Steaks (we had 11oz. Filets) were very good! Sweet potato casserole was yummy. Service by Jake was fantastic! Rose petals on the table with card thanking us for joining Ruth's on our anniversary was a nice surprise too.
While the food and atmosphere was awesome our server was horrible. I was watching other servers interact with their tables and there was a night and day difference. Never even welcomed us nor bothered to tells us about any of the specials. Took several minutes to get our drinks and to have our order take . The table besides us had a different server and was seated several minutes after us and they had drinks and food before we did. Our service was what I would expect at a chili’s or cheddars type restaurant not Ruth Chris.
Everything was perfect except we froze the whole visit it was cold outside and inside the whole time, other than that it was great!
Excellent meal, presentation and service ("Rick"). We'll be back!
The poor ambiance of the basement-like hotel banquet room does not entice us to return. Some of the food such as the crab cake appetizer was very good while the drinks, salad and desserts were not special.
Nice place but very poor service. The first thing we were told by the waitress is that the kitchen is "running about 45 minutes." It's like we were in a casual dining restaurant. I told the waitress that we were just fine with that, but please keep our drinks coming.....but that didn't happen. We've been to the nicest restaurants in the US and we can truly say this was the poorest service we've ever received. This is the reason I really don't like chain high end restaurants. Very disappointing. I hope they can get this fixed because it really is a nice place.
The food at Ruth's was amazing. It was Valentine's day and they were fully booked, luckily I made a reservation. Having said that, they werent busy and it took our food an hour and a half to come out. The pre meal bread was not the normal bread, it was Hawaiian rolls for some reason. When the food finally came out it was very good. The server barely checked on us and talked way to quietly, we could not hear a word he said. Overall I'd reccomend it, the gripes were outrageous and I'll go back, not on Valentine's day though.
Very rude, ruined Valentine’s Day again. Hour wait for food, refused blacken the lobster tail which I have done for 15 years. We spent over 10,000 a year on Ruth’s Chris gift cards at my company and I have been a customer since 1999 and it’s amazing this is how I was treated. Not so much as a few dessert was offered.
Every thing was good from the food to the service
Took my future wife out for Valentines dinner and was extremely impressed! I’ve always enjoyed Ruth’s Chris and wanted it to be special. Had the Tomahawk for 2 with an amazing bottle of wine. It was absolutely perfect! Can’t wait to go back!
Server was very inattentive and forgetful. Food came out warm not hot. Took extremely long to get the food.
It was great, we love it there. The food is amazing and the service is excellent.
We had an excellent Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was great. The service was great. It was an all around terrific experience. Well done Ruth’s Chris.
Our service on Valentine day would have started out bring great until I had to wait outside 15 minutes before they opened:unlock doors at a 5star restaurant. The hostess did not offer us to come in to sit in their lobby. Our waiter (TY) was awesome! My husband was very please with his 16oz ribeye until he notice after we made home with his leftover steak was 2oz was nothing but fat.
Had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Food was good but no better than somewhere like a Saltgrass or Longhorn Steakhouse.
Always a great experience. Calm, inviting dining environment with outstanding food selections and even better service.
Wonderful service and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal
It was great my wife’s favorite steak house
It was my husband's birthday. They had a cheap little birthday card on the table. They didn't even offer him a free dessert. I was disappointed. The food was okay. Nothing special.
Watch out for the Lamb. They burned ours pretty bad and the light is so dim in the restaurant that you can not tell until it is in your mouth. The same was true of the filet. My wife and I dropped $250+ on this meal and received not so much as an apology for the poorly cooked meat. While I know Valet was third party I stood there as they were rude to people and then brought the cars of the “big tippers” first. We will not be back.
Overall very good experience. Very good steak, although not the best I have ever had. It was very busy in their defense. I would go back
My wife and I love it there. We've been several times and it is always outstanding. The food is second to none and the service is to notch.
We had a great evening celebrating our anniversary. The Ruth’s Chris team was spot on and delivered impeccable service and food. The table was set up with rose petals and it got better from there. Well done.
Seated 20 minutes after our reservation and that can be overlooked but to then have to wait another 20 minutes for our waiter, no joke, 20 minutes. He did cover our 1st round of drinks.
Great date night restaurant! A little quiet for our taste and the drink selection could have been a little better for this price point of food. Great overall and the steak was A+
It was very cold in the restaurant, and a huge vent was blowing directly on our table. The candle was flickering wildly. We asked to have it turned down several times, or be moved to a different table. Promises made, but never addressed. It was quite a while before the first host came to our table to offer water, and quite a while later before our actual waiter came to take drink orders. This was a Wednesday evening, so there were few tables to deal with. I had a bone in filet, which I ordered medium. It was undercooked and tough. The flavor was good, but the waiter never even asked us how our steaks were done. With the steak house competition in Fort Worth, Ruth’s Chris is not in the same tier quality wise, yet prices are similar. We went there because we had gift cards. Worth a second try, but in my mind not worth the evening out.
My wife and I ate there for our anniversary dinner.
Everything I expected it to be.
The scene and view were outstanding. We were VERY disappointed with the food. We went for our anniversary and my husband's lamb was over cooked, my lobster bisque tasted scorched, and as we waited 3 hours for our food they ran out of bread pudding. Other than that EPIC downtown view and our server Richard was PHENOMENAL!
Our evening started out bad but a special thanks to General Manager Alan Schulz Jr. We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my husband!
Food was excellent as always. The service was super slow. Took 26 minutes to get our drink order to the table. It seemed super busy.
Everything was wonderful. It was mine and my wife's 15th wedding anniversary so I went online and made reservations and made a special request for a nice dessert and when we got there our table had rose peddles and a happy anniversary card on it. We both had a 8oz filet that was cooked to perfection. They then brought out a slice of cheesecake and ice cream with out us even asking, because I requested it online. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience.
Overall great experience!!! The meat was excellent but the vegetables were overcooked (too soft and not crunchy) although, this might be a preference thing :)
Steakhouse was easily accessible with a courteous valet service. It did not take long for the hostess to seat us and the service we received from Blair was excellent! Only complaint was that when we were seated it took more than 10 minutes, maybe even longer, before we were able to put in a drink order, however I attest this to the large group(s) of cheerleaders that happened to be in that night for a cheer convention. Otherwise from the second we were approached by our server the service was amazing. Great steaks and the sides were good. Will definitely return in the future.
Our food was great as usual. The lobster bisque was a bit fishy.
Our server was a bit lax 8n her service..this us a first for me and my friend had never been to your restaurant before..
Lobster bisque was bland. Service was very slow and allowed plates/crumbs to set on the table. I gave our waiter Richie our valet ticket and asked him to have the valet pull our car around. He placed the ticket back with my credit card when he dropped the check. Seemed like a simple request. This location was just missing a lot of the little details that you see at area fine dining.
As always, the food is great and it's a great experience
We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday dinner
Thank you for making our 40th anniversary evening special and memorable. Sam was our amazing waiter; management (and many others) stopped by to congratulate us.
Our food, wine, and service were outstanding. We celebrated a birthday and received a complementary dessert.
We ordered steak the fillet was a little over cooked on the outside
