    Was a very nice 43rd Anniversary Dinner. We reserved and we’re seat in the bar area which is more intimate than the larger dining area. We did not feel rushed- the salad and then entrees were paced well. All food was prepared as requested. Kudos to Kristen and the rest of the staff for making this an enjoyable evening. One suggestion - the seating needs to be reupholstered

    John was our server and just impeccable. Our friend was celebrating a milestone and everyone from host to our wait staff and the table decoration.....can't say enough good things. The steaks were all cooked to perfection. It was a really great evening.

    The waiter kept pushing drinks on us and side items on us and the children. He charged us for 2 extra salads, and for 2 extra desserts. He wore the dehumanizing bacteria gathering muzzle which really affected the ambiance.

    We were celebrating our anniversary, noted in the reservation. We were greeted at the door with a smile and a Happy Anniversary from the concierge. Our table was ready when we arrived, and decorated with confetti for our event. Also a card hand signed by staff on hand - a great beginning! Our server, Ellie, as well as all who took care of us were courteous and pleasant- excellent customer service! We had a nice conversation with the manager who I noticed stopped at each table in our view to chat for a moment with the guests - excellent! We had drinks before dinner which were plentiful and tasted great. About our food: we both had the Ruth's classic, which is an appetizer, entree, side and dessert. All cooked to perfection as well as presented beautifully - and delicious! Our deserts were nicely presented with a Happy Anniversary note drawn on the plates:) This will be our location to visit whenever we dine at Ruths Chris with family or friends. Everything was perfect!

    Always a great experience at Ruth's Chris Fairfax. David was great, and Ali (a server who knows us well) always says hi, as well as the manager. The only negative would be our steak plates weren't sizzling when brought out. We love that part of the ambiance.

    We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. Our table was decorated with hearts and a card. The waiter was excellent. For my dessert, the plate had Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. The meal was delicious.

    It was my girlfriend and I’s anniversary, I surprised her with a reservation to Ruth’s Chris. From the time we got to the front door we were greeted with a smile. The waiters were amazing. They were extremely helpful and kind. They also don’t hover over your table. The food was out of this world. Steaks cooked perfectly exactly how we asked. Instead of Wine, we had cocktails and let me say this. Those didn’t disappoint! If you get sides, I highly recommend the Sweet Potato Casserole, It was delicious! All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back again!

    Ruth Chris is definitely a lovely place for a nice meal. I did order crab cakes and was a bit disappointed with them. I tasted my boyfriend's steak and that was delicious. I guess getting steak in a steakhouse makes more sense than fish. LOL The sides were very good- sweet potato casserole and loaded baked potato. Unfortunately, the table we sat at was very uncomfortable. It was in the back corner, next to the outside dining area. Every time a server went through the door, the wind blew my hair into my face. Not the most comfortable, especially when it happened very often and when you're eating.

    We celebrated my son’s birthday last night, t’was an amazing classy restaurant, nice ambiance and private place. It takes awhile to serve but worth the wait as our orders: steaks, crab cakes and sides were served sizzling on hot plates. thanks for the birthday greeting card and the birthday complimentary dessert - you made it extra special😊cocktail drinks and desserts are awesome too. happy to come back again and experience the ‘Ruth Chris steak way’

    Dinner was fantastic. The crab cakes are almost all crab, no filler. Steak was cooked perfectly and the desserts are amazing. Great service and food made for a perfect dinner out.

    I'm still in shock at the difference from the old Ruth's. 20 years ago. Sport coats, no shorts, sandals. Food too oily, buttery, salty.

    Seemed everything was going very slow and not successfully. Took over 10 minutes to get drinks - the beer came later! Bread promised but had to ask a 2nd time. Calamari appetizer was served as requested. Don’t know what the long delay with the meal was. Husband’s steak overcooked. Side of hash browns was burnt and sent back. Since took so longer we cancelled them but still re-delivered. Swimming in butte and tasted a bit burnt! Cheesecake ordered with whipped cream only. Came that way blobbed on top, although not sure it was whipped cream. Able to lift it off the cheesecake in one blob and it never changed shape - more like heavy marshmallow cream! It was my husband’s 73rd birthday and the dessert was served on Happy Anniversary platter! Waitress, Ellie, said no Birthday plates - Ok then put it on a clean plate. We’ve been coming to this establishment since it opened. Ruths Chris needs to invest in improving the seating- our booth lacked cushioning. Could feel a “board” in the base. Ladies room - messy, handicapped stall out of service & 1st stall latch broken so have substitute lock. Needless to say for what you charge this could have gone do much better. Other tables near us seemed to be having similar delays in service of food. Manager just apologized over and over and “comped” the hash browns.

    I was excited to dine here again as we usually love dining at this location even tho we drive 1.5 hours to get there we think it's usually worth the drive. However this time it was not. The service is always A+ but the food this particular day was not. It was my actual birthday and I picked a restaurant that I knew would serve good food as thats all I wanted on my birthday was to eat a great meal. Our steaks came out hot, but our sides we cold, and Luke warm. The food actually took a while to come out as we ordered a 2nd round of appetizers because it took so long. Then the complimentary dessert for my birthday was literally slipped together. I was highly disappointed and left thinking it's time to give another location a try as perhaps, this location lost their better cooks and preps. Idk but I was very disappointed

    Took a friend from out of town to dinner for taking me to the Kennedy Center. Elegant but pricey. I would recommend it for special occasions for steak lovers.
