   We’ve been longtime customers of Ruth’s. The last 2 times we’ve eaten there-Christmas Eve 2024 & Mother’s Day 2025- it was a disappointment. When called by Ruth’s 2 confirm our reservation, I inquired about 2 managers who’ve become “family” 2 us over the years we’ve eaten there. I learned neither mgr was employed there any longer. We learned in mid 2023 that Ruth’s had been bought by the company that owns/runs Olive Garden & Yardhouse. The overall quality & service has markedly decreased since Ruth’s was bought! At Christmas Eve 2024, our waiter tried 2 pass off a lower quality red wine then the 1 we ordered. The waiter presented the bottle, opened it & poured our glasses. That’s when my husband pulled out the menu to double check if that was indeed the bottle requested. It wasn’t. Our waiter returned & my hubby inquired about the bottle poured & waiter said it was the 1 requested. My hubby showed waiter by his wine app, that it wasn’t. We are BIG wine connoisseurs; don’t try 2 lie & get away serving a CHEAP bottle of wine at the HIGHER ordered wine!! The waiter got caught! Yesterday, our waitress started out fine, but got worse as the lunch patrons increased. Perhaps there wasn’t enough serving staff…Then my DIL notice another patron walk past our table with a Yorkie canine, who jumped up onto the booth seat. I asked our server, “When did Ruth’s start allowing dogs inside the restaurant?” to which our waitress said they weren’t allowed to ask if the dog was a Service Dog or not. This Ruth’s DOES have outside seating. When waiting 2 be seated, the hostess asked another patron 2 remove his hat before being seated. Not sure why a person w/a dog isn’t restricted (especially since the dog was not wearing any Therapy Dog attire or identifying tags), but a man is required 2 remove his hat. One of our table guests, a licensed medical counselor, informed the waitress that Ruth’s could ask a patron with a dog what type of Service Animal it was. We won’t return 2 Ruth’s.

   Service was slow. We had a reservation. We got seated but did not get our menus till several minutes after we were seated.

   I write this review with a heavy heart. Ruth Chris is one of my favorite places to eat. I took my family out for a birthday dinner. During the meal we ordered Mac and cheese with lobster and it came out hard and everything stuck together. The Mac and cheese stuck together like a rice crispy and was burned. . Also we ordered desert. My son ordered ice cream and he chocked on a piece of glove that was in the ice cream. The clear plastic was over three inches long. The manager told me that it was probably a piece of glove that got cut. He Took the bowl of ice cream and never returned. We ended up leaving and didn’t take anything to go. Very bad experience and to overall really had a bad. Birthday dinner.

   A fall from grace. We’ve been going to this location for many years. It was our special occasion go to and I don’t think we’ll be back. Entrees took an hour to come out after ordering with no sign of sides. 30 minutes later we finished our entrees and still no sides. Apparently, server forgot to put side order in. Oh well, they discounted our final tab and gave us some desserts but still felt it was a very disappointing experience.

   From the greeting at the door to sitting at our table the whole Ruth’s Chris experience is amazing! The appetizer (calamari ) was so flavorful. The house salad made from homemade dressing is fresh and delicious. Oh and you can never go wrong with the lobster mac and cheese. Yummy! The entree tastes so good! We love the rib-eye and the plate arriving at our table at 500 degrees, it’s prepared to perfection. We look forward to celebrating all our special occasions here, the service is top notch!

    Excellent overall. Steaks were excellent quality. But one was overcooked. Concern was that air conditioning was too cold and staff did not adequately adjust room temp
