The server Brian was fantastic. I expect to pay a premium price for wine but $20 for a 9oz pour of Meiomi is absurd. I can buy the whole bottle for that. We ordered the steaks medium and my husbands was barely medium rare. We’re dieting so we just ate the perimeter and not the center. For the price point items should be perfect but our experiences here have been less than stellar. We will stay with another local steakhouse in downtown Fort Worth.
When I booked, I stated it was for a birthday. It was a nice surprise to see the birthday card and small decor. After dinner, I was treated to a birthday dessert and selfie!
Worst Service that I have ever experienced at a Ruth’s Chris. My steak was over done, dry, a d expensive.

The wife and I have been here many times and it’s just not what it used to be before COVID. This was our second visit since the re-opening and will be the last for a while.
Really miss the old menu and staff.

We have eaten at RC restaurants all over Texas, and this was by far the worst we’ve experienced. The bartender made terrible drinks (worst Old Fashioned and Rusty Nail that I’ve ever had). The food was subpar. The steaks were akin to any normal steak that you could get at any interstate chain restaurant, and the sides were pretty bland. However, our server was excellent. She was very courteous, friendly, and attentive. She’s the only reason that this location didn’t get a more negative review. We won’t be back. If you’re in Ft. Worth, save yourself the trouble and skip this one and look to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle or Capital Grille.

Very poor food. Surprised that it was so bad. Started out with appetizer dishes that were brought out to us were all dirty . The calamari was cold. The steaks had no flavor and tough. Returned 4 steaks . Never going to dine there again

What a disappointment!
We had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated, the restaurant appears old and tired and the ladies room was awful! Service was very slow.
The food was very average. We both ordered the surf and turf; neither component was special. The best part of the meal was the wedge salad with its generous blue cheese dressing.
The waiter overcharged our champagne order (corrected when my husband discovered it). We spent nearly three hours there due to the overall slow service. We will not return.

I’d always heard good things about the restaurant, so we decided to give it a try for Christmas, but I was seriously disappointed in the experience. The server was amazing, but the food was a major let-down. The crab cakes were bland, the lobster bisque had too much brandy flavor, the steaks were tasteless (and mine was severely over cooked, but the server took care of it) and the creamed spinach was barely room temp. Overall, it was a waste of time and money and not somewhere I would recommend to friends.
The food service was unusually slow. Our waiter told us that “the kitchen is backed up”. This is hard to understand with a reservations-only style of dining. The majority of the patrons were also experiencing missing menu items as tgey were served. Our food was not prepared in the typical Ruth’s Chris style and quality. The food was average at best. Not the restaurant’s best effort in my opinion. Certainly not for the prices charged. Disappointed from my last visit.
I know it was Christmas, and we had a 2-year old and baby with us, but they are usually well-behaved when eating out. Except when the meal takes 4 hours. Our reservation was at 4:00, we arrived on time, our booth was perfect for the little ones. But the food service was so slow. and we couldn't keep the 2-year old entertained. We heard a tray crash at about the time our food should have been ready (based on other tables nearby), but we didn't get our food until 6:00. Nobody explained the reason for the wait. Our "medium-rare" ribeyes were cooked "medium", so one of our party sent his back. We jokingly laughed that they scraped the steaks off the floor and reheated them. We also ate here for Christmas last year, and the meal was perfect. Different manager, waiters, kitchen staff? Who knows. When a meal can be that inconsistent, can I really recommend the restaurant to a friend?
Wonderful service with great food!
Food and service from our waiter was good. Hostess when checking in was very rude. We had to wait an hour even though we had a reservation to be seated. When making reservations you understand maybe a 10-15 minute wait but an hour wait was ridiculous especially on Christmas Eve. If you over booked then you should have let people know prior to arriving that there table was not ready and to come at a later time or cancel. For the manager to not come around and check on guests to me shows lack of customer service skills and poor service. There are several steak houses to choose from in downtown Fort Worth. I will choose one of those before ever coming back to Ruth Chris for a special occasion.
Service was terrible! We love the Ruth Chris experience usually and expected way better for a Christmas family dinner. Don’t think the Fort Worth location has their act together like other metroplex venues. Sad really!

Excellent food and superb service!! Ritchie went above and beyond to make our anniversary a special occasion. We would definitely reccommend the Seared Tuna to start and our steaks were perfect!
Ok. I’m a tough critic because I’m in the industry. Greeting as lack luster. I expect high service standards from RC. And my past experiences have been great. But I realize this is a tough time finding and keeping good help due to the pandemic. With 75% capacity, I would think more attentive service would be achievable. There was nothing bad, just slow. The food was outstanding. If I critiqued one item, the calamari was cold in spots. They should consider a hot plate for that item as well. Usually when I’ve ordered lobster, they will offer to remove the shell. My “scrap” plate w/ shell and app plate/flatware... was on the edge of the table (hint hint) and never cleared. Wine service was very slow. Some of that is not the servers fault, but she was absent and lacked communication. Steak- excellent. Augratin potatoes, to die for. Lastly, we had a $50 gift card that we were not able to deduct from our total tab. They said they had to leave 20% balance for a tip. Which created an extra step on tipping on two separate transactions. Excellent location.

Celebrated our son’s 17th birthday. Our server, Jenn was warm, attentive and helpful. We love this restaurant and the consistency of the great food! We always get steaks because they taste amazing. We had the bone in New York strip, filet and a couple of lobster tails. Great food, great atmosphere and a great time!
We go here every year on my son’s birthday and it is such a wonderful experience! The food and service is the best ever! I had the stuffed chicken and i am still thinking about it and want to return for another serving! ❤️ this place!
If I never hear "500 degree plate" 6 times in one meal again I'll consider myself lucky. By the way, in boredom over the claim we placed a piece of paper on a plate as soon as it was delivered. Paper burns at 451 degrees. It wasn't even scorched.
Food was okay, but the desserts (whether on the prix fix menu or not) were tiny - none of it is what we're used to from Ruth's Chris, yet we are grateful that they were open on Thanksgiving evening and we had a nice time.

We had to wait for ten minutes after our reservation time to get seated. Our waiter was great, but way overtasked. He had too many tables and we all ended up waiting. The bread, salad and drinks took forever. The main course arrived cold. Plate was cold, Turkey was cold, sides were Luke warm at best. This was suppose to be a recreation of our first date but was not a good venue. We are not sure to keep dining at Ruth’s Chris again.

Thanksgiving dinner
Service was great while we ate and food was good.
Two issues to note though are that we were told a second thanksgiving feast was packed to take home but when we got home, nothing was in our bag but the sides we ordered. The turkey we even had left over was thrown away because we were told there would be extras to take home.
Also, we had a reservation at 115 and didn’t get seated until close to 130. We had many parties who checked in after us get seated and had to wait over 20 minutes in the lobby because we got there 5 minutes early. Understanding seating logistics are tough, but if someone makes a reservation for a time they should be seated very close to that time.

Unfortunately our experience wasn’t what we are used to when we go to high end steak restaurants. Our food took exceptionally long to come out, my lobster bisque had a burned taste, the broccoli had no seasonings or spices added. When my fiancé and I went to the restroom-each of them were disgusting with paper towels everywhere, toilet paper on the floor, empty tissue boxes, etc.
I understand that this restaurant is in a hotel, but the standards of a high end place should still be intact. We won’t be going back.
