are great. Go here!
