Food was good. Worst part was 7 people being jammed in a small table. They wonder why we didnt order appetizers ...because there literally wasn’t any room !!! Won’t return.
44 dollar steak way over done.
Not a lot for the money
Decent flavor but I’ve had much better in high end restaraunts
There was a man setting at the bar and he was screaming with foul langauge. Poor service at the start of meal. Took over 10 min to even see our waiter. After making reservations they sat us in lounge. I can go to several other restraunts and get the samr steak for half the price. Wont be going back.
Our waitress was awesome.
This isn’t my first time to this restaurant. Service was not great. It took a long time for our orders, bread. Our side dishes came out cold. Steak was not worth it. Not returning
Our party of six was very disappointed in our meal at Ruth’s Chris a few days ago. The service was awful, the food was average at best, and the entire experience was a let down.
I submitted a review to Ruth’s Chris corporate and haven’t heard back from them. I guess they don’t care about good service either.
With so many other good steakhouses in Denver we won’t be back.
Upon entering, we were greeted by two pleasant young ladies and were seated promptly. Waiter’s aid was prompt and friendly.
Waiter, Grant, wasn’t very attentive initially, actually cut me off several times mid-sentence. He appeared to ask the typical small talk questions however clearly wasn’t interested in our responses. On one occasion he actually walked away while I was responding to his question, “how is the salad?” I thought, wow why ask if you didn’t want to know ...actually the salad wasn’t very good...it was somewhat bitter. Near the end of our visit, he seemed to show more interest...hmmm, just now thinking that things changed close to tip time.
The manager visited the table behind us to see how their dining experience was going however that same manager never bothered to stop by our table. Found that somewhat interesting.
My fiancé loves steak however has never dined at a Ruth Chris. One of our favorite spots is Lewnes in Annapolis MD. This visit to Ruth Chris certainly didn’t meet my expectations. For my fiancé’s first visit, this didn’t leave a good impression. Now I wish we would had gone to one of our other favorite chain steakhouses ...may try Ruth Chris again when we return to DC area however definitely do not plan to return to this location any time soon, if at all.
Oh was just reminded by my fiancé that When the check was dropped off, Grant tossed two mints on the table... smh
amazing service, exceeded my expectations!
Steak was very well prepared. There was no music in the restaurant which conveyed a lack of energy and atmosphere.
Had a birthday dinner with my wife at Ruth's Chris Denver. The food was fantastic as usual but I was telling my wife a story and the story brought our attention to the ceiling. We both looked at the light fixture and were disgusted to see a large amount of dead bugs in the light fixture. It was the large round fixtures with the opaque bottom. Someone should clean those.
Great food and good spacing between other tables it didn't feel crowded at all.
Excellent filet and service!!
Had an amazing dinner, happened to go during 5280 week without realizing it! Upgraded the dinners and it was all so very good! Our waiter was Louis, he made sure everything was perfect!
Best steak and lobster I have ever tasted. The steak was so incredibly tender and flavorful while the lobster was very rich and tender. The service was impeccable and such nice people. We would definitely dine here again.
It was horrible! This was our first time and we will not be back. I made a reservation a week in advance and instead of being seated in the dining area we were sat in the bar. I was a bit ok with that but a bit disappointed seeing as it was a romantic date night for my husband and I. then we had business meetings going on around us and they were very loud I couldn’t hear our waitress. At the bar right behind us was 3 guy talking VERY loudly and cursing up a storm. The sad part is the bar tender was sitting there talking with them also not one asking them to be a bit quieter. The food was ok but the atmosphere was horrible. Spent to much money to have this type of date night.
My wife became ill after dining at the Denver
I was happy with my meal but my wife's filet was overcooked and not very tender which was disappointing for the price we paid. The service and our drinks were excellent!
Over an hour before food was served and steak was overcooked. They made me another one but that still took about 10-15 minutes while everyone else ate. Food was drowned with butter.
Total meal ran over $430 for 4 with only one glass of wine each for their restaurant week special. In general was very disappointed.
I went to Ruth Chris for restaurant week as I have often visited for Happy Hour when I attend events at the Convention Center. I was looking forward to the meal. While the salmon was absolutely incredible an cooked perfectly, the salad was borderline disgusting. The greens were either old or mishandled as they were limp, tasteless and very hard to get on my fork.
I always wonder when a single woman dines in a place where many big business deals and big tabs are common, that less care is taken with the woman.
Being Denver Restaurant Week, there is no excuse for half-gone greens when the restaurant will be filled for over a week. The salmon was stellar and was the only saving grace.
We unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. It took a while to get our drinks, the server never checked up on us once we received our food, our drinks were often empty, our plates weren’t cleared from the table after we were done eating and we sat under a vent blowing cold air so I unfortunately I had to wear my winter jacket while eating dinner. We went for restaurant week and we weren’t able to change the salad dressing selection on the salad and the steak and potatoes weren’t the beat considering the price we paid. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience.
