    Our server, Brandon, was great. He followed up at reasonable intervals and did his best to anticipate our needs. The other service staff were excellent as well. My medium rare filet was a little closer to medium than usual, but it was still melt-in-the-mouth goodness. I only gave 4 stars for the food as they changed the way they prepared the brussel sprouts. Instead of full heads, they were chopped/sliced. it made them cook too tough and ruined the contrast of textures with the bacon. The taste was still good, but texture can be everything in fine dining. The noise was louder than usual. A former employee had the table next to us and their former coworkers kept stopping by to have full-voice conversations and exclaim over her kids. My husband and I, who were celebrating our anniversary, had a difficult time hearing each other speak. While the employees did NOT neglect their tables, it would have been courteous if they'd kept their voices down during their private conversations. I know know how many years some of them have worked there (12), how long it's been since they've seen the visitor (anywhere from 4 to 11 years depending on the employee), how old her kids were when she left (a little more than babies), and far too much more information that I couldn't block out. It was impossible to avoid overhearing it. It seriously took away from our enjoyment of our anniversary.

    We were greeted as soon as we walked in to the restaurant. The hostess was ready to except us. When they seated us, there was a note on the table that said happy anniversary. It was great to see they took the extra step to decorate our table.

    We haven't had the opportunity to visit Ruth's Chris for a number of years, and we regret the absence. The food was outstanding, the service, impeccable. We were able to enjoy a leisurely meal, and even met another party whom we had never met before. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary, but we need to remember to visit again soon, special occasion or not.

    some of the dishes were good. some were fair, especially for the price. our servers were very friendly and attentive. If the prices were comparable to other good restaurants, it was good. But when you pay closer to $100 per person, the food and experience needs to be excellent, and it just wasn't on par with the price. You can have just as good of an experience and food for half the price elsewhere, and that is what I would recommend to a friend.

    From receptionist to our waitress everyone was very welcoming! Both filets and sides were superb!!! We got a bottle of Wine from waitress recommendation based on Pinot Noirs & it was delicious. 10/10 we had a great night! ❤️

    My daughter and I dined there to celebrate my 30-year work anniversary on Sep. 1, 2023. As always, our favorite manager, Ricky De Oca came by our table to greet us with his warm welcome and congrat. my 30-year anniversary! He assigned a server called Richard to take excellent care of our dining experience.     Staff was excellent, from the hostesses, the wait staff, and everyone in between. Ambiance was annoying depending on where you’re seated if course, but the main entrance door constantly opening contrasting with the darkness of the dinning room was distracting. This restaurant charges enough to require entrance standards, such as how you’re dressed, but these suggested standards aren’t enforced. After all, this is California and they wouldn’t want to get sued. Poor Ruth would be turning in her grave at the sight of some of the patrons. If you’re celebrating an anniversary or just want some adult time, make sure you reserve a table past 9pm or you’re likely going to hear whining children with parents who tune them out at other diners expense. (Money doesn’t equal class and common sense just isn’t common anymore) If you don’t mind dining in a crowded fish bowl, where staff can barely get by the chairs without bumping into them then you might not care about your $250+ bill (for 2).

    Food was not great! Quality of food barely equal to other steak houses with prices about half as much. Ambiance was nice. It was a fun experience because of service and general ambiance. For $263.67 it was certainly a bit pricey, being the food was quite average, except for the mashed and fried sweet potatoes! They were excellent! Blue cheese dressing was very good, and would have been better on better greens. All else was plumb average!

    We had a couple bad meals here and the manager reached out to try and make it right. Was impressed they did that. None the less took my daughter on a father daughter date night. She had the salmon and I had the burger custom (lobster tail added). Honestly all the waiters kept coming to look at the burger and said it looked real good. For $36 for a burger with lobster it was way worth it and would put in the menu as I would get every time. None the less did a great job so might be getting into the groove again.

    Saturday night. Out of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Bread Pudding, Calamari. BBQ shrimp was room temperature... it got sent back. 2nd round of BBQ shrimp as only warm, not hot. When this happened, the manager came over and gave up coupons. 2 hours and 10 minutes for the whole dinner. We had to run out the door at 10:30 due to some of the guests having flights. Waitress was barely there, but the dining room was mostly empty. It was an 8:30 pm reservation (we got there early). We have been to RCS all over the country, well over 100 times over the years. Worst Ruth's Chris experience we have EVER had. Will not recommend until we go back and see if it has improved.

    It was our first time at Ruth’s and I was very excited to try the tomahawk steak, but was disappointed. Our steak was way to charred for my taste. So much so that some parts were hard for me to chew. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. I wish I had said something to the server, but I am not one to return food to the kitchen even though it was $149. I have to say the service was great. The sides were ok, the lobster Mac n cheese was lacking lobster meat and flavor, the spinach was ok. I enjoyed the bread and garlic mash.
