Rough night for Ruth's Chris. The first Scotch my guest ordered during cocktails was no longer available and the replacement came out as a half-pour (another half-pour was delivered later). The first 2 bottles of wine we selected were, despite being on the wine list, no longer in the cellar. Then the filet, which was ordered rare, was delivered medium rare and the NY strip, which was ordered medium rare, was delivered medium. Brandon, our server, was a bright spot and did his best to keep us happy. Not the usual Ruth's experience, but would go back.

Dinner for four on a Friday night. Service was professional and kind but inefficient. We constantly had to flag down our server to request additional wine glasses, a missing water glass, etc. She was perfectly nice and helpful, but having to look for her or share glasses or utensils in the meantime was a bit disappointing. The meat as always was fantastic. We had petite fillets and bone in fillets. The lobster mac & cheese was a little too al Dente for my preference, but great flavor. The brussels sprouts with bacon also had great flavor, but just a tiny bit undercooked. The sweet potato side dish was excellent as long as you realize when ordering that their type of preparation is quite sweet. Of course we will be back, but service was not on par with prior experiences. I guess everybody has an off night or maybe they were shorthanded.

First time going was not worth it at all had to wait for over 45+ mins for them to bring any of our food out and they literally took 30mins just to bring a cheesecake out and mind you that this place wasn’t even packed for them to take so long! Not worth it!

Had the best experience for Mother’s Day. Brunch. Loved they were open on Saturday so we could avoid the Sunday crowd. On the menu was a filet topped with rib and spicy Mayo. This was on of the best things I have eaten in a long time. If you see this on the menu, order it! My Dad and I both ordered it, and loved it. Crystal our server was AMAZING! She helped me get a different when I thought it didn’t taste correct. The Ruth Chris is my favorite. I live in the Bay Area, and have been to a few. Out of all my visits, the Fresno location has the best service and food.

My wife and I had a great experience in our 54th wedding anniversary. The service was outstanding, the food was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the presentation was excellent. We thought the price was a little high but that didn't make a difference for us. We will go again on the next special occasion.

We love wine dinners at Ruth’s. Unfortunately there were only 8 people at the dinner. It was short. Seemed like staff wanted to leave. Usually we are able to revisit the wines but this was very limited unlike past dinners. A 20% tip was added to the bill for 2 guests without informing us. Not the usual Ruth’s experience.