Love the food! We have been here many times, before shows downtown and the valet is awesome with showing you where your vehicle is parked for the night! Ambiance is awesome. Staff can be a hit or miss really. I'm half and half. We had someone wait on our table last time that didn't seem like he liked his job, we just thought, maybe he was having a bad day. But yes food was wonderful.
We went for my husbands birthday and they made it so special. The table had birthday confetti, they greeted him by name and wished him happy birthday and the birthday dessert even included a happy birthday with his name. The steak was fabulous too -melt in your mouth tender! And the unexpected treat was the sweet potato casserole - amazing side dish! The cocktails were good, and the atmosphere quiet and upscale. It's a great place for a special occasion.
Huge Ruth’s fan, but these were some of the chewiest filet’s we have had at Ruth’s. They tasted like they were boiled then grilled. Extremely disappointed with the food quality compared to other Ruth’s we eat at in New York and Bentonville.
After recently moving to the area and visiting this particular restaurant in July 2017.. My fiancé and I were disappointed with the food because our requested medium rib eyes came out well done TWICE.. reluctant to try out the location again, we swallowed our pride as we are loyal Ruth Chris customers. I must say, I am very glad we did. The service and food was great the entire time. Our sides same out a little on the cold side but they fixed the issue quickly and even offered us a free desert. The cheesecake was marvelous by the way. We will be back. Enjoyed every minute of this night!
Seated quickly ... waitress greeted us..
We were informed a team would service
our table ... 25 minutes later the waitress
re-appeared... filet on the bone was tasteless (both of them)... bone-in was good but not
great... the waitress kept putting the menus
In my face! Rude ! The restaurant had empty tables ... not managed well.
Won’t be back
A bit too cold (room temp). Food was pretty good maybe a bit on the pricey side for what you get. Hightlighted "Corn Fed" for the beef, when most now enjoy grass fed beef as a better choice.
Food was great. Started off well but as the crowd started to decline later in the evening the bar staff were not as attentive and on their cell phones not paying attention as we were trying to have after dinner drinks.
Customer service was lacking. I ordered a filet Oscar style. They set my dinner plate in front of me and I was talking to my buddy. Within 20 seconds my Oscar style topping was sitting all over my lap and floor. I understand accidents happen. My steak had a slanted top and this caused the Oscar topping to slide off and fall in my lap. While the wait staff clean up the mess and replaced the topping. I was shocked that this restaurant did not do anything other than that. I did not make a big deal out of it. I thought they would have taken one of my drinks off the total in an apology showing that they really cared I had seafood all over MY pants!!!!!!! Nothing! No we are so sorry we are taking at least 1 drink off your total. Also my Buddy ordered a medium rare steak and his came Way over cooked. He wanted to say something but decided not to because this Ruth Chris obviously doesn't care about plate presentation, cooking the food to order, or customer compensation when they have seafood in their lap!!! FAIL for this Ruth Chris
Nice restaurant, great service, excellent steak but to much butter and house seasoning
Our first time at the new location. Everything was excellent. Steaks cooked to desired temperature, sides were delicious. Would highly recommend as one of Denver's premier steakhouses.
Very good. A special thank to Cory for her simpaty and professionality. Best regards Attilio
We were celebrating our Anniversary and they had the table decorated with rose petals and a beautiful display for a dessert. Made our dining experience a memorable evening.
Not the typical experiences this chain. Medium rare filet delivered medium well. Took 15 minutes to get a gluten free menu. Wrong bottle of wine delivered. Macaroni noodles found in sautéed mushrooms (remember gluten free?!). To top it off, when manager said he’d cover the filet meal and the wine, fine. Bill arrives and wine still on the bill. SMH. As we are about to leave, a second manager stops by to leave a $50 gift card. We are now late for our show. Evening not a success...
We were interrupted a few times while talking and ask to pass our glass for refills. This is very unusual as typically the staff would be invisible but around if needed. Yet they were friendly and nice. The food was good as usual and the price is high as usual. But the quality of the food is impeccable so we returned.
I proposed to my girlfriend, and I could not have picked a better place to do so. Very romantic restaurant.
Along with two other couples, we booked Ruth Chris for New Years Eve. Service was great! Nice menu changes. Unfortunately, my wife, who ordered a filet, did not have a great meal. She ordered it medium well. She had to send it back twice due to being brought to her cooked raw, then rare. Was really surprised by this. By the time the filet was brought back a third time it was burnt beyond recognition. The manager did his best to make things right by comping the meal and a drink but my wife left hungry!
We would go back but was disappointed in one of our meals.
Fabulous New Years Eve cocktail followed by dinner with wine.
With dozens of upscale choices in Denver downtown area, Ruth Chris is always exceptional
